Just to throw this out there, @10:40 I have seen some antique walnut Mauser grips that were checkered, just like these. They didn't seem to be done by hand, either.
Great video! How did you mount the flash hider on the replica Mauser? I'm building one myself, and the internal diameter of the flash hider leaves a lot of wiggle room on the barrel.
A great little haul there Scott! I'm still tinkering with resculpting my old Denix in my spare time; I'm thinking I'll modify the upper receiver to sit further forward and re-drill the hammer hole next. But I'm also looking forward to getting one of Field Marshal's Mauser Replicas in the coming weeks; with any luck I should have just enough to purchase one relatively soon! (The only thing I'm curious about is the hammer angle; it seems to sit at an angle rather than how most sit vertical. Is the upper receiver at the right length/location, or is that just an optical illusion?)
@@scottjua Ah I see; at first I was thinking that either the upper receiver was too far back or the hammer's pivot hole drilled too far forward (either of which would "push" it to angle back like that). It doesn't bug me too much, though worst case scenario I could try replacing the hammer with one from a real c96 (if they're cut the same way). Although, are there any concrete ideas for when the next batch will take place, if that will be fixed anyways? Or is it just sometime in 2020 at the moment?
Wow. What an amazing collection. Well done sir. This video has now become the definitive guide to making accurate versions of these blasters.

very good work
On the ROTJ stembridge, is the whole kit field Marshall ?
Was you ever planning to sell the spring upgrade as a kit?
Dude, is it possible to get a reference or a list of all of the parts on the Luke Bespin Blaster that is Fire Blued? I would be very grateful.

It's something to do with how the hammer is machined. Either the pivot is off or the sear shelf is off. The next batch will have it revised.
