Oh Beth. This made me so emotional and proud. He would be so so proud of you, and you said he was so positive and lit every room he went into, all I can say is that you do the exact same. Awww Beth 😭 Gosh I’m in floods of tears. Wow that was really emotional. I could never understand how you feel but in a strange sense I do as I grew up without a father and I’ve craved one all my life. Now I feel your dad lives on in you as you bear some of his qualities. (Life and soul, lights up the room etc) I imagine he’s immensely proud of the woman you are today and proud of your mum and sister. Hold on to those spiritual thoughts because I believe he’s with you through every day of your journey, unseen, unheard but ALWAYS there. I’m so glad you spoke out about the grief your going through. Grief comes in all forms. People deal with grief differently but it comes down to the same thing... missing someone you love so dear. You never come to terms with the loss you just learn to live with it. I’m sending you a huge virtual hug my dear friend wishing I could do it in person. Your such a beautiful soul and you grace the earth with your presence, your compassionate and I see why you become a nurse and your a credit to the NHS, yourself and your parents.
