And the best part is ---- even when you finally get it, even if they print it through the roof -- you aint gonna pull anything! Pull rates are atrocious, so please - the Pokemon Company DOES NOT care about you. It cares about its stock price.
The reprints are going to be consumed faster than they can produce. They are also behind on surging. As someone in manufacturing I am curious on their production schedule. Are they running 2 shifts, overtime, weekend shifts? More curious on the ins and outs of production in Pokemon company.
But HOW did they miss the mark? That's the important question. How did the Pokemon Company not know what every Pokemon fan knew months in advance about this set? Especially after watching what happened with Surging Sparks... is their intel THAT bad? You would have had to be comatose for the past 3 months to miss the mark like this. No excuse.
I think the printing had already begun prior to Surging Sparks. I’m not exactly sure but I can assume a set is not printed literally right after the older set is printed. It’s most likely printed earlier than that considering how much has to be printed
PC Etbs wont be reprinted though correct? Also I'm curious, on the high end what value can you see pc etbs reaching? On the low end what could we expect? Would be cool to see a breakdown of this since I hear you mention PC etbs more than anyone else
Proof that PSA grade cards depending on the value of them.. When a cards value increases, they grade the card more harshly - just goes to show this company is a farce and grading isn't objective at all.
No matter how much will be thi set reprinted, maybe reprints will be with more errors and stuff.. But all products that are now on market will be considered "vintage" in few years... Imagine ur kids opening this set when they will be your age ❤
Gotta think...this set has some regular cards that have 4 variants...um...pretty sure this is the reason why people think it was short printed. No. This set is just huge when there is tons of cards to pull that need to be printed.

The new sets should be printed 2Xs as much. And the older ones just a reprint. Don't want to crash the older sets just the newer ones so all the ones, especially us, would have a few
Can you please do a monthly top 5 or 10 Pokemon products to invest in. From booster boxes, ETBs etc anything Please!! :))) you know your stuff and can help people
Maybe they should just put on the box that you can't resell the product on the box? Which means that anyone who sees the listings on Ebay etc can report it and have it taken down?
@@Charziken I have no problem reselling cards but I think actual trainer boxes sets etc that are official packaged products should not be allowed to be resold or must be sold at retail price only it would legit resolve this entire problem for most hobbyist so anyone who fights that I'm assuming they collect for money not for the hobby.
If it's real hobby thn just opt for cheaper options .. many ppl opening packs so loose cards are cheap. If u plan to buy and sell thn it's not hobby ya
Journey Together doesn't interest me at all. Aside from a select few, I do not care for Pokémon outside of Gen 1. I will only buy Pokémon sets that have mostly Gen 1 Pokémon for the hits/SIR's. I believe most of the new people getting back into Pokémon collecting like me feel the same way.
Same, but add Gen 2 and maybe Gen 3, then you'd have a lot more fun collecting trust me. You'll have a hard time finding what you want because most of the sought after sets coincidently will have popular gen 1 pokemon. Proof of that is how quickly the 151 packs sold out.

So if they just want everyone to be happy and get the cards they want, why are pull rates so low (and appear to be at an alltime low for this set)? Japanese sets don't have this issue. If they had our best interest at heart they wouldn't have turned this into the equivalent of picking up scratchers from 7/11. It's gambling and it's been made to be as addictive as possible to boost sales, period. There is no corporate entity that cares anything past revenue, consumer be damned.
Everything in Pokémon center is sold out. There’s no prismatic, no surging sparks, no 151. If you mean sold out of every set, then sure there’s battle styles and some other sets. But if that’s all there is they will start losing people. People’s attention is sooooo short.
@Theu131 lose what people there's lines for this stuff at stores. Every pre release sells out in an hour. I bet they have a bunch of inventory somewhere to trickle out to us. But why flood the market when the bank is overflowing and slow down profits.
@@robertromero8094the lines at stores is a new thing that’s only started happening in the last few months. It hasn’t been the norm since celebrations when stuff was peak hype. But they definitely lost a ton of people for a year or 2 after crown zenith. Now it’s getting crazy again.

@@D4M4K4 the difference is the Prismatic Set is kind of trash compared to 151. It’s Evolving skies 2.0 in many ways. Eeveelutions are overrated and Pokemon is capitalizing on the hype.
This video was very interesting. I have never seen anyone look at quality in the reprint. I think I mentioned this in a previous comment, but I always assumed a re-repairable significantly drop the prices of a sealed and singles. I remember when it happened to lost origin, however after seeing the reprint for PD evolved, I realize I was completely wrong lol.

Secondary market, lol.. every LCS was selling the ETBs for 140 today. The secondary market was actually cheaper by 20 bucks

Reselling should be fine, but you should have to have an official website with a registered LLC IMO. Or if the set is of a certain age

They have been short printing their product for the past year since Twilight. They reduced their output by 40 percent.
