    I have very dry skin, so I appreciated the advice and product recommendations. Your voice sounds beautiful and your face is too. Don’t listen to the haters who have so little going for them, that their only fun in life is trying to make other people feel bad. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you.

    I'm obsessed with Laneige Water Sleeping Mask and lip mask. I also love the Kopari line, Origins GinZing products, Tarte Rainforest of the Sea moisture cream and Ole Hendriksen products. Good skincare is a MUST!

    That was great! I have dry skin that needs a lot of exfoliation. Knowing what order to exfoliate and hydrate was helpful.

    Aimee uses some of the same steps as I do (including the Luna) for my normal to dry skin. I use a lot of Farmacy, DE, and Laniege products in my routine though.

    It really sticks that all these products are too expensive. Some of the Sephora products are okay but it’s just tough when you can’t pick up the majority of these products. 🤷🏻‍♀️

      Trust me, you dont need to spend 530$ to make your skin look good. Check out Dr.Dray! She literally changed my skincare game along with deciem and kojie san soap for pigmentation. Most of these beauty companies-- you're paying for the brand or all the extra stuff they throw in to up the price.

      The Ordinary is a great affordable skincare brand! It's with the same company Deciem. There's affordable to higher priced items. You should check them out! I order mine from Beautylish! Great place to order from, fast shipping, amazing customer service, & the package is packed so cute! 😊

    Loved this skin care routine being I’m from Massachusetts our winter weather is similar and I’m always super dryers out .. I have horrible expression lines on my forehead very deep and in between my eyes as well as squinting lines on outside of eyes could you guys do one for deeper expression lines or more mature skin??? I’m a lady of 37 and I’m having a lot of trouble finding products to help with my needs and find myself buying more and more primers to fill in these lines and cosmetically hide them rather than fix them

    • @emilysevereid-geiss5825
      @emilysevereid-geiss5825 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Heaven Lee Szczepaniak nothing topical will fix those lines. botox is really the only thing that will help and it’s by relaxing the muscle to smooth out the imbedded wrinkles.

      Jenny Rodriguez a tip i learned for dry skin is to NEVER EVER USE TOWELS TO THE FACE. After you wash your face pat all the water in or instead while your face is wet apply your moisturizer to prevent transepidermal water loss. You instead keep the water in your skin which leads to a better hydrated face!

    I live in Colorado too. I find that one or even two layers of moisturizer isn’t enough for me.
    So after all the cleansing and prep steps, I use (1) ordinary buffet as a base then (2) drunken elephant protini cream then top it off with (3) drunken elephant C-Firma or Farmacy sleep tight
    :)

      I found mixing an oil in with my cream helps a lot too (I use camellia during the day, and argan at night).

      Are you supposed to add the C-Firma before the moisturizer since it’s a serum?

    • @Too510
      @Too510 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Taravat I personally go from light to heavy. Since its a serum, you want it to deeply penetrate and hydrate the skin. I would then apply my moisturizer to seal everything in. I also top off my moisturizer with sunscreen and rose water.

    My skincare routine is basically identical to this but I still wake up feeling really tight and dry in my face! I can’t get rid of this feeling unless I lather moisturiser on my face 24/7! Can you recommend a really really hydrating moisturiser?

    • @Taravat76
      @Taravat76 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Angelina Ivanisevic Have you tried a balm? Here are two AMAZING ones (you don’t need to spend a lot) La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 Balm Cream (Amazon) or the Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm (Amazon or Sephora). These balms are both incredible and they will leave your skin hydrated for sure. Also, if you have time, I would use a simple avocado and honey mask daily. I just smash a 1/4 of an avocado, add a little honey and rub it onto my skin, leave it there for 15 min. Instant hydration!! 💦 👍🏼

    • @kaitjonyl
      @kaitjonyl 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Angelina Ivanisevic here are a couple you could try, I have dry skin as well.
      -The Ordinary rose hip seed oil (they have tons of products, you should definitely check it out. I order mine from Beautylish or the Hush app), Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Virgin Marula Oil, Moroccan Argan Oil
      - Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
      - L'Oréal Revitalift Cicacream
      - Tatcha products are expensive but are amazing!
      Good luck

      Try applying moisturizer to wet skin. Whenever you wash your face, or even apply water to the skin, it goes through something called trans epidermal water loss, which is when water on the skin pulls water and moisture out of the skin, leading to dryness. If you apply a moisturizer with humectants such as glycerin, dimethicone or hyaluronic acid, it prevents that from happening and attracts the water into the skin. Hope this helps! 😊

    The only bad thing about foaming cleansers is that they irritate my eyes and I like to apply my cleanser everywhere.I like to be really clean.I tend to have sensitive eyes.
