I don't know if he has composed any movie music but he wrote Who wants to live forever for Highlander, that song is absolutely epic and perfect for a movie. I was surprised when I recently heard Brian wrote it, I had totally forgotten it was a Queen song.
I love this song and I am going to bet you will too. Brian is a very special guitar player and a legend in my opinion. Nobody plays or sounds like Brian. I do hear Brighton Rock in this song as well, but this song showed up on Brian's album Back To The Light in 1992. The version on that album is beautiful and sorrowful and not as lengthy, improvised or eerie as this version of it which he does at live shows..
Great reaction. Its funny you mention that he must have done film scores - obviously queen done Flash Gordon & contributed to Highlander soundtracks, but Brian has also worked on the soundtrack for a film called Furia. Changing the subject would like to see you react to Brian May's cover of Slow Down by the Beatles from his album Another World, i think you would enjoy.
It almost sounds like the beginning of Welcome to the Jungle " near the end , I never heard that before. VOX Brian May amplug will get you the exact same sound on probably almost any guitar !
Legend
Simply one of the Best 👍🏻
Brian loves all things of the galaxy. He has a degree in astrophysics. Dr Brian May. And knighted also
Brian has not only a degree but a PhD in astrophysics ... Dr Brian and yes also Sir Brian May
Such a amazing band live!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Dr of Space Knocks it out of the Earth into the Stratosphere ✨💫💥 Each guy in Queen was / is uniquely talented. TY Rory ✌🏼
I love this! You're right with Brighton Rock 😉🎸

Last horizon played on its own on the Queen & Paul Rodgers tours (particularly the 2005 return of the champions version) is masterful
Major Brighton Rock influence. Great solo. remember he’s in his mid sixties here. thank you Brian.
He is 71 here
I mentioned this before,
VOX Brian May amplug will get you all of these sounds on your guitar , ITS A MUST HAVE !

I think it's originally inspired by Freddie's short demo It's So You but you can hear bits of It Brighton Rock and even It's a Beatiful Day.
😂❤😂❤😊

You have to be an astrophysicist to play such a solo 💫
