I don't get the functionality behind having a cylinder as the 'ball'
Well how else would you do it?
Well the project would make a lot more sense with a basket ball, (i.e. the ones used in Lego GBC) because at the very least it would make it functional as a ball maze.
There's no spheres in LEGO yet, at least not big enough to contain Aiai
