Troy came to my high school and told us to say no to drugs and somebody said yo song says "smoking big killa getting high in the benz".Troy said it also says "But it gotta be a better way".
Cold-ass clap back. 💯
Why he came to my elementary school school and someone said this too lol i just want him to know i listened lol
@karankawa1703 the good thing is he acknowledged he was being a hypocrite and making it right.Accountibility .
@@rafelgreen4129how is that acknowledging being a hypocrite? It was his way of life. People do what they know to survive. That doesn't mean they can't change and promote doing something better for youngsters who never made it to that place yet. All he acknowledged is that he knew it was wrong and it had to be a better way. I don't think you know the definition of a hypocrite
@@thaimperial97 he said it in the interview
Troy deserves way more credit than he gets for his contributions to the Houston rap culture. Salute to you Willie D for the dope interview. Much respect from Memphis
Troy a real dude. I met him down in Texas when i was driving trucks and he gave me his cell number and told me to holla if i needed anything . Dude didn't know me from Adam, but always gave me game whenever i called him.💯
I love Lil Troy! I met this man back in 2001 when he rolled up on me in his white Benz witht he baddest chick I ever seen. he asked me what I had going on as I was walking with posters and Cd's trying to get our music off. This was back in Poteet, Texas 2001. In 2011, I seen him again in San Antonio at a car show and out of everybody in the crowd he recognized me and yelled out at me like we was the best of friends!! He rembered me!! I am nobody. That was most admirable moment ever from a rapper. Trae the Truth is second after Lil Troy!!
Wow that's a phenomenal story that he remembered you 10 years later great story. Troy a good dude.
Love hearing stories like these man. Blessings G.
This was a really great conversation! Thanks Will and Troy for showing my big brother, DJ Ready Red love...❤
Willie D thank you 🙏🏽 for giving us this dope interview with Troy I’m from New Jersey and I know exactly where I was at in my life when I heard wanna be a baller and what’s crazy is I still listen 👂 to that song till this day and I’m 45 years old. This definitely made my day I’m so happy to know that Troy is living well and has his health and his story is very inspiring thanks again Willie D and Troy……. No More Talk
Yo, son! Dirty Jerseyan here. Moved to Denver, CO in 2001, but a nikka was born in AC, raised in Brick City, and spent my teenage years til 21 in Chilltown! What's up, tho?!? 🙌
You must be new to the show. He did this interview already. Willie and Troy must be losing their minds.
Troy spoke nothing but FACTS on trucking. You can tell he's really in the business. 20 year trucker myself 💯
No BS
10 years in myself and that hit home especially on the breakdown 😂
Gotta get a newer truck and lease it, and get a CDL license so you know how to drive it ya self , drive for a year or so even and thats one load dont give up because when trucking comes back itll pay alot
Shout out to Lil' Troy and Pastor J. and Higher D Church and the Men's Ministry.
He took y'all way back this man said SOUTH PARK VILLAGE! Troy a real hustler round here.
R.I.P. 32 and Ready Red
Maaaan I’m from a small town called Laurel, Mississippi, but I touched my first REAL money in Houston. Back when the ace of oil was going for $20 and the pint was 160. I’ve lived many places before and after H Town but none have had the impact that Houston had on me TIL THIS DAY!!! No other culture in the world can match it. I always said if I ever go broke and I’m homeless just drop me off in 5th Ward and I’ll holla at cha ✌🏾 Regardless of the paperwork or whatever this interview felt good to my spirit mane🤘🏾
@@kingmississippislim4742 MACON MS BOSS RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD
Man! I walk around the crib singing the hook to “Wanna Be A Baller” so much, my 3 year old son sings it 🤦🏽♂️ 😂. Shot out to Lil Troy!
Troy ballin in the background ALWAYS! Straight up Business Man!
What's your IG
The best part of this interview was the redemption story. Troy knows he helped destroy the community and he's man enough to admit it. Then do something to make up for it by giving back. Im proud of this brotha.
Artist: Scarface
Album: Emeritus
Year: 2008
Listen: Intro track
Footnote: Mousetrap for a rat
Facts he was workin with the boys n nem lol
Doesn’t he mention it on g code too
Was he really..because Troy brought some guy with paperwork on Face…Do your research..there’s a guy that went to prison behind face bringing the feds around ..but claims he didn’t know that the guy was the feds…I feel like it’s a slap in Scarface face by Willie D interviewing lil troy….AGAIN DO YOUR RESEARCH
@@Noswitchinup365 what people never talk about is Lil Troy sued Face for defamation of character and won. The only way you win a defamation case is if somebody is lying.
Song: High Power
Man it's nice you guys chopped it up like this ,shot out to Willie D and Lil Troy ..
Man, Troy is a real hustler. My pops would've loved Troy's style because he has a hustle that's more than just rap or dope.
Lil Troy is a Ratone. Beaumont Federal prison . I was there

❤❤❤Willie D. As a woman. This is one of the best interview you have done so far.
😊
He did this same exact interview with the same exact person and talked about the same exact things like 2 or 3 years ago. Lol
Lol .....😂
Why does it matter if you're a woman or not🤔 it's a good interview regardless
It's so good to see these big Homies chop it up with this good talk man
Real Talk! Thanks Lil Troy and Willie D for this one.
Fantastic interview. Thank you for this!!
Respect to you Brother Willie D. Troy is showing who he is and is honest due to his choice and programming. He is not good for a healthy, crime free community by admitting what he did about his son's robbing and he would have showed him differently. Can't serve 2 masters
Lil Troy a cool dude I worked with him a few years back and people was like damn he must’ve fell off because he had a job, that man showed them his annual income off of wanna be a baller and let’s just say he can sleep all day and not work at all, he’s just a natural born hustler and business man
Am a real yaad man from Jamaica i play this track like eri single day that GOD sent pumping air through these lungs the real way soo salute Lil Troy 👊✊🇯🇲....

This interview was historical! Glad to here HIS side of the story. Much respect for Troy. So much knowledge and wisdom shared between you both. Salute Willie, this one is for the record books!
This interview inspired me.💯
Scarface,Geto Boys, and SPC had a huge following in Memphis in the early 90s. Duke Duece is still keeping gangsta walking alive. It's just evolved into jookin which is more individual instead of the gangsta walk circles that used to take place in them Memphis clubs. They used to tear da club up most definitely!😂
Im from Little Rock bro, we used to have that gangsta train goin on..
@@marcuseagles5342yes indeed….. from Little Rock down to Jax skating on Sunday nights!!
Yeah I used to to do that Gangster walk in Memphis and Tupelo Mississippi

Damm Willie D when you spoke on people bringing up your past that’s something I needed to hear I’m going through that now and I’m so removed from who I used to be I appreciated that
Appreciate it. Willie d putting my city Shreveport Louisiana on here
s/o to the Ratchet City..I moved to Allendale as a youth from Detroit..my second home for real
I’m from BR but Lil Troy is 1 of reasons I love Houston OGs . Texas rappers get in the rap game and when they done with rap still be successful real bosses and kings 💯💯💪🏾💪🏾
Man I've been wondering why we haven't heard any music from Lil Troy he's still one of the most influential rappers to come out of the south

Good interview, Willie.
I've always said that a lot of Black businesses fail because of NOT doing due diligence or educating themselves about the "business" they want to engage in. In addition to CUTTING corners, which I despise. 🤷🏾♀️
He ain’t lying straight game no cut
Lil Troy! ❤❤❤❤ I still bump Wanna be a Baller to this day! Great to see him Willie D❤. I still bump baldhead h@es as well as a bunch of Geto Boys music as well. Great to see artist, I was influenced by still getting 💰 and healthy ❤❤❤❤ A classic 4 sho
