Hyperactive or not it's a crucial topic most people have no clue about, and it's difficult to explain regardless of how focused and steady paced you are. Most times I tried with good friends, they either started to doze off, zone out or simply disconnected because they're too used to consuming entertainment. But you can't go into relevant geopolitics while keeping under-motivated people entertained. And topics keep branching out because most of the audience just has no clue globally speaking. You can't explain debt without explaining money, you can't explain national debt without explaining central banking, etc etc. A real lecture on this would take a full week several hours a day and very few people care enough to commit to that kind of learning. Unfortunately... that's why it's so easy to manipulate the masses :(
Yes! When I read it, I thought it was amazing, and I think it's a really important book (Tho I don't agree with some of his conclusions). But I should revisit it as quite a few of my views have shifted recently. Have you read it?
Sorry ... I gave up after 7 minutes .. The lady is too hyperactive.

@@hoshinotanecedryctensaibat9711 It is certainly an important subject. I am sure that the professor can explain it quite eloquently.
New to the channel, good content, accessible for people who are newbies too. Good energy :)
Hello Suse! Just wanted to know whether you have read Debt: The First 5000 years and, if you have, what your opinion is of the book?
