I love how Nolan was like "OH REALLY". He tried to pretend to be the adult but the second he had the option, he was immediately like "girl spill the tea"
@@CamdenKaneakaNeptunesdaughterSeason 1 actually had something like that. The rookies get punked into putting together a rather corny recruitment ad and when it is revealed that it was a prank. Grey pulls out a bowl of popcorn as they watch the failed takes.
I love hiw quickly Nolan stops defending Wesley😂 "Wesley is not the cheating type." "Wesley is not as squeaky clean as you think." "Wait, really? Hit me with that gos, Angela."
The fact that they're all on the same channel, completely ignoring their tasks and just being hilarious cops while one of them is getting cheated on, is priceless 😂. Priorities, right? 🤦♂️
Try driving around the city for an eight-hour shift sometimes by yourself. Maybe they're cops, but still human beings. Those open channel chats are the only way that they can talk and keep their sanity. People think that cops have to stay focus on the job the whole shift, but they like to have fun, too.
Sargent Grey is the best kind of boss- still your boss and commands respect, but also not a hard ass about people just having a tiny bit of fun before refocusing them
At the end of the video, I was laughing so hard while somehow, I was also able to say repeatedly, "Serg searched. Serg searched. Serg searched." LOL my dogs looked at me like I lost it. 😂😂😂
My favorite part was when the woman said to change to channel 13 (Which I'd assume for them is a independent frequency), yet not one officer ever actually switched to that frequency...Hence the "Open Channel" remark.
I love this series but it has changed *a lot*. When it started it felt like it was really trying to be as realistic as possible while still being Hollywood. The crimes were real and relatable, the rules were strict, and everyone thought Nolan was a liability. Now Nolan's a hero, there are international spy organisations, and it's basically a buddy cop movie as a tv show. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but the tone has changed a lot.
Listen, the moment I realized this show had completely abandoned all sense and hope of realism was when Harper presumably delivered her own baby, cut the umbilical cord, cleaned the baby off and got them all wrapped up and warm and calm ALL WHILE holding a criminal at gun point. This show had some ridiculous moments before that but that was when I realized there was no going back. And you know what I’m fine with that
I love this show, but it all over the place. For some things they go hyper realistic, such as with Nolan's first fatal shooting, but the rest of the time they have this crew getting into more gunfights than Wyatt Earp and tangling with serial killers and shadowy DIA black ops intelligence units. And that's just in the first three seasons.
I find it funny that they actually chat over the radio about lopez husband protector instead calling on the cell instead I'm no cop but that's not stander procedure there
Let’s face the facts here, if Lopez wasn’t pregnant she would totally tackle that woman like she was playing rugby and then drag her outta the house by her hair
The funny thing is not that everyone moved to channel 13, the funniest thing is that Gray heard the whole conversation, looked up the girl on the internet and even agreed with Celina and Harper lol
Yeah. The researchers on this show need to do better. Although women have been able to serve with the SAS after transferring from covert surveillance units since 2018, none has passed the selection process to become a fully-fledged member.
Shows have a set of rules they MUST adhere to, to ensure that the show doesn't feel too realistic. If they put in something unrealistic, such as a woman serving the SAS, then they're following the rules.
I'm pretty sure this group chat thing isn't a normal cop thing, but I have no evidence to form a cojent argument. That being said, these group chats are hilarious, especially when the Sargeant enters the fray.
“Lopez, go to ch. 13”
Entire department: *Went to ch. 13*
“And Lopez, get that woman outta yo house” - Sergeant Grey
Safe to say there aren’t any bad characters in this show all talented and funny😂😂😂
Grey probably looked her up cuz he was legit concerned whether or not she who she said she was, cuz Lopez said they were expecting a guy
😂😂😂 and that too without missing a heartbeat
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lopez coming home guns blazing for her
Dude. Gray was listening the entire time and even googled a photo 🤣🤣
even he was like, "damn" lmao
For good reason, Wesley and Angela were expecting a man to show up
“Get that woman out of your house”
He's their boss and their friend.
What else is he supposed to do sitting behind a desk all day!
I love how Nolan was like "OH REALLY". He tried to pretend to be the adult but the second he had the option, he was immediately like "girl spill the tea"
He may be older than the rest of them but even he can’t resist some juicy gossip
Nolan's reaction is priceless 😂
"Wait seriously?😮😮"😂😂😂
Poor dude: tryna defend the honour of Wesley as he’s not there to do it himself, only to immediately be let down by him.
@@DrewSavogotta love Wesley and Nolan's friendship. They don't have a lot of scenes together, but gotta love the mutual respect for each other.
Gray's final say at the end was beautiful. 😂
That would have been my choice of words too.
I bet Grey just loves listening in on his teams group chat drama. As soon as the all leave, he makes popcorn and waits😂😂
I would kill to see that

I think he does. This is not the only time he gave a badass comment out of nowhere
He's always listening lol
😂😂😂
*Nolan's face when Selina asked what Tim and Lucy were planning for Valentine's Day was like "Did you really ask that?"*
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The fact all of them switched to channel 13 even grey lol
HAhahaha always a fun channel to listen to!
I'm telling you even grey when photo hunting 😂😂😂😂
@@Dash20115 He totally did!!! hahaha
He's sitting in his office, grabbing the radio and turning the dial to 13 knowing he was in for a show
@@Daybreak-Five 😂😂😂😂
I like how even though he switched and listened, he didnt judge and actually gave real peer input. To me, thats part of why Grey is a fantastic Sgt
"and Lopez get that women outta your house" made me laughing.
1:13 That moment when you realize the sarge include himself in the senseless bunch :P
This is my favorite chat they had! It's so hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing!
Closely followed by the group chat when they are all asking Nolan for building/remodelling advice
I wish my job could do the same. We can’t use the radio except for work.
Also the chat about Lopez going back to work after giving birth.
Even their higher up had something to say in the end🤣🤣🤣
0:35 Juarez’s face 😂😂 “I would shut that down so fast”
Pog face lol
I love the fact that Grey was just peaceful listening in until absolutely necessary.
Gray's like these kids are driving me crazy. lol
Especially nolan
@@Loewemon25lol yep
The person sitting in the back of Chen and Branford’s car is just chilling
He is enjoying the group chat!
He is the undercover cop not a criminal so... no reason not to chill
@@mariad_222 ikr I said the exact same thing 🤣🤣🤣🙈
Criminal or not, this is fantastic entertainment. Grab some popcorn, and it's a meal and a show.
She is actually Bradford's sister
One of the best scene’s in the show 😂
Love how they all talk like this naturally while and duty, even Captain Grey gets involved 😂
0:26 In a weird way, I appreciate how unapologetic he is about that.
1:05 I love that the guy they arrested raised his eyebrows when Lopez called Tim out.
The guy is a undercover cop who was working with them on the case
He is actually a fellow cop from another PD but he was definitely smirking over Lopez calling Tim out😂
@@mxgirl918 He and Lucy were in undercover police school for a few months and they did a a couple of cases together.

They're in transit. Seems the best time to do it. Like waiting for an elevator, or any other time.
Try driving around the city for an eight-hour shift sometimes by yourself. Maybe they're cops, but still human beings. Grey just enjoys it even if he won’t admit it.
I've watched this video so many times and it still makes me laugh

Love it when Grey jumps on.
I love how everybody switched to the same channel including Sargent Grey 😂
At the end she revealed herself very usefull 😂 *No spoil*
I was about to say this!! Thank you!! She was very usefull!!
It’s amazing how Lopez’s paranoia nearly cost her.
Damn Sargent you caught me off guard 😂😂😂😂

Oh yeah!
Well it's implied.......
Look at the road 😂
It's always Tim who wants to get back to focusing on work 😂
Nah, they were having an argument
Hey, he ain't innocent, the season before he used the group chat to ask Nolan about fixing up his dad's house
Love how Sgt. Grey was casually listening to everyone chat about Valentines Day and finally spoke when Lucy tried to prevent it
Thankfully the SAS woman did end up saving lives.
The woman who plays Charlie Bristow is a former Miss Great Britain winner and world-renowned model. I'd say she has reason to worry.
I love the private call scenes and that Grey is always listening. Privacy is not a term that exists in his division.
Sounds like the voice of God at the end.

Love how Nolans Rookie instantly put in her two cents
“He’s not as squeaky clean as you think”

"you should be basking in the glow of nEw lOvE-"
i think the thing everyone over looks is the fact that sgt Grey also looked up Charlie Bristol too

Loved this scene can’t wait for the new season
Now that's funny to hear this chat 😅😂
Such a big family moment, that's why i love this show.
Tim better become a dad in season 6. Alls im saying
No, please, stop trying to rush everything. They barely had time to develop as a couple. Season 7 would be OK for that. Season 6 it's too soon.
I find it funny that they actually chat over the radio about lopez husband protector instead calling on the cell instead I'm no cop but that's not stander procedure there

I mean they did switch to a back channel
Who cares if it’s not standard procedure? It was a fun scene.

S/O 2 Sergeant Grey for having the most sense 😂😂😂
Moments like this are the realism in the show
My brother loves this show, and now I see why
Maybe Thorson will eventually have a shot with her now that she's a recurring character.
I understand being secure and happy in your relationship, but damn!
I loved Aarons reaction going all Friday. DAAAAAAAAAAAM
And all that chat was had over teh PA mic for all of Los Angeles to hear

someone should do a completion of funny group chats.
There only two group chats
I love how when one of them switches channels they all do just to hear what’s going on
Anyone: swap to channel (#)
Sgt. Grey: alright, time to listen to whats going on

"a British special forces hotty."

Some real Reno 911 vibes whenever they these group chats.
It would have been hilarious if the guy being arrested would have voiced an opinion, lol!
Agreed.
Whoever took my sparrow, I will find you....
I'm so sick of the "don't trust your partner around an attractive person". If you don't trust the person you're with, don't be with them.
They need an entire unscripted episode like this. One of them gets a prompt and just goes.

Suspension of disbelief is part of the audience contract. Just sayin’.
Just imagine how much gossip there is in there actual group chat.
Every time someone says “ *someone’s name* , go to channel *random channel number* .”, literally everyone goes and connects to the channel
