Actually , when you look at the map of the titan facilities you mentioned, when they build it , the sundering was not yet an event. So I went and check the map before the sundering and the facilities form almost something like a circle around the Well of Eternity (Maelstrom). We could also see another facility be discovered soon enough in my opinion not on the original map (but in an isle across the Veiled or Forbidden seas), as a part of previous speculations that the map we see now is not the full world of Azeroth.
Don't forget that the Sundering ripped apart the Manifold - what also means that the Well of Eternity was most likely the central piece of it to funnel the Titan's arcane energy into Azeroth and that the Legion, led by Sargeras (of course knowing of it) destroyed it and the Manifold for just that reason. They stopped the machine of the Titans from corrupting Azeroth. While ripped apart, the different parts might still be working, though, a dorment machine that is still dangerous and could be used again by anyone who finds and takes control over it - so Sargeras sword might have actually went for the core of the Manifold to destroy it for good.
With regards to the Sword of Sargeras, i'm wondering if, when it was thrust down into the planet, it embedded itself into a shard of this 'calcified worldstuff' (lying under silithus) and thats what caused Azerite? Or that the Sword injured Azeroth in such a way that Azerite acted much like blood cells and flooded weakened areas of the world (hence it being found all over the place) I'm also hoping we see some interaction with Odyn soon too, because he's an active Keeper who should be taking note of the actions of us mortals, especially after being 'mugged' for his storm dragons in DF...

Is it possible that not all titans are created the same? Eonar seems to be a completely different type of titan, and Argus did still have that blue arcane look even tho he was infused with death and fel. Is it possible that Amon'thul is the only pure arcane titan?
There are two known types of titan, the stronger, smarter, more agile Aesir, and the tougher but less powerful Vanir. Aman'Thul, Golganneth and Norgannon are Aesir (platinum-skinned) and Aggramar, Eonar, Khaz'goroth and Sargeras are Vanir (bronze-skinned). I think I read somewhere that there are more titans that are not part of the pantheon but I can't find a source, but Argus is different from the others, maybe he has something to do with Azeroth, who knows
my money is on them creating a story that can last forever. I'm assuming Azeroth is going to have it's soul split into all the different types of influence of magic it has experience. Fel, light, void, arcane etc. And then the story is going to be about reclaiming those parts of Azeroth.
I like to think that Titans used the timelines as a series of trial and error. Each time testing and adding a new facility, ending up being this Manifold, which ensured their victory. Hence why they so keen on saving this one
That's been my theory all along too. Beledar being one of the Light shards that infused planets with life. Could also play a role in why Eonar decided to plant Elun'ahir in the same place. Maybe to either protect or hide Beledar or to infuse Elun'ahir's tree seed with life. (Another thought I had is that Archaedas mentions other crystals like Beledar. Following my previous thought, maybe the other World Trees were also planted in the same places as these other crystals?)
keep in mind that in Greek mithology titans are the bad guys, who's to say that they are not just keeping Azeroth from rising to power, and they are just pretending to be here to help her come into being.....
there are other titan facilities out there that are not included in that map. Also those were built before the sundering, thus the shape of the manafold is currently warped and not its original shape. willing to wager it was a ring with a pentagram so we should be able to find/count a total of at least 10 facilities or junctions of that system.
Going back through all of this, just reminds me how good some of the lore development was during the close of Legion... and our last time seeing Illidan? They have a strong finale to close on this end.
Don't forget about The Strand of the Ancients, there is a Titan facility there & the Path of The Titans goes straight to it. We still know little about it's purpose.
I think Azeroth has something to do with the woldclaimed freysworn in some way. In Dornogol, there is a freysworn that talks about an "additional" edict from their watcher, which is Freya. Maybe Azeroth supplanted it within Freya to pass along to the freysworn as a "protection" against whatever the Titans plan was for the worldsoul.
If you take the map of Azeroth and put it on a sphere (because it is a planet) those 8 points of the titan installations would almost form a cube shape (depending on the distances of each island), almost as if it was forming a cosmic cube around the world soul.
If they did not remake Uldaman yet, they should. Archaedas being such an important figure in the plot while being such an underwhelming boss fight on a really low level dungeon is becoming sillier every expansion.
I honestly hate that azeroth has to be the prime world soul. Being a world soul like every other world soul wouldn't really change the story, or the stakes in any meaningful way. Just a thought, the end of the war within we will finally be rid of xal'atath, however we will still lose and world of warcraft midnight will be the consequences, as a thought comes to mind, an old whisper of il'gynoth, "at the hour of her third death, she usher's in our coming"
I recall also pointing this out in a previous video from a few months ago. Possibly other people have said the same. The head movement is exaggerated and needs to be toned down. Unless it is some kind of "news delivering" technique that I am not aware of.
The titans are becoming more and more evil as new patch comes, while every other forces are becoming more "good". lol. Blizzard acts like the Titans are the biggest dudes you need to overcome when literally EVERY force has beaten them before. The titans at their peak couldn't beat Fel, but when Fel had an opportunity, they wiped the titans out almost permanently. lol The Void, with just their fart, was able to break the mind of the strongest active Titan and scared the titans with their fart alone. The Shadowlands showed that the fall of the titans was originated by Dreadlords, who are mere servants of a single Eternal. Like, have you heard about the Titan minions have that kind of feat? They can't even beat the Old Gods, despite the Titans being present while the Voildlords are absent. The Light is one of the most influential forces in Azeroth that is still active, serving the Light's goals (unlike the dragons aspects who left the titans and the Keepers who are practically dead or inactive), and was able to fight the Legion with better performance despite just being a fraction of what Light has. The Titans completely lost despite being present themselves, they can't even damage Sargeras, lol. Like.... why are the dudes who are losing to everyone being treated as some big bads we need to beat up? Lol.
Pity they were all framed as ridiculous angry psychopaths instead of justifiably indignant victims who had their agency torn away from them. They really got the shitty end of the lore stick.

Great Job. I love this Lore stuff. Now if they could only make this 20th Anniversary patch actually fun that would be great. Blizz laid off too many people I think , This patch feels half cooked.
The gameplay itself needs to be targeted to the low impulse control dopamine adikt crowd, because they're most likely to buy items from the cash shop. That's why it plays that way.
14:16 well that explains it obviously, I’m really enjoying this lore of wow it feels like a return to when the lore was really good, but also by the lore this time around being as good as it is, it makes the lessor expansions imo way better because they are just chapters to this bigger story that I can get behind.
Isn't the next expansion essentially TBC and the one after Wrath? Or at least it feels like it since in Midnight(next expansion) we will return to "Quel'Thalas" and in The Last Titan(the last expansion) we will be returning to Ulduar. If that's true then Sargeras could/should be poping in the next expansion. That of course might lead as you say to him being in the final one or we might get his "full story" next expansion.
You don't get to be redeemed, after tossing near-infinite people from near-infinite worlds into soul engines. If they need his power to succeed, there's a vessel Sargeras once tried to put his essence into before already. Someone that would have the mental strength to fight him as a demon within. Illidan's right there.
interesting, guess we will find out in do time. Honestly I just wanna know what Beladar is 😆 and how it fits in and isnt just some decoration in the roof of Hallowfall.
No fucking way that it has any meaningful lore behind it xD Probably some artist came up with it and they found it so cool, that they said: "Fuck it. Let's keep it. We'll make it fit somehow."
I suspect the Titans did not care for the lives of their creations.. like whenever Azeroth would hatch all of them would die. But I also suspect that as long as Azeroth isn’t corrupted she will very much care for the ones who live on her… you know.. like Hydaelin… cause they probably played FFXIV and really like that idea.
titans and old gods are both extremely boring, same with the dragons and pandas, the only time warcraft lore was good was when it was about the scourge or burning legion.
Nah, Buzzard doesn't have ANY CLUE where the story has to go. They have forgotten everyone that is important in wow, now you can barely count them on your fingers. They won't even pay a mediocre storywriter to help out... they're fff lost and even if they come up with a story for this carcass of a game they'll gatekeep it to shit until 50.1.5 when we're all in our Pension Houses and we're gonna have Mario jumping around Durotar and Cyberpunk 2069 references around Stormwind.
Why do you consume this content to just fucking whinge in every comment lmao. You really got nothing better to do than watch videos about a game you clearly don't even like 😂
it's a dragon. Azeroth is a dragon. With the titans messing with her, I asume she might turn into a half titan-half dragon. Something that might look similar to Sargeras. :)
Let me correct the editor of your thumbnail for the video..... Instead of "What the Titans did on Azeroth" .... It should read "What Dagran believes that Archaedas believes that Khaz'goroth may have believed they were doing on Azeroth" Because it's all unreliable narrator third-hand and fourth-hand point of view...... not actually what the Titans ever said. Until the writers at blizzard actually go open up the Pantheon and let the Titans describe for themselves what they believe and what they are doing and what they hope it will do...... then we don't know any of that.
I am here to tell you: Nobody cares and none of this matters. Microsoft Blizzard is just going to retcon whatever they think doesn't fit later on. I can not get invested in the story for the life of me. Just read a good book. I suggest anything from Brandon Sanderson. Or get into Warhammer 40k Lore. There is more than enough out there to scratch that fantasy /scifi itch. Stop wasting your time with WoW. Especially with the "wOw LoRe". There is no lore. There is no story. It's all incoherent mumbojumbo that will get retconned when they need to sell you some new crap...
Yeah I will definitely listen to a random dude on youtube that is telling me what to do. Most definitely. WH40K lore is pretty dope tho. Just tapped into it this month.

We are the titans!!!! 😂😂
Shift that map and see what it looked like before the sundering.
I wonder if this patch release will get rolled out with a 200.00 dollar mount, they could make the mount able to teleport to all the chainber of the hearts on the fly with no CD
Just a thought, the end of the war within we will finally be rid of xal'atath, however we will still lose and world of warcraft midnight will be the consequences, as a thought comes to mind, an old whisper of il'gynoth, "at the hour of her third death, she usher's in our coming"
You need to tone down the side to side face movement by about 25%. Makes the video seem hokey
The titans at their peak couldn't beat Fel, but when Fel had an opportunity, they wiped the titans out almost permanently. lol
The Void, with just their fart, was able to break the mind of the strongest active Titan and scared the titans with their fart alone.
Lol.
Dragons. Thats it.
Atleast there is a decent chance, that this insanity of a story arc will finally come to a conclusion and we can move on.
Primalists going to war to free Azeroth making more and more sence...
Pity they were all framed as ridiculous angry psychopaths instead of justifiably indignant victims who had their agency torn away from them. They really got the shitty end of the lore stick.
The Titans: " we found the most powerful thing in the universe lets leave some robots to look over it and leave."
ugggh... the more titan lore that gets revealed the lamer it gets. I guess it is at least better than zoval and friends also being robots
Wasn’t that part of the plot since the world soul being a thing?
I'm sure Sargeras betrayal, and him killing them, then imprisioning their essences has NOTHING to do with the fact they never returned.. Yep...
@@Kelzond i meant them separately the lore is lame and also its weird that they left like they were bond villains and just assumed things would proceed as planned
@@josejuanandrade4439 true but then when they are alive again they fucked right back off to where they came from. the old gods at least set up shop and stuck around when they got there
Well.. to be fair real life religions have far worse excuses for the central god or gods decisions.
So interesting!
You really need to pay attention. It was never stated by the recordings that those are shards of light. They are crystalized essence of Azeroth.
But it does act like the light...Especially the part of shifting into void
Neh, the more videos I watch the more bots comments I read.
This feels so forced.
Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
14:16 well that explains it obviously, I’m really enjoying this lore of wow it feels like a return to when the lore was really good, but also by the lore this time around being as good as it is, it makes the lessor expansions imo way better because they are just chapters to this bigger story that I can get behind.
free old gods !!!!!!
Why does he always say "has came" instead of "has come"?
You know why…
If Azeroth was the "prime Titan", whatever the f that means, why would the Titans leave? Seems dumb.
Sargeras redemption arc in the final chapter of the world soul saga. Calling it now.
God I hope not.
Why do the elves not have a better knowledge of the world??? They are so old and they don't know anything?? This is very weird.
They have what they believe and that's enough for them
Bot city
interesting, guess we will find out in do time. Honestly I just wanna know what Beladar is 😆 and how it fits in and isnt just some decoration in the roof of Hallowfall.
No fucking way that it has any meaningful lore behind it xD
Probably some artist came up with it and they found it so cool, that they said: "Fuck it. Let's keep it. We'll make it fit somehow."
what if azeroth created the universe and shoots it's light crystals out to create life? Hence why controlling azeroth is akin to destroying the cosmos
Do people actually care about titans?
I have never cared. It’s always been the weakest part of wow lore to me
titans and old gods are both extremely boring, same with the dragons and pandas, the only time warcraft lore was good was when it was about the scourge or burning legion.
They're somewhat based on the Viking Aesir Gods. Most of the WoW Lore is either directly or indirectly related to them.
Manifold
Thats why I want the Void to win.
You're lost.
5:09 isn’t this debate moot at this point. It was the egg and then one day a dinosaur wasn’t hatched 🐣
Lmao Dagran what a nerd.
What can be unburdened by what has been possibly
Let me correct the editor of your thumbnail for the video.....
Instead of "What the Titans did on Azeroth" ....
It should read "What Dagran believes that Archaedas believes that Khaz'goroth may have believed they were doing on Azeroth"
Because it's all unreliable narrator third-hand and fourth-hand point of view...... not actually what the Titans ever said.
Just tapped into it this month.
you're a little late on this one bud
The world building and storytelling through the world is insanely good. But the gameplay is buggy af and the progression system is fucked up. They really managed to misshape this gem of a game.
