The first PPF job looked like either a diy job, or else someone was using scrap pieces or was too damn cheap to sacrifice full sheets.

Lol. It would seem that way, but unfortunately the previous film on the car was a genuine Xpel pre-cut kit done by a Certified installer contracted by the Dealership. The previous pre-cut hood was designed in multiple pieces because it is difficult for most to do it with a single sheet. Unfortunately the car owner had to bare with the initial PPF installation because it was pre-packed on the car by the dealership.
