I really wish we could toggle a radio's listening and transmitting mode separately. One possible application would be giving a Sec radio to an undercover officer, or generally planting sec radios, so that Sec could be made aware if someone is talking near a known hotspot. Next level sting operations, I tell you. We'd most definitely need custom handheld radio channels, and separate listen/transmit/both modes for radios for it to work, but man it would be cool.

I'm glad to see limb targeting be introduced into 14, when I started playing 13 a decade or so ago. It was the mechanic that made me interested in the game. Plus, antagonist surgeons are very funny.
I've already seen someone remove the mime's legs, and open their chest to put a living mouse in there. The mouse may have been wriggling out of their hands and screaming, but that didn't stop the doctor. Nothing says "This is how I lost my medical license" like dragging around a legless mime while a living mouse attacks them from the inside desperately struggling to escape from their chest.
@@blackmimic3522 Recently they had a massive admin exodus, all three head admins stepped down with a public letter stating their greviances (internal drama, exploitation, zero protection from ban evasion), and half the normal admins left with them. And people are just generally tired of the way PRs are handled; if there's an issue with a feature, the first response is to remove it, instead of fixing it or at least waiting until a replacement feature is in place. Good examples of that are vehicles, spacing damage, the salvage shuttle etc. Down stream servers are getting new features like surgery and ATM machines while Wizden just feels like it's getting smaller each month.
i might be wrong but it feels like the patients take poison damage if you arent using the correct gear, like nitrile gloves and such. oh also skeletons can take poison damage from surgery
Goob MRP stopped existing but its code used to be extremely similar to DeltaV opposed to Goob LRP. Also, poison damage comes based on your PPE, more poison damage if you have no gloves, way less poison if you have Nitrile gloves.

Almost immediately, I and another mouse were yoinked off the floor, and inserted into the chest of a goo person, who then decided to spend the entire shift collecting rodents to add to their collection. Surgery is a good update.
I've recently started playing on goob and been impressed by all the new content they have managed to add. Really cool to see a SS14 server with limb targeting finally implemented and I can't wait to see all the possible outcomes from it. I would love to see different interactions happen based on what you have select when you use the execute option.
I think there was a server code called shitmed that allowed targeting of limbs, but the only station I saw it on was sindicate station and it shut down! Also it was incredibly bugged making you unable to see people and sometimes making you able to see through walls! It was a hot mess!
Now i'm wondering how feasible it would be to covertly replace someone's brain. Like imagine teaming up with a traitor, the captain just so happens to be in medical after a serious injury, and you swap their brain with that of your fellow traitor. Does the resultant body still show the original captain's name? Would the traitor still have their objectives now in the Captain's body?

I might get back to this game (i have only 3 hours at ss14, lol) also its a bit weird to se, you stab a right leg, but he got whole body are messed into blood mess... And also, damage should be rebalanced, you can't kill someone just stabbing him on arm, yea. He will fall, but fall from pain, and die from blood loss, not just from damage... Is gonna be funny to see that a man fall on crit just because you git his... Foot, lol. Also damage from Rimeworld with some mods(for realistic damage when you dont die from losing an arm) are goot example, of that thr people dont fall just losing arm or leg.
