I’m not a fan of FNC, but I still wouldn’t mind seeing perkz on it just from an entertainment standpoint, I think the G2 vs FNC games will be so much fun to watch and both teams will have a great shot at worlds. Will be a good time either way

Caps is too nice actually, he would leave G2..not Perkz. He voluntarily switched to adc because Perkz wasn't happy. Caps is a great teammate.
He actually will leave in a heartbeat if he thought he can't win worlds with the team thats what happened to FNC
@@xanderstyles8473 no. If you know anything about the scene, you’d know that caps leaving fnatic is much more ahout fnatic not having enough money. Do you think it is a coincidence that quite literally every major player has left the team voluntarily except for rekkles? Xpeke, febiven, yellowstar, broxah, soaz, caps, huni, reignover, the list goes on. Fnatic has NEVER been an org with tons of cash, even in other games like csgo. They have great teams, yes, but its almost always cheaper players. Why do you think there are hyli bwipo rumors? They both are getting huhe offers that fnc cant match. Caps left because fnstic cannot pay him the amnt he commanded.

It’s so hard for me to see Perkz elsewhere, much like Bjerg. I’m not sure I’d WANT to see something else. However, it would be interesting to see.

This is so difficult for G2, do you let EU's best player (Caps) leave from your team? Or do you let go of a legend, the guy who made the org what it is today, and one of the EU's greatest players of all time (Perkz)?

If G2 stays with this roster. I would like to see them be more aggressive and proactive in the early game. For the past 2 years G2 has been beat early game. Last year FPX slam them in the first 15 minutes. This year Canyon had so much pressure with beryl roaming. One positive thing is Caps roam had been a lot better.

@@Kikels I think its more both years G2 has opted NOT to play around Jungle but to play around Caps. They also lost their innovative era which they managed to win MSI with. I think G2 when they do crazy things thats when they thrive the most. Wunder and Caps can prob play any champion in the game on a world lvl , problem is Perkz normally can only play 2 champs a year to that standard.
Last year it was Xaya all the way, this year it was Jhin and Ezreal (his ashe was okay aswell)
Its more of jankos getting outclassed by the junglers enemy team. Tian and canyon were on another level. Plus beryl and canyon have a high supp jungle synergy that g2 doesnt even have. Those two teams have a better playstyle on their respective worlds run.
Even sofm outclassed jankos in their group stage. Tian sofm and canyon outclassed jankos. its no use if jankos is getting outsmarted by the opponents jg. So your suggestions is not really that helpful.🙃
Didn't all of g2 resign for 3 years earlier this year? How is perkz a free agent I could have sworn they all resigned earlier this year.
You are correct that Perkz's contract doesn't expire until 2022 so he isn't technically a free agent. Were he to move to Fnatic (or any other team) it would be a buy-out.

Rumor is Perkz has spoken out and it is known he HATES being ADC and rumor is he said I want to be mid again making it be a choice caps or perkz.

rumors said that team/coaching staff wants caps mid, Ocelote wants to keep perkz.. Not sure if its 100% true but i have seen it a few times now.
@@GRANNYSwild of course they want caps he is the better player and g2 can't give up perkz as he is a franchise player similar to reckless and if fnc get caps there mid jungle 2v2 will be easy top 3 in the world with a super stable adc and roaming support they will have a real chance to win worlds tbh

Perkz is the kind of person who does not say: "Caps you must leave I want back on mid lane.". He is a cool guy. That's why Caps play on AD for half of the split. He thought Perkz don't like AD more but didn't want to say it. Perkz and Caps are great players but in my opinion, G2 is Perkz!
Perkz is a more valuable player. He is the face of G2 but I see more arguments that why he should stay and back on mid lane:
Perkz is a more vocal player (Jankos mentioned it)
He is better 2vs2 with Jankos than Caps
Bigger champion pool (He played tanks, supports ad & ap).
In 2018 he was better mid than Caps (They said it)
He has big brain ideas like a funnel, played weird stuff with Jankos, "ult Alistar behind" etc
He is a true captain
He can sacrifice for the team
with Rekkles, G2 can be like 2018 IG so trade Caps for him
C9 sell Licorice and Nisqy to TSM and give Perks the largest contact for a western player ever.
If Perkz wants to win worlds, which I beleive he does, he won´t go to NA

Jack is going to spend any amount money, there is no question about it after he offered Caps pretty much blank cheque. The question is whether Perkz is ready to give up his chance to compete internationally just yet.

@@lotusshadow2473 The player comes up with their own salary. They send the player a blank check with just the signature of who’s paying but no amount, so the player can fill in whatever they want. A realistic number

@@lotusshadow2473 It means that you are given a cheque and you write a number you want. Jack said that Caps told him that it does not matter how big amount of money he would throw at him to get him. He was simply just not interested in going to NA at all because he felt like he would never be able to compete internationally.

That would be so op, Caps and Selfmade looks nasty, i don't think G2 will allow that, I think we can all agree Caps is the best midlaner in LEC for sure, Perkz is good but it's not better then Caps. And i think Caps will not go To NA, if he does, he will never get Worlds title, just no way

I love Perkz but saying he is a Top 5 Mid in the World is a Stretch. If I had to make a list Perkz would probably be at the bottom of a Top 10 list. Which is no disrespect he still is great! He just isn't on the level of Chovy, Showmaker, Rookie, Knight, Faker, and maybe I could argue for Bdd even Doinb but top 5 he just wouldn't sniff it for me rn. Like Emily says unless a Chinese team is knocking he probably is staying put.

He literally destroyed 2 Chinese teams while being mid (WE Xiye 2017) and (RNG Xiaohu 2018)...

Besides he hasn't played Mid for a split and it is not like he was killing LEC teams or something for that split when he went back. He was just very consistent which is what he always has been! He is a smart player! I'm just more on the top 5 part I do personally believe there is a tier above him and that is Chovy, Showmaker, Rookie, Knight and Faker. I would put Caps in there but there are times when I think if Caps had to play Perkz again I think he would be better than him. 😅😬

No respect to this Tyler! It's ok to have fun and speculate, but there is way better way of doing it then this guys does it. He first makes it sound like something IS happening, then in the end it turns out it's really just him having fun with empty rumors and it's he who wants it to be true just for his wish to see a Caps vs Perkz. It's low how it's presented, and I wish I could block this guy but not Emily who is actually serious.
What I can't stand is that he focuses purely on the NA angle and overplays how much NA is value'd so much. Emily rightly points out that if Perkz wants to compete he has to go to Fnatic if he leaves G2 (apart from joining an LPL or LCK team). What is Tyler's reaction, well no he can also join C9. Like bro are you for real, Rekkles and Hillysang were the best performing bot lane at worlds, Selfmade is an insane jungler, every year Fnatic competed for the LEC tittle and upsets teams at worlds, and you think C9 could match that? Even pound for pound C9 can't match Fnatic in a single role.
Let emily speak with someone else, or bring him on for NA shows only where his echo chamber willl praise him, but don't let him talk about a reall region and reall teams.
1) They both state on several occasions that it's just speculative and based on soft rumours
2) It's an American show so of course it will lend a North American perspective. I'm as diehard of an EU fan as you can get, but to expect every analyst to be fully unbiased and neutral is incredibly self-entitled and reductive. On-air media personalities are auspicious to our sport as a whole, and dampening said personalities dilutes its outreach and entertainment factor
With Jankos they will never win Worlds he is not internationally one of the best jg's I know that meta iwas not on his side but simply other jg from LPL and LCK are one step above him and thats the difference.
Then go play for G2.

They have been playing the carry jg meta since the start of summer while EU was playing sett and volibear
And G2 were never the team that would play around Jankos, they have always played through Caps and thats why it seems Jankos has been outclassed
Ik that Canyon and SOFM were better than him but he is not the reason that G2 hasnt won Worlds yet. All the players from G2 get enabled by him thats why he is so valuable

@@akvaristika8153 higher than Top 5 I don’t think so, top 10 you can argue that, but just with the semifinal teams in worlds and chovy, you already have the top 5, but there are better mids that didn’t even come to worlds, so even the top 10 is questionable

Top 10 for sure. And when he played mid during the split the 2v2 was much stronger. So yeah I think You could make an argument about him being top5. But obviously it's nothing but speculation. However I love his leblanc.

@@EliteFinisher He's not 100% wrong. He's clearly over the top but even with mikyx (one of the best support at the world championship). G2's botlane was still very weak and it's entirely because of perkz. Perkz is one of, if not the best eu player, but he's still a very underwhelming adc. And mostly a Xayah, kai'sa,syndra otp.

@@oussamarezzouk9869 At world ? No. In the top 8 ? Yes probably. I really can’t think of a worse adc. Especially considering how good mikyx played. But he had a lot of problems this year. So let’s hope he gets better next year. Or they free caps and he goes back to fnc. Perkz/Jankos would be so godlike especially considering how much jankos stepped up. It would make Fnc much stronger and hopefully the other lec teams will follow. Mad just needs a better top/jg and rogue just a better top.
I don’t understand why they didn’t spend the money for alphari. The problem is Eu always had jg problems. So I have no idea what they should sign if they wanted a chance to compete. Same goes for MAD
