Only AK, MP5 and Uzi allowed, AK is by far most common for promod.

Are y'all forced to use AKs or is it just the meta to use them, and you can use anything you want?
1 scope and 2 smgs per team. AK is the best choice AR, 74u for smg and scope is just preference.
The list of available weapons is longer but yeah it is preferred to use aks.

I don't get what's 'pro' about ProMod - crosshair on, can't cook nades, health re-gen. Coming from OpenWarefare/Tactical, it seems more like arcade mode. Not to mention the rules on wallspamming, blind nades, bunnyhopping etc and especially ghosting.
Not sure if you're trolling but Call of duty is an arcade shooter. Realism =/= Pro
@@WorkTheSpace Well like I said, I mostly play OpenWarefare, which is a tactical realism mod - you jump from too high, you break your ankle. I don't get why nade cooking is disabled, the choice between a quick throw vs taking the time to cook it and cooking it for the right time is a legit skill. Ditto hip firing, the crosshair is straight out of softcore, it just seems like a weird choice for a 'pro' mod.

Pro fps players come from arena fps such as quake, ut99 etc... and they evolved in scenes such as cod4 promod, css and csgo. Pro fps have less random factor possible so that actual brainplay and reflexes are the only real skills involved (that are the actual primordial skills in every fps related game) dealing with realism is not a skill, mastering strafing or bhopping or rocketjumping depending on the game... well that's real skill, try it yourself and try playing against teams that have mastered those mechanics and you'll understand why actual pro fps players play such games instead of arma for example
