word to the wise: while it seems like a good idea, greasing the bottom bracket spindles on a square taper bottom bracket can cause issues with chain line (pretty important on fixie) and the health of your crank arms. Basically it can cause the crank arms to be pushed on a few extra mm than they're supposed to, and it can actually enlarge the square slot in your crank arms, especially with softer alloys. This is a mistake I made, and from then on I had to buy slightly wider bottom brackets than spec, and the crank arms, while not "damaged" I would certainly consider worn. Sidenote: since I stopped greasing the spindles I have never had any clicking sounds or seizing issues from that area, probably because it's torqued down so tight, the contact point is so simple/strong and there are no threads.

@@Davidbrompton58 As long as the wheelset's construction follows a design where the hubs are not wider than the outer rim and has less spokes supporting the rims... The lateral load is going to significantly flex the wheels laterally with ease... Its simple physics.
