Don't compare aviation with High Speed Rail specially with Bullet Trains. Thats a rubbish comparison. 1. Aviation is an A to B transport and it needs a minimum 500km range to make it viable, while bullet trains can serve well for destinations within 500kms range with multiple stops in between 2. Multiple stops of bullet trains will bring tremendous economic activity for all such local centers where bullet trains have halts along the route 3. HIgh speed trains reduces the travel time not just between the start and final destination points but it interconnects in between points within a short span of time, thus bringing the whole 250 to 500 km range of an area to a single economic hub 4. Flights are good for long distance but for 500 km range it cannot replace a high speed train as flights require to comply with lot of check lists, security compliance before take off and even in flight it takes at least 15 mts to attain cruise speed and it takes another 45 minutes to land irrespective of the distance. When you add up the time taken for security and baggage clearance, it will take 3 hours for just a few hundred people to cover a distance of just 250 kms 5. Aviation is not a mass transport. Bullet train is a Mass transport, shifting 1000s of people not just between A to B but also to points between A and B Talking rubbish in sophisticated voice is just rubbish at the end of the day. Please come prepared when you do such presentations.
Aviation sector can't compete with fast train in densly populated country like india ,china and japan. We need it.we were lacking in 3g infrastructure it doesn't mean we doesn't need 4g and 5g infra. Japan is very protective with their bullet train technology and their price is quite high. This is the reason most countries don’t use their technology. Spare parts are also quite expensive and have to be imported. This is the reason China developed their own technology.

About 3 to 4 hours total extra time required for air travel. Hence comparing rates ignoring extra time to and fro journey time to airport is not wise

Aviation does not cover all parts of the country - also a flight can take 180 passengers while a train can take 10 times more. Also someone who wants to travel from Daman, Vapi or smaller cities does not have option of flight or flights are very limited and hence expensive. We need high speed rail but probably bullet train is overkill. We need 180-200km vande bharat train that stops once every 100-150 km and slower feeder trains running alongside covering individual stations between those 100-150 km high speed stations.

I am bound to reach before 2 hours and flight time suppose 1and half hour that means total 3.5hours now waiting atbelt for luggage you took minimum 30 to 40minutes now this means that approx.4to 5 hours minimum now the distance between jammu to dehli appox. 600miles that mean bullet take app. 3 hours now time saving if I want to my home the same that very much possible dear
