When you showed that the opponent's team could be seen any time, my first thought was "well Zoroark is useless now" but then I remembered Let's Go is pretty much just Gen 1.
Also, interested in the return to Gen 1 and 2's mechanic of being able to max everything out.

It really isn't. It's pretty for sure but it has no strategy to it and lacks content. Pretty much done for the Pokemon Go crowd who aren't used to games outside of mobile.

Yeah it's basically one step ahead (better graphics, bringing Pokemon on home console) and ten steps back.
Seems that Lets Go doesn't get a lot of love but to be honest I can see why. Other than the graphics it doesn't have much.

vikett there's no such thing as a 6+ weakness, only singular or 2+ or 4+. MOST of the Pokemon you put are not terrible in battle, tyranitar has a 4+ weakness, so does Garchomp, I know these are your opinions but can you at least mention if it is? Also Pimpinite has already done a 4x weakness battle team soooooo...
Also Articuno, Celebi and Rypieror all are good in battles even if they have a 4x weakness, the use of the word TERRIBLE perfectly describe the amount of research you've done for this comment (not saying you should research what to comment, I mean to know what you are going to comment is true or not going to offend anyone accidentally.
There seems to bee a misunderstanding here. I meant that pokémon like Abomasnow have MORE than six weaknesses not that it's 6× weak to a type.

For the Meltan sweep, use your other pokemon to trap in, paralyze and accuracy drop the first opposing pokemon, then set up on an absolute max stat Meltan.

My opinion on let's go is eh, it looks like a beautiful game, but since it lacks a lot of things that make pokemon joyful for me, I'm not going to waste money on it, since the mechanics appeal more to children, which is pokemons main demographic, so, ya, that's my opinion

How did you get Melmetal? Let alone THREE of them?!
If you transfer Pokemon from Go to LGPE, you get an item in your Go game that spawns Meltan near you, which you can then transfer from Go back into LGPE once you catch them.
Yeah, but you need 400 candy to evolve a single Meltan into Melmetal. And the box that spawns Meltan has to recharge so yeah.
He had a lot of rare candies from Go and had help for the others

QOOD: Ity's fun for what it is, as someone who has played it. People who are expecting to get a challenging and competitive experience out of it should stick to US/UM because that's not what it is (As Gamefreak made EXPLICITLY clear thought the game's marketing). It's a nostalgic and cute timekiller and its absolutely worth the money to people who just want a relaxed experience. However, if you're a competitive player or someone who likes challenging runs, I wouln't touch it with a 40 foot pole.

Wait, EVs aren't a thing either? Does that mean no more dedicated roles for each Pokemon since they can have perfect everything now? That was one of my favorite things about the metagame.

Lol bro I'm definitely gonna call it meltan from now on 😂. I personally think it sounds better.
My opinion on the game and that's coming from a not played yet perspective.
I like the look of it. I like the idea of not having random encounters and to see which pokemon are around so you don't run into 27 ratatas if you are looking for a specific pokemon.
The catching mechanic well i am a bit sceptical about it but it's hard to judge by just watching a video how hard it really is and how responsive the controls are.
The limitation to the first 151 doesn't really surprise or bother me too much because they had to start somewhere on a new system. Also i find the prospect of finally being really able to "catch 'em all" rather intriguing. Sure it would be nice to have something like gen 2 appear in the aftergame (ORAS like) but think about it Sun/Moon has all the pokemon in the dex but to really get them all you would have to jump through so many hoops it's not really going to happen.
The simplified battle mechanics well that seems is a bit of a split effort. On one hand I like the idea of not having to breed 53 bulbasaurs until you get one with passable IVs the AVs on the other hand seem to limit the diversity of different sets.
All in all it seems to me like a good effort for an Gen1 remake/spinoff. I guess I will buy it rather soon than later but it's nothing I'd wait in a line for.

I think gen 8 may allow us to transfer Meltan from Pokemon Go. Yet I have to get a Switch. This game looks like a fun Pokemon AU. Yet I hope hope gen 8 has some elements from let's go. Pokemon in the Overworld and the chance to battle a Pokemon under a time limit before catching it via Let's Go style. Once a Pokemon faints is when. Trainers could catch a Pokemon.
