As a drag queen whose very reason for living is to make witty and tastefully suggestive commentary, I must admit resisting the temptation to make an off-color joke building on both comments above is simply _torturous._
You know, I can see how it would have been a dance for two men. Those kicks were so impressive. I don't think the same effect would have happened if a woman was doing the kick. The dress would have taken away from the visual of the kick. Maybe not in today's time and dress code, but way back the code would have been more restricted and the kick wouldn't have been noticed as much.
Very strange to watch at first, however, so easy to lose oneself watching how beautiful these two dance together. The execution was impeccable! Absolutely mesmerizing and beautiful
Look up the video "Two guys dancing El Tango de Roxanne redubbed". Unfortunately, the video itself is poor quality but the dancing is not. You won't regret it! (The "follower" in that video is the smaller guy here, but I've never found out who the leader is)

I got a Paso Doble vibe from this phenomenal dance routine. Both of the dancers are so wonderful to watch and are perfectly matched. The foot and legwork! The head and neck. Bravo.

First time I’ve seen a tango with two men, and it’s really interesting. I only had one tango lesson, but you quickly learn how much coordination is necessary for the couple. Much of the time you are walking as if you are one person. That was difficult to grasp in my one lesson. These two are so well coordinated, and also both very powerful. Hope someone recognizes them. It would be nice to know.
