In case anyone's wondering what the techies is doing is binding his ulti to the scroll wheel - then when you leap in you just spin the scroll wheel and wiggle your mouse around where you want all three mines to be - because the mines are instant cast you can get all 3 out really fast.

He might be doing that, but that's not at all the reason it's so fast. It's queued while he's jumping. It's literally tick perfect because of that. With out that and only using scroll isn't tick perfect

During the cast animation of techies jump, he can cast bombs and if he plays them perfectly, they will literally be tick perfectly placed. Think of tinker, he can cast laser and queue up blink rearm and both will be instant. Same thing with techies

techies is using mouse scroll for quick-cast button for proximity mines that's how he can place mines very fast. Same as that techies official tutorial guide video. the same I am using when playing techies in pubs
