This is insanely cool, man! GG. I struggled with completing the game on Rage Mode, but did it yesterday. This gameplay though, looks like it is a whole different planet :D
Aw.... Jorvik Castle... A lavish place, surrounded by a amazing landscape and filled with the warm hospitality of crazed cultists (a.k.a the british) and hideous beauty of cute bloodthirsty monsters... The perfect place to visit on vacation.
It's funny cause despite not yet starting this game (hoping to tomorrow), I've read so much about how hard Rage Mode is, but to see someone do it deathless and make it look like the easiest thing in the world is wild lol. You've got skills.
Some of those slide dodges were literally psychic, I swear in one of the library rooms you heard them throw a fire vial from like 40m away and dodged it the instant before it landed
People are asking if horizon or syndicate are worse, its a funny question because the person who founded horizon was made from the syndicate just to make horizon.
or, rather, he was assisted by another guy, who, unsurprisingly, had some machiavellian features, as well as some... psychopatic. (human experiments, corporate schemes etc.)
Yeah Horizon may fail to keep their SCP’s contained but the Syndicate has had multiple John Wick mfs and Jeff Bezos super geniuses go rogue too so they’re not much better in that aspect either
man, videos like this make rage mode seem easy when you know how to really play the game. Almost tempts me to go for it, until I remember that I struggled on my first-playthrough Very Hard run, god knows how well I'd fair on Extreme, let alone Rage. (then again, it was my first time playthrough, repeat playthroughs do tend to get easier with successive completions) Anyways, this is still super impressive! Definitely gonna be watching more of your clears whenever I get back into Trepang2, after my new PC is complete.
Rage mode does feel easy at times. You know, you're sliding around, strategically using abilities and controlling the battlefield overall. Life is good. Then, you get one-tapped by a dude with a shotgun from across the level and remember why it's called "rage" mode :D
Makes you wonder who is the real evil, Horizon or Task Force 2-7, alot says that Horizon do have some qualities as good guys and bad guys, but Task Force 2-7 (beign Syndicate lackeys) just used 106 for their own agenda to bring down Horizon and be top dogs, after it was done they decided to put 106 to the fire and create newer supposed to be superior clones (107 and then so). I dunno but i think 106 is on the wrong side the whole time, and Lazar do said that 106 was never meant to be a weapon.
They're both equally bad, Spent the whole Campaign witnessing all of Horizon's Atrocities while getting hints of the Syndicate's Ulterior Motives, 106 was essentially going through the same thing most of Horizon's Employees went through, having no idea of all the inhumane things they were doing and as soon as it came out, most quit. 106 would just later find out the truth about who he works for himself.
@@HunterMKnight TF27 seems a Hypocrite doing the classic "Pot meets Kettle" act. Horizon TBH if the bits of lore and info are to be taken as fully Canon, do give some light that Horizon IS DOING what they seek to do, that's Improve Human Life. The problem part is exactly HOW those advances and improvements are being done and just how absurdly costly they're, not to say of the dime a dozen World Ending messes some of their projects are prone to be. So it's more of an Evil vs Evil scenario, neither side is in the right, which basically makes this feud be what the SCP foundation worldbuilding lore makes of the butting heads between the SCP and GOC is (One seeks absolutely to merely contain and seek ways to find potential beneficial roles for SCPs, whereas the other sees SCPs entirelly as dangerous hazards you either don't even try anything to it or go exterminatus at it). To me: Horizon has just a bit of grey in their shit, while TF27 sole grace is that with 106's help, they do manage to keep the fiascos from Horizon contained (aka stop the disaster from truly going world ending levels), but that is minimal when you consider how they treat their "Cycles" such as 106. Or basically, Horizon is F'ed up, but they did give good results, still they need to be destroyed, while TF27 is the evil altogether.
Horizon is doing bad things for the sake of progress and to better humanity through their anomalous research, the Syndicate is doing bad things because they want indisputable power. Now the Jorvik cult, they're the objective good guys and they never did anything wrong, even the cannibalism was necessary. Bless the Patriarch, hallowed be his name.
There's no "good guys". Both sides kill hundreds of people for benefit, both sides perform forbidden researches in gene modification. Only difference is that the Syndicate is a better manipulator, while Horizon is better at business and propaganda
Just wanna say mad respect! I saw all your videos and after doing this mode myself,GODDAMN how are you so good bro? This mission took me 4 hours and I almost gave up 😂 A real gamer right here I know one when I see one. Keep up the good work
@@All_Mighty672 I got through it,and it was fun but bruh I almost went insane this was the worst mission 🤣 the amount of times I died on the stair section right before the patriarch was not real lol you woulda laughed your ass off 🤦🏿♂️
I found another way to beat the enforcer and it’s pretty cheesy, just equip the bayonets for the mini gun and there you go! He’ll just become one of those inflatables found at some car sale.
It depends. The side missions I could do in 1-4 tries. The main missions usually require 15+ tries. (Except for Site 83, which I managed on the first try)
I dead ass was stuck for a hole 2 hours on one of the server hacking side missions (not the complex one) on very hard just because the arena gets full of enemies by the end of the mission
Not that hard, I beat him on Extreme, just be sure to grab dual weld dragons breath shotguns and cheese him with active camo suprise attacks, then run away and repeat, it melts him.
Get real familiar with sliding around too - makes things significantly easier to avoid getting chewed up by bullets and the golem that spawns in. Didn't find out until the very end of the game that I could literally slide backwards and that would've made most of the levels a cakewalk.
oh my god i fucking beat him on rage mode while i was dead i literally stuck him with the bolt launcher then died before they detonated and to my surprise the damage still counted and he died this is literally divine intervention
I noticed that you were shooting the minigun in the air and hitting the enforcer which tells me that ADS was on. That's now considerd a cheat enabled on the latest patch. A complete playthrough with no cheats enabled on Rage Mode is very hard on the latest patch. (August 24 2024 Patch)
Gonna try to attempt this cause I want to get the patriarch soul weapon wrap. (I am going to spend 60 hours beating this one mission) Edit: I’m stuck on the one part right before the patriarch fight where you have to kill the cultists in the burning library, god it’s so hard cause there’s no room to dodge
I just don’t understand how you get past all the special ops enemies the ones that wear the red NVG. They are so annoying to deal with because they are super accurate.
I dreaded doing this mission on Rage Mode cause of how long it was so I left it for 2nd to last (Horizon HQ being last) and honestly, only bit that gave me any trouble was the Enforcer, otherwise this was a not so easy mission
Question, what are you doing to make your sniper aiming not super-sensitive? I can't find a setting for it, and it basically makes DMRs impossible to use because the ADS sens is just so high..
I did play that beginning scene quite a few times so I knew where/how much to flick to the next enemy. And then using Focus to make smaller adjustments.
This level respectfully kicked my ass in a couple spots on extreme (flesh golem fight till i learned to predict it, burning stairway, patriarch fight) so idk how i'll manage on rage mode. So far my only experiences with the mode is the intro mission, oil rig, and iron dragon. Latter of which I wasn't able to beat.
@@All_Mighty672 its easy with the most broken gun in the game man... Try a challenge of only unmoded pistol (or whatever is the worst gun) I'd say melee only but thats virtually impossible. (and would have to exclude the mini boss cuz i dont think he can be melee'd
