Trevor and Anna, Nova Scotia is certainly beautiful, full of surprising, unique places like the Bay of Fundi. It was a dream of mine to travel up the New England coast into Nova Scotia, but, alas, I didn't have the funds and time (at the same time) to do so. Something always hindered the dream. But, at least I'm getting an armchair view from your vlog. Thank you.
I've never seen that area before in Nova Scotia, it's so full of interesting things to see and places to visit. I hope you get the stabling components of your camper fixed soon to avoid future problems. Your camper looks so tidy/cozy and glad you have a vehicle to go exploring. I'm looking forward to more of your fun and interesting travels.
As kids, we used to clam dig as Five Islands at low tide. The clay mud can really stain your shoes and clothes, but it the clay enriches the waters and adds to the diverse ecology and marine life of the Bay of Fundy, which is now designated a special UNESCO site.

Joggins beach at low tide allows you to see lots of fossils, more all the time due to erosion from the extreme tides. Informative fossil museum is on site, too. Worth a visit at low tide.Get there from Amherst to save time.

Glad you got an RV and are showing us more of Nova Scotia. Road trips are the way to actually see places. So much beauty off the beaten path! Though the majesty of the Canadian Rockies moved me to tears, it was in Saskatchewan (!), around Lake Superior and the Georgian Bay, in New Brunswick and in Nova Scotia (toured it twice😊) where I felt I found the soul of Canada. Such a nice surprise this glimpse of Tatamagouche (best steamed mussels ever in that railway dining car 😋)! Hope to virtually revisit places and discover new ones thanks to you! 🙏

I recommend visiting Great Village antiques, a stop to walk the quaint but lovely War memorial gardens in the village of Bass River, The Dutchman's Cheese hiking trails, gardens, animal petting farm and cheese shop, before continuing on to Five Islands. Also to visit is Partridge Island, the quaint town Parrsboro with its beautiful bed and breakfast and art community, with a stop at the Spencer's Point lighthouse and beach. Also visit the magnificent cliffs of the Cape d'Or lighthouse and scenic Advocate Harbour. There is a small but terrific museum along the route that describes the history of ship building in the area well worth visiting. Reserve a table at the Wild Caraway, an historic home/ restaurant/ inn in Avocate Harbour, for a top notch dining experience offering rotating menu choices from their freshly grown produce as well ingredients that area locally caught and raised, all freshly prepared.
Donair sauce is made with evaporated milk, vinegar and sugar. You can make it as well with condensed milk, but most places use evaporated milk. I find the condensed milk is much sweeter. Love your videos of our home of Nova Scotia and your new transportation.

Oh wow.. what an adventure from AUS 🇦🇺 🤙 Definitely visit Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester, Halifax, Wolfville (for the wine... oh the wine), Tata and 100% Cape Breton. The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton is like nothing on this planet. Inverness, Port Hood, Cheticamp, Ingonish and Baddeck are stunning. Eat all the Garlic fingers, drink a Bloody Caesar, try some Maple Syrup and you'll drool over our Seafood. I'm biased I know 😉 But, it's the people that make ALL of the Maritimes extra special 😀 - Trevor
We are lucky to have so many hidden gems. We just got back to HRM from a day trip down to Shelburne. Some gorgeous scenery along the South Shore. We always tell folks you need at least two weeks to see Nova Scotia properly :-)
Those are the highest tide rise and fall in the world, where I’m from in England, along the Bristol Channel we have the second biggest. It is a crazy thing to see

I used to want to visit wineries, but I can't drink wine anymore. Get terrible headaches. Mmmmm, garlic fingers and, I guessed it, donair sauce. Looks so good! That place where the trains are, so cute! We walked the boardwalk in Digby (small but so cute!) for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I'd love to stay there in one of the hotels on the water. So cute! Great video guys!!
Welcome to my neck of the woods. There is a really nice walking trail very close to Parrsboro going to Ward Falls. It is definitely worth a visit. You would have driven past my in-laws' house on your way to Jost. If you happen to be passing through Moncton on your travels, there are some surprisingly good restaurants there. We often go to there if we want a nice meal, since there is very little in Cumberland County that is more interesting than a diner. My three favourites are: 1) Mansu BBQ (Korean) 2) Cinta Ria (Malaysian) 3) India King (Indian - who'd have thunk?)
LOL, I have to say that the longest time I spent in that area was for about 12 weeks in a place called Cornwallis. Way back when the military did their training there. I sadly never got back, and well, now I'm in Europe and will probably... sadly, never get back to that area in Canada.
Great vlog, as always! Those mud flats look so interesting! One thing to note though. I have seen vlogs of people walking around the mud flats at Mont St. Michel in France, and warning viewers there could be quicksand. Not sure if that is the case here, but should be noted.

The day after Canada opened the border, we drove up from Boston area and spent a month driving around, We LOVE Nova Scotia.

I love the bay of Fundy i was to the Bay Of Fundy Parkway Trail this summer in New Brunswick what a place it was close to St.Martins.
Nova Scotia has around 7500 kms of shoreline and it's never any problem finding a great beach . Enjoy .

Ogunquit Maine has the same cold water. However the seafood is incredible. I’m sure in Nova Scotia they have outstanding seafood.
