Something I love is the fact that they openly talked about how normal it felt to kiss another guy, even though they were hyper aware of it in the beginning. Like the fact that they realized who was more "masculine" or "small and cute" shouldn't be matter, because at the end of the day they are portraying two people in love. We don't know their sexualities and honestly it's not a fan's place to poke into their personal lives, but I really appreciate them and their mindset so much. So many actors with heteronormative mindsets try to act disgusted, over sexualize their interactions with their acting partner, and/or just make jokes so they don't seem gay. That's why even if I watch ship videos because they're cute, I try not to get attached to the actors because we don't really know if they even take their role seriously, if they aren't outspoken about it. But I absolutely love it when actors advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, because though I couldn't care less if they were straight or not, I love it when actors understand the impact their roles have. I am sorry for the long comment but I could honestly write a paper on this 😭 like media still has a longgg way to go for good LGBTQ+ representation, so I love these little progressions we're having. As a lesbian, it's very cool to see GLs finally on the rise, but it will probably be like starting from zero until we get a GL that feels as impactful as Bad Buddy was. OhmNanon make me feel the same way Maxtul does like it's none of my business if they're in a romantic relationship, but there is something so nice about watching 2 people who obviously care so much about each other and have pride in their work.
