    Sean is one of the most honest guys who put out videos on social media. It’s not in this man to stretch the truth. Also appreciate all the positive things he does for the hunting community. Wish SMOA a great season this year. God bless you and yours. 🦌🏹🎥💯👍🙏🏻

    I switch to ground hunting 2 seasons ago and don't regret it. I was mostly just tired of lugging a tree stand a mile or more into the woods. The first season as I found out was new learning curve. A fun learning curve. Having to look at the woods a bit differently and change strategy to what I would have done in a tree. Good luck! I think you'll enjoy the challege(s) as much as I did. And still learning of course.

    Great review about a great hunting seat!
    I used to sell hunting equipment so I've had the chance to try out many different types of seats over the years. I own one of these seats now and I can honestly say that it's one of the best seats out there-period! Not only is it lightweight and easy to pack in, (especially for us older folks), but it's also very comfortable and extremely stable. I've used it in temperatures that hovered around the single digits and it never made a squeak, not even when I shifted my weight on it, and that's a big plus for any hunter.
    I can't wait to see Sean's next video when he uses it on a real hunt.
    Keep the good videos coming, Sean! God Bless!

    I hunt from a tree stand and from the ground so this looks like a item I may have to try out. Thank you for the review.
    Also Thank you to the men and women who fought for our country. This is a company I can support since it's also made in the USA

    I actually purchased one of these last deer season. I hunted with it and I can tell you first hand this seat is as sturdy as you can get. Once strapped to the tree it does not move! It is also silent because it allows you to rotate 180 degrees rather than the seat swiveling which leads to squeaks and creaks. I sat all day with no problem unlike the other seats I’ve purchased which kill my lower back. It has my seal of approval! Thanks Sean. I love your videos.

      I agree. Very solid and I slid around on it bi problem, no need for a swivel. I actually have. A seat that straps to the tree and has a swivel seat but I never use it because it's too clunky and noisy.

      Just curious is there a max weight capacity on this seat i know it jas a metal leg and brace but that sometimes doesnt mean anything hahaha

      I am not sure but it is probably a lot. This is pretty heavy duty metal and it is well put together. You could message 03 Outfitters directly on their website and ask them. It is a good question. God bless you.

    I'm cheap so I just use my little tripod stool that I also use when I'm fishing.
    This looks good though, I might need to pick up a couple.

    Looks like a great idea. even if not used to actually shoot from but to relieve the muscles from the old "tripod" stance with a bow, the give the knees a rest.

    If you figure out any tricks for getting it setup on uneven terrain, please share. I hunt in your old PA stomping grounds, and I think this exact model would be pretty limited. Either by rocks, or facing up mountain/down mountain, or sidehill. If it had some adjustment I'd be tempted to try it

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only time I'd think it wouldn't work easily would be facing sidehill. If facing uphill or downhill it would be fine.

    Hi Sean. Any tips on making an old ladder stand less creeky?
    Mine snaps and creeks when climbing in or out of it.

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe try wrapping the end with a thin layer of electrical tape, or duct tape if it will still fit into the sleeve of the next piece. Do not use it though if it will not seat all the way down in as it should.

      Good so far. The boots are showing some cosmetic ware after one.season - the camo color on the toes has faded, but fine otherwise. Backpack is holding up well too

    Does that seat swivel?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No but I have a swivel seat that straps to the tree and makes too much noise and doesn't strap on solidly so I never use it. I'll be using this one. It's solid and easy to rotate on as it is.

  • @leafinitup1
    @leafinitup1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I’m not too impressed. It should rotate minimally, and without a lower back support, it’s not going to be comfortable

      @joewalzak 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve used the seat for years. I understand your critique, but the room between you and the tree, plus the material that’s used being silent so you can rotate freely without noise, eliminates the need for a potentially noisy (and expensive to produce) rotation device. To your second point- if you set it up correctly (not on a tree with knots or that is leaning in an uncomfortable position), it is extremely comfortable. I’ve sat sun up to sun down many times on it during archery season.
