I loved all the old photos. I learned something new - I didn't know about the oysters!

I just moved into The Element a month ago. A skyscraper on the river in downtown Tampa. I always thought I hated the area. It is a city and there's a lot of things that come with living in a city. Drugs, homeless, prostitution ect.. but now that I've been here for a month, I can confidently say that I've been converted. I love this place. So much so, that I'm looking up videos about the areas history.
Tampa has been really good to us. I love it here. The historical buildings, the fine dining, beautiful site seeing, attractions and it's lovely, diverse and unique culture. The view from our apartment is gorgeous. I only today realized that we can barely see Bucsh Gardens off in the distance from our balcony. We live on the 26th floor and half of our apartment is windows.
I highly recommend that you give it a chance. There's something for everyone here. I am delightfully surprised how great Tampa really is.

Thanks for looking out. I wish we could send representatives out in to the communities to teach the kids this video and instill some town pride and knowledge. Most adults don't seem to give a shit about this place and it kinda sucks and shows their priorities are

Too bad you didn't include anything about Jean Street Shipyard, which has been in operation on the Hillsborough River since 1843
