HyungSik is my favourite actor so I’ll watch anything he does because he’s so believable - and even when he’s hamming it up, there’s a loveable self-effacing silliness to his manner. But I really want to thank the writers of Doctor Slump too - it’s so much more than a romcom. I really appreciate the way they’ve sensitively incorporated very important messages normalizing conversations about mental health. This is so extremely important for all humans, but especially in Korea where I’ve heard there is a mental health crisis yet it’s still a bit taboo to talk about or admit you’re struggling. I hope this changes quickly because mental health is just as important as physical health and everybody will have times that they are not doing well and need support from their loved ones and from professionals. Thank you Doctor Slump writers, cast and crew ❤️🩹💝
100% agree👍👍Hyungsik is a brilliant comedic force!! Not only did he remind me of Jim Carrey constantly, but he surpasses Jim Carrey I think in that he can do comedy and drama and romance equally well …. they handled some pretty tough subjects brilliantly too. The writing was exceptional. AND KUDOS to the actor who played her brother he stole pretty much every scene he was in. He was hilarious! Just great casting here… the chemistry was perfect and believable❤️
Hyungsik is a junior considered korean actor who can act well... I couldn't forget his acting as a king in hwarang who really different with his true character. But he can bring up that character very well... go go with ur act go on n on with new project... always waiting n support.
Park Hyungsik IS PHENOMENAL in this series! He reminded me of Jim Carrey in that he is a comedic genius who can also nail every dramatic scene too!! He seems like a sweetheart IRL too-a joy to watch!! The chemistry between the 2 leads was exceptional…they handled some tough & touchy subjects with so much joy & respect…and their romantic scenes were 🔥🔥👍LOVED Doctor Slump❤️❤️❤️The casting was perfect….script was funny, sweet and exciting. The male lead & her brother were my favorites… whenever they were in the scene, you couldn’t help be drawn to every second they were acting. And her aunts were hilarious-her entire family I’d watch a series with them!! Plus I enjoyed the best friends storylines…their romance was fun to watch play out…PERFECT blend of humor, drama, romance and tenderness…just a perfect series with a blend of great writing and EXCEPTIONAL acting by all👍👍👍👍👍
