I have just purchased the Stryker version(full face) to upgrade my LS2 with sena SMH5 addon. So far it has been a worthwhile upgrade and the sound is beautiful. Upgrading the firmware took a bit of head scratching but achievable. For me the early morning "mist" inside the visor, even with a pinlock on the LS2, was one key upgrade and so far the visor coatings are keeping the mist very minimal and manageable. Also have one for 6 months now. Only complaint is the buckle that hits my Adam's apple and after some time it starts to hurt... The rest is really a nice helmet and get value for the money
Shoei is one of my favorite helmets, and they do make a great modular model. When i saw this one come out with the electronics built in I decided to give it a try. Thanks for watching and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks for your review video. I was actually considering buying the Sena Impulse helmet this winter. There is also a new model coming out soon with a few more changes and options. Did you find the Impulse helmet fit tighter? Great information my friend.
@@goldwingmoments I found the fit to be slightly more snug than my HJC Rpha but at the same time still very comfortable and quiet. Thanks for the heads up on the new model. I’ll have to look for it. Cheers!
I purchased mine almost a year ago and recently had a trip to Thunder Bay Ontario. I got caught in the rain and my intercom system turned off and it doesn’t work so guys make sure you don’t wear it when it rains. Otherwise you’ll end up just like me and I gave two stars out of five

@@walliamir7680 I rode to Laconia from the GTA and was in heavy rain. Never had any problems.
Just an update about my Sena Impulse helmet after two days of the incident in the rain my helmet dried up and now it’s working without any repairs

I don’t ever use it since I like to steam Pandora and put on shuffle.
