Wow dandelions for teeth Enamel is something I've never heard. Plants , especially herbs and "weeds" are just incredible. I've been teaching myself more about remedies and making some more. It's a really enjoyable activity to grow and prepare them myself. When plants are self seeding, they can come up well before were told we can sow or plant out . Lots of good food growing in there for you to harvest in the hungry gap . I loved the tour . I planted our spring plants all out in summer , we were so dry last year that I held off planting until I knew I'd have water to keep them alive. The dam dried up and we were trickling precious drinking water on our baby fruit trees . We only lost a few little trees but almost all our perennials and herbs died. The dam is about ⅓ full now and tanks are not promising but I'm planting anyway. The newish beds are retaining water much better than in the ground which is basically sand and rocks with no real soil except the little I've managed to build it up. Opposite challenges here to you . I tell myself that it makes life interesting. Lol. Thank you for a beautiful big tour lovely ❤❤
I’m learning so much more about dandelions, they amaze me! I look forward to making a video on them as well as other plants I use as medicine. Sounds like drought is affecting you. We’re moving towards drought too year after year. I’m hoping our dams will stay quite full this year, but I’m not sure if that will happen. Even though we have rain right now, we haven’t had rain for ages. The wind today has dried out the top of the soil too, so it’s like we didn’t even have rain. 🤞 you get more rain. Thanks again for watching, I’m so glad you enjoyed the garden tour. 🌻
So nice to see a real garden that's for use and not just for show. Gardening is a job that is never "done" so I find super-neat and tidy gardens suspicious. Learned a lot from this, including that that I shouldn't be putting the leaves of my first-ever kohl rabi crop straight into the compost. Thank you. b.t.w. The kohlrabi packet says they can be planted in Spring, Summer and Autumn in our parts of the country - have you tried planting them in Spring or Summer and did you have any luck?
Gardening, especially with edible plants, is always ongoing and there’s always a long to do list on farms. You are very right there! I have grown kohlrabi a lot in the past, mostly planting in autumn for winter harvest, but I have tried it in spring as well. I find it better to plant earlier in spring than later. I hope you’re having a lovely weekend! Thanks for watching 🌻
Hi Karen, thanks for subscribing! I purchased this netting from Bunnings to give it a go. We will definitely purchase in bulk one day when we start netting our trees and have extended our gardens fully. I’ll let you know when we get bulk netting, in the meantime there’s a video a few weeks ago where I show you the netting I got. Thanks for watching! 🌻
@@ThreeBarrowFarm thankyou, I did have a bit of look through for a video on the netting…lol.. l will have another look. I have a rabbit problem so have to net. I need to replace it as it’s the old type and it catches snakes which I do not want to do.. I did purchase some frost cloth in bulk which was so much cheaper, so was curious. Thankyou, love your garden 👌

New subscriber here 😊 do you buy your netting in bulk? Do you have suggestions or recommendations for which to use? Thanks
