This cover was voted by my patrons on Patreon! I asked which genre of song they’d like next and they chose “love song” so here y’all go!
Don’t you love Miku in her little judge outfit? If you don’t, I don’t know where your soul went but my apologies. Also, yes I think he looks like Shintaro too but maybe it’s just because his red jersey and lack of a will to live. Just a great PV all around and of course it’s by Tama because Tama is great. I also really enjoyed writing lyrics for this even though there was a lot of legal jargon I threw in there. Descentsubs was my main source for the translation so he inspired most of that decision obviously. It’s nice to have some playful lyrics once in awhile lol.
But yeah, I’m still away from home and recorded this on my sister’s desk this time (thankfully). Sadly, I didn’t realize how echo-ey the room was and, if you don’t already know, that’s bad for recording. It’s really hard to reduce reverb when mixing later so I had to do some weird things to try and lessen it. Anyway, I learned some stuff and this mix might sound different than usual because of all the stuff I mentioned above. But I’ll return home on Wednesday and we’ll see if I’ll be able to do something next week still!

En plus de ça je sait même pas si c'est moi qui divague à cause du fait que je m'interesse à la psychiatrie où j'ai vraiment raison.
En gros ma théorie c'est que le mec ai un trouble de la personnalité (un indice y est laissé dans la traduction de la chanson originale.)
Et que du coup à cause de ses problèmes il essaie de manipuler la fille pour lui briser le cœur. C'est ça le crime d'amour dont il parle.

Et la fille serai peut-être assez intelligente pour deviner qu'il essaie de la manipuler.

The concept of the song that's much lighter and what I'd like to go with and think of as the actual meaning is that the guy is being tried for a "Love crimes" like giving flowers, chocolate, and such gifts to this girl. The girl's the judge and she's tries him "guilty" of having feelings and "stealing" her heart. But she's afraid to let her walls down, so she "jails" him , aka secluding his feelings from her. But he has the key to her heart, unlocking the doors. At the end, when it says she's guilty as well. It means she's stolen his heart just like he did with hers.
I have no way to prove this is the actual meaning of the song, this is just what I picked up from it. ^^

Sigh, I really couldn't have put it better myself. I love the concept of their "love crimes" being more of them being guilty of loving each other instead of them being guilty of hurting or cheating on each other. It makes the song as touching as any other interpretation without all the "I'm 14 and this is deep" stuff.
Wish more people appreciated theories like this. I'm sad not more people are going all like "omg are you genius or a psychic" on you.

My view on this song is maybe the guy had done a lot to hurt the girl in one way or another, and he thought he was doing fine and not messing up. When he realizes how badly he hurt the girl, he begins to feel hurt because of his own actions and understands she's beginning to judge him but he doesn't want to lose her. When she finds him guilty and he's in 'jail' which I believe represents his confinement in his own mind, he has time to think and realizes he wants only her, so when he's asking 'What kind of perfect love crime would make us both cry?' It's really him saying 'I hurt us both.' And when he's saying he's locked up 'with no parole, I'll be here maybe ten to life. So till I die I'll protect and and serve by your side.' He's saying he wants to marry her and protect her from his old ways. When she's crying but smiling, it's him realizing that she's guilty of hurting him in her own ways.

Ah, so this was the scene that they deleted from Danganronpa.
If the gun "on you" is smoking its either a black powder weapon that needs to be reloaded or has an overheated barrel that could burst with the next shot. So its better to have a smoking gun on you than a smokeless gun on you. It could also be burning hot, as if it was in a furnace for 10 hours or something, which means no one could shoot it at you and it wouldnt be able to shoot effectively. However if it was litteraly on you than third degree burns could be expected. If its a gun with wooden elements it could also be litteraly on fire.

To be honest, in my view it's about a boy who accidentally confesses to his longtime friend which he's loved for a long time. It just slipped out one day hence the "I don't know what came over me." (Another version) He knows that their friendship could be unravelled and so "You know you're my everything"
Miku is shocked and looks at the boy weirdly. The boy panics and swears that he can change his feelings and that it would never happen again, just show mercy on their friendship, (He wants the friendship to stay, that's why he's trying really hard.)
"Having planned the perfect crime, equipped with a watertight alibi as well" He comes back with a perfect excuse but she knows and isn't fooled.
Miku now knows all of the love crimes (Things that he did out of love for her) and he wonders how long the list will be now.
He pleaded, but she found him 'guilty'
The boy had talked his way out of other love crimes and now he can't get out of this one because of the overwhelming proof.
He's pushed away from Miku and now he curses himself for being stupid. He isn't able to come back to her and plead, he knows.
MIku is feeling heartbroken in spite of what she said.
One day the boy comes running up with tears in his eyes and shouts out if your feeling sadness like I am then why did you find me guilty?!
He hugged her closer and said even if you hate me I'll still be here for you.

Random anime Freak Can someone explain to me this song? It is amazing, but I am a tad confused.
I think the guy was cheating on her, and he was feeling bad about hurting her and stuff, and she wasnt going to go back to him? But when at the end when he saw her smiling, he realized she also cheated on him
KeeperofSecrets well for me, i think the girl found out that the guy likes her and acted all tsundere towards him but in the end the guy realized that the girl actually also likes him back ; they're both guilty of liking each other.
I gave this song a lot of thought and ended looking up the wikia on the original video, which didn't help. But after thinking on it for a few hours, while i was trying to sleep I think i figured it out.
So, I think the boy probably cheated on the girl. Maybe it was simple flirting, or maybe a more intimate reprieve. I think he ends up doing this because the girl doesn't show the affection he desires in their relationship. The lines in this song "The one who loved, the one who can't get enough" is originally more along the lines of "the one who loves, the one who is loved" making me think that the majority of the affection in the relationship is coming from the boy. Later in the song it mentions the differences in their personalities. The girl is probably not a very affectionate person while the boy have and craves affection in spades. He wasn't getting the affection he desired from the girl, even though her loves her dearly, and so seeks out affection from another woman. Like I said, this could have been simple flirting, or a more intimate meeting. I'm thinking he only did it once, and didn't intend to do it again, but was still caught.
The girl, because she loves him as well, plays what amounts to a trick on him to let him know that he'll be very unhappy without her.
I think that in the end they realize what they need from one and other. I also like the line "we're both to blame and always weighing our feelings everyday" which in the original Japanese is talking more about how they weigh each other's "crimes" against one and other. Which is to say that the boy was wrong for seeking affection elsewhere and the girl was wrong for not granting him the affection he needed in order to feel loved in their relationship, and that they realized they need to stop judging one and other.
