I’m so sorry to hear about your back pain 😢. I hope it heals quickly. The toaster sweater is my favorite pattern as well . I recently saw a video where it was hacked into a dress and now I see your hack with the zipper. I need to try them both! Thanks so much for the inspiration and taking the time and effort to share your ideas!
Get better quickly, back pain is soooo restrictive. Your sweater looks lovely on you, and I loved the tantzlising peek at those beautiful fabrics in the shop. We still don't have the great variety you have on offer here in Australia, but it has improved over the last few years. Happy sewing. ❤😂 🇦🇺
@@jesspeak7543 Thank you, Jess! I love that sweater. Must make more 😅. It is a treat to be able to visit a good fabric store in person, but they are quite few and far between here, too. I am fortunate enough to have a good one local to me, but many of the stores are chain stores now.
Hi Karen Marie... You poor thing with your back 😮... Wishing you a speedy recovery 🙏. Loving your blue sweatshirt... looks cosy for your chilly winters ❄️. Best of luck with all your family makes and that shirt pattern looks really interesting... I haven't seen that one, so might have to purchase that.. I love a good shirt pattern 🥰💖😘
Hi Karen Marie. Besides knee pain, back pain is the worst ( ask me how I know🤔!) The toaster sweater is one pattern I a Ways look at longingly but for some reason have never purchased. Why? I wish I knew! But I suspect I may be revisiting this decision (again🧐). Oh, and another shirt pattern with raglan sleeves is the Majorelle from itch to stitch. I’ve done a toile and now cut out what I hope is final ( do you hear the absolute terror in my voice as I say this. First shirt terror). I fell in love with raglan sleeves when I made a Burda Easy dress pattern last summer. Loved the view from your window. That misty autumnal vibe is just gorgeous. Take care please and feel better soon🧡
@@JulieH1958 Haha, Julie. «First shirt terror» made me giggle. Oh, that’s right. The Majorelle has raglan sleeves. I had forgotten that, even though I own that pattern.. woops! I don’t think you’ll regret getting the Toaster. It is a great pattern. ❤️
Karen Marie, it is the second week of November and you've already had snow as of your Gift to November video so mentioning Christmas is allowed! I hope your back is on the mend. X
Oh, I know, Diane. But some people apparently get very stressed about Christmas, so I guess it is natural that they don't want to hear about it before it is all around us. :) As makers, though, I feel like we have to start earlier. My back is on the mend, thanks!
Love the sweater top. I hope you rest this weekend and your back recovers!!

Back pain is the worst! Beautiful toaster havk although my favourite toaster is the other view 😂. Everyone loves a toaster ❤
Thank you! I have actually never tried the other version. I probably need to give that one a go, too :)

The toaster dress idea was from Christine from Gemini Stitches if you want to check it out.
Thank you! I'll definitely have a look :)
I really dislike having to stick pdf patterns together 😂 xxx
Oh, I know. I mean.. some people find it sort of therapeutic, but not me, I'm afraid. It is just dull work :)
