The WBC is a tournament created by the Major League Secretariat to promote baseball. Basically, the effect of hosting the Games increases only when the United States does well. However, this time, the dignity of the competition was lowered too openly. I changed the schedule and opponent of the semi-finals using the broadcasting schedule as an excuse. According to the original tournament rules, the U.S. had to face Japan in the semifinals. However, as if they were worried about the scenario of meeting Japan and being eliminated in the semifinals, they abruptly changed their matchup to meet Cuba. The plan to go all the way to the finals seemed too obvious. How in the world can you change the rules that were set during the tournament? This undermined the authority of the WBC of, by, and for the United States. 👎🇺🇸
So true the real final was japan vs mexico. This tournament not popular for the usa cause plain and simple their not winning. It always tries to help the usa win its not fair in reality. The excuses were already made that it doesn't mean as much to the usa players and it does to other nations or that they don't have the best starting pitchers going to the wbc. When before the tournament they were saying it's a dream team and had the best 9. So yeah in reality It's japan Mexico And Puerto Rico Then usa as the best baseball countries. But they want to lie to the media and say usa still actually that their the best cause they didn't have their best starting pitchers lol. But we all know japan the best in baseball and the goat is ohtani without him probably mexico wins it all as their team was the most balanced one apart from japan.
