I used to make sprite movies...my main character was Nazo.....I used him in every sprite movie....I made them for about 2 months....got a youtube account for amvs, and started focusing on them
You know what Sucks? I have a collection of awesome sprite sheets but i never have the time to use them for animations! I use Adobe Flash CS3 but whenever I make a certain part of 1 it wont let me go back to make it move across the screen. And whenever i do have time it doesn't look right or when i open a recent file it lags. Really annoying and i can never finish anything
Sonic uses those signs with timeline names to travel in time though. Goku at the start of Dragon Ball was fast enough to overwhelm a normal people with his speed and what's more, it was rapidly increasing. In 21st Budokai, you can see how Krillin with Muten Roshi did tons of actions in just 0.2 seconds and Goku saw through like it was nothing (and their power levels were around 100 only!) Now if you follow their power increase, They are Massively FTL.
Good point...if they were training, Sonic wouldn't freeze time. Goku would probably hold back as well, probably going no higher than ssj2. (He only goes ssj3 in life or death situations) I can see Sonic going Super. It would be more like endurance training for Goku, as he would have to hold Sonic off until he runs out of energy, which could last for entire days, or two minutes. I can actually see this happening.

You should realize that Sonic beat the present version of a space time god that had the ability to eat dimensions for lunch. It would just eat Goku and his energy like a little cookie crumb.

My friend, you might want to research a bit more on Sonic. Robots aren't the only things Sonic has fought. Sonic has taken on Super dimensional beings like Time Eater and Solaris. Beings who could destroy the entire space/time continuum. Not to mention he fought beings like Alf lay la and Dark Queen (who could reality warp an universe). Goku's most dangerous enemies are mere planet busters. They don't even compare to some of the villains that Sonic has fought.
Despite Sonic being my absolute favourite series I've gotta say, who in any franchise could possibly stand a chance against the Saiyans? Perhaps Sonic or Shadow would be fast and strong enough to be an even match to Goku after he defeated Piccolo Jr at the end of Dragon Ball, but as soon as Z started and Raditz showed up and the Z stories got underway everybody from every series ever was suddenly rendered insignificant. At that point Goku is vulnerable while his weak Ki blast don't take time to charge but it won't do any damage to Super Sonic.

I have a question involving sprite animation. In an animation that I'm doing, I'm using sprites from multiple sheets. For example, when I swap a symbol, if the sprite I'm using is from a different sheet than the sprite I'm swapping, it can be very time-consuming trying to scale them out. Is there a way that I can scale them accurately without the process being so...labor intensive.

I don´t have to mention that Goku after King kai´s training became so fast that he passed 1 milion kilometers (or just 1 Terameter) in few hours. and now he is more Faster. Goku´s power was 8200 at that state and yet he was that fast so yeah I think they are already faster than light.
