I believe common denominator of everyone who views and comments are the appreciation of family and community..there is also the passion for healthy farm or backyard garden food..wherever we live..Andrew,,you do a beautiful job with this..as always..best wishes to all.
You might go broke the way Callie eats peas...but that sure was good for her. Your peas and broccoli sure look good, glad you are having a good harvest after the slow start.
Fresh peas from the field are my favorite treat of the year, maybe 2nd only to the first heirloom tomato sandwich of the summer. Thanks for the great videos!
I remember my dad planting the corn, peas and squash together. The peas were ready by the 4th of July, the corn would be ready by late August, and the squash was ready by mid September. Love your videos. Keep doing what you do.
Callie is so cute eating her raw peas. Peas look fantastic! Know Nana and Grandad are happy to be visiting, they can see two daughters in one visit!😍 Keep videos coming!
Brother a Trick from a Green House I worked at Back in the early 80’s we used Clothes line clip’s to keep the water line’s from being knocked off by there dozen cats that roamed the Green house’s at night looking for Mice and Mole’s….Keep up the Good work Veggie Boy’s and Girl’s….🤟🏻🤟🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Peas make me nostalgic. I remember going with my Granny to visit her sisters in Arkansas as a child in the mid 1970s. Great Aunt Pearl had a little house with some land and a good size veggie garden. I vividly recall sitting on the big porch with Great Aunts Pearl and Myrtle and my Granny Opal shelling peas from a big bushel basket. One of them put an apron on me and taught me how to open the pods and slide the peas out. I felt like Laura Ingalls, lol, on the porch listening to the sisters tell stories and talk about their lives on the farm while filling a big wood bowl full of fresh peas. I'll always remember the blue skies, the lush green land, the feel and aroma of the peas, and the sounds of three rockers creaking while the sisters laughed like schoolgirls.
Did you get Glen the cow penned back up? Lol. I was the guy that let you know that we could see it loose from your market window on the Saturday before July 4th. Then you called me Glen when you thanked my wife and I for stopping by. I said "You can call me anything, just not late for dinner." My wife still laughs about it. Also that corn from. Delaware was awesome. I can't wait to get some of your corn soon. Thanks again for the awesome videos.
The heads of lettuce are just huge. I plant something every day, even if it is in my mind. In the ground would be better. Callie is getting so big. Love you guys.❤❤
Andrew, Andrew, the vids are phenomenal! Ok, I’d like a bushel each of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi, peas, all 3kinds, red lettuce, and 6doz corn, kale, and shard, Yahoo!!!
I love harvest videos. Those heads of lettuce are HUGE! The sweet corn always surprises me. Makes me wonder if Delaware got a lot more rain than you guys did in your fields that theirs was ready now. It's amazing that the sweet corn disappears so fast. Makes you wonder what you're missing, but I guess most people who have room for a garden know how good fresh picked vegetables are.
Great videos Andrew! How about a mum on one side of the water line and the next one on the side of the water line? That way the water line wouldn't come off the pot so easily. But hey, i'm just comenting from the cheap seats! Keep it up, you guys rock.
4:18 now that the plants are bigger why not zig-zag or zipper the water line. Going down the line, a plant on the left, and next on the right side. The plants will hold the lines in place. Watching you guys makes me miss the farm, love watching what you're up to
Picking those peas reminded me of the years when my brother grew a nice garden and I would spend the day picking green beans. Bring them in and cook a big pot of them. Those were the days.
Such incredible looking harvests, the crunch of that lettuce and the amount of work I don’t know how you all do it! I would love to grow peas that size. I must baby my garden too much. It would be interesting to know the varieties. You must have the right nutrients, variety and weather. We haven’t had only a half inch of rain since May in Z5a, WI Callie is so cute, she wanted to still help daddy. So much smoke yet, that’s awful. We burst out laughing when you said, ‘What’s better than picking peas in the morning?….” 😂😂😂. Loads of fun I’m sure😄
Another awesome video. I would just put a bent wire in those Mums putting it over the water line. You don't even have to do each plant. Maybe every 5th plant. That will hold the water lines in position. God Bless you guys!
We were there the day the Delaware corn came. Got a dozen, was delicious. Local and frequent your store often. Love the videos. We were there as your pulled in for lunch.
I am totally digging the texture of my pea leaves this year. That squeak is very satisfying. As usual, none if my peas are making it to the kitchen. My grandson loves them in the garden too
Hey Andrew, why not put stick in the dirt, maybe 2" down in the soil, on the potted mums capturing the black irrigation hose between the mum and the stick? Maybe a Popsicle stick, straw or chopstick would do the job? Even every second or third pot. That way with inspections you could assure the black hose is staying in place. Cheers!
Hello hello from south Houston Texas thanks for your videos tell your dad he is one lucky man with all the family United and he knows so much about farming what an intelligent man love your videos
Callie will be eating peas 😅😅😅😅😅 more then in the basket so cute. We our suppose to has server storms tonight unless they cancel it. I got small basket on green onions , and pickles , Roman lettuce .

Stem of the broccoli is the sweetest, best part!
Great to see Lauren and Meghan’s parents visiting and helping!
Watching her eat peas from the pod is the sweetest thing I've seen in a while! Enjoy your content.
Wise decision on your part as a daddy you don't want Callie out in the heat too much 😊
Little Pea Picker out today! Nice. Great veggie eater right from the start. Can't wait to see what she does with tomatoes!

I might put a landscape staple over that drip tape to pin it down every few pots.
Looks like the pea cutie strikes. :)
