10:36 I feel you. Same here. I only realised about a year ago that Randy Orton is no longer a new guy who will become a legend one day. He's already there. Of all the full time workers roster ( so part timers like Edge, Triple H, Taker, or even Cena since a few years now, aside ) Randy is the one who's been there for the longest time. He has seen every other current guys making their debut in WWE, as he was there before all of them. I was blown away when I realized that. I still feel like he only arrived about 5 years ago at max. Crazy how fast the time flies. And it also made me realize that despite the fact that I still feel like I'm somewhere between 19 to 22 yo, this clearly isn't the case anymore. I don't feel like I'm almost 35 even though I am. When you read about the guy who wrote it isn't as exciting as before, which you disagreed with, even though you admit it it's not the same than when you watch the old posters of PPVs with the guys you grew up with. Well, I disagree with you on that. A few years ago, I thought the same as you though. Was feeling like it only feels that way because we don't realize that the guys on the current posters ARE the top guys now. But I changed my mind. Because I realized that it's not about not realizing these guys are the big guys, because I did realize that already. No, it's simply about finding these guys boring. As a result, it does feel less exciting. For many reasons ( sadly, it would be way too long to explain them all ) , but to only give 1 or 2 to keep it as short as possible. When looking at old PPV posters of the guys I grew up with, I can see Taker, The Rock, Austin, Triple H, Michaels, Foley. The thing is, they weren't just the current main eventers, they truly felt like huge stars. Just listen back to the crowd's reactions to these guys when they were making their entrance. They all had that indescribable thing about them that didn't make them feel like " the current top guys " or " the big guys of the moment / current years " , but truly made them feel like huge stars, and were already having reactions like they had been there for 20 years. To really understand what I mean by that, just look back at WM 18. Hogan vs The Rock. On paper, it was a guy who was an established legend, going face to face with the big guy of the moment. Yet it felt like a " dream match " , a real " Icon vs Icon " match. Rocky didn't felt like a B+ player ( as Steph would put it ) against Hogan. It felt like 2 mega stars, 2 legends, collided. Now go to WM 33. Undertaker vs Reigns. On paper, this is the exact same case scenario. But did it felt like 2 mega stars facing off ? Like a dream match ? An " Icon vs Icon " match ? No. It felt like a legend was going off against the current golden boy of the federation who wasn't even a half of the legend he was going against. And seeing the current golden boy win felt horrible, and a big disrespect to the Undertaker. Yet when The Rock defeated Hogan at WM18, it didn't felt that way at all. If it feels less exciting now, it's because the WWE, despite pushing some guys and make new top guys and all, they fail at making them unlock that indescribable thing that truly turns them into big stars. Batista ( despite the fact I always hated seeing him in a ring ) had it. Cena had it. They didn't felt like " the current top guys " , but felt like they were big stars. If he could get his 2016 hair and beard back, but not make him wear any merch shirts or stupid coats like they make him wear nowadays, nah, nothing more than his in-ring gear from 2010 for his entrance. Basically, take his exact entrance and entrance outfit for his match against Lashley on Raw on March 22 2021, and just imagine him with his 2016 hair and beard. Trust me Dave Meltzer is the only reason behind AEW v/s WWE fan's war. He often overates AEW matches and underate or unnecessarily criticize WWE matches which starts the conflict. Absolutely hate Dave.
They also make his opinion sound like straight facts like it doesn't matter how anyone thinks,Dave Meltzer is end all and be all of wrestling for them Dave rated that 6 man tag spotfest at full gear more ratings than both Taker vs Shawn wm matches like why would anyone take him seriously
Meltzer only care about 1hour matches without any storylines or anything related to character build-up. He just want to see flips and kicks and he is gonna rate it a 5 star match.
Bobby Lashley the only one who looked good with the title this year. He embodies the champion look! A boss character in a game you know you cannot defeat.
Esteemed Forehead of the Table, I have to disagree with your sentiments about CM Punk's return. It wasn't meaningless. It was about reintegration and reintroduction for him. Shaking off that rust.
I got one. I’m late, but I got one. The only reasons Logan Paul was not accepted with (largely widely) open arms by pro wrestling fans is a mixture of Not being who the fans want to see at the moment, which is fine And people plain and simply not willing to swallow putting his past behind him, which is questionable because he’s improved light years as a human since the incident 5 WHOLE YEARS AGO
Low-key I think big Es story with Seth and Kevin Owens is good. the Roman story made sense for sure as well as the bobby lashley fued. I say it's good just make him a bit more badass like big e when he came out with the powder entrance slapping his hands with The powder
I think Big e has potential but right now he’s unbearable. I view him as a what if. What if steve austin became a wwe champion as the ring master? What if the rock became wwe champion as rocky maivia baby face? It goes on but he needs a gimmick reinvention because rn he isn’t champion status. Not saying he needs to turn heel just make it interesting.
What do you mean!? Big E's story with Roman Reigns showed how great he can play a serious role when you disrespect his family. Big E is as much championship material as Drew McIntyre
No he ain’t, he’s just a silly gimmick that can’t hang with the main eventers if he doesn’t change his gimmick. Like he probably will never be wwe champion after this. People like r truth or Christian bust their ass for years, stay with the company for many years and don’t get a wwe title shot? Like they since McIntyre they have been giving the title for undeserving people except maybe lashley.
To be completely honest...big e as WWE champion seems awfully dull. I mean he's not a championship material. His character is bland asf just like all baby faces.
Is Big E being champ really that "crazy?" It's been known that Vince wanted he or Roman to become the face of wwe when both were down in fcw. Vince chose Roman, but it isn't that shocking that he would still want to push Big E as well.
I feel like if they want to make Big E an actual SERIOUS CHAMPION, they gotta turn him heel. I cant take this man seriously as a champ while he is swinging his hips to the New Day theme song 💀 I mean, Big E has a pretty amazing physique and wrestling style, but his gimmick feels a lil too silly for his character rn. Although I absolutely LOVED the new day gimmick, I really wouldn’t mind seeing Big E ditch that entire persona for a heel run. He’s already pretty much separated from Kofi and Woods already due to the different brands they are on, so why not pull the trigger on a heel run 🤷♂️ just look at what a heel run has done for Roman reigns, Im sure they can pull something off with a heel Big E
@@JamesJones-kb7zx Well honestly, it's almost always the solution with champions. Look at Roman Reigns title reign from when he was a face to now as a heel. To me it's much easier to become a good heel than becoming a good baby face for a company because with heels you can cheat or say pretty much anything without worrying how the crowd responds, your goal is to make them hate you. As a face, it's like you have all these guidelines to follow and you really have to capture the crowd's interest without being boring, if that makes any sense. Obviously being a good heel isn't easy but being a good babyface the entire crowd can get behind is still the most difficult thing to do, it's still too soon to judge Big E's title reign though.
He's by himself though. He hasn't been dancing to anything lately, he has his own theme and is pretty serious with his promos. He's good where he is with his title run since he's by himself. Heel turns aren't always the answer especially when most of the top guys on Raw are heels. Big E as a face balances it out.
In my opinion, Carmella's gimmick isn't bad, but they don't know what they're doing with it. Also, Lone Wolf Corbin should've won the world title when he had the money in the bank
First fans bark to push a Random superstar than they call him booring 🙄 From this we can know that wwe know who to push big example Roman reigns the saw something in him
I don't know where the notion of judging someone based on a world title reign that has lasted 2 months comes. Even at that Big E has carried himself like a champ in everything he has done. Those banger matches with Lashley, McIntyre and Reigns have already cemented him as a high level performer. He is in middle of a unique feud with Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins and I am loving every second of his reign even though I felt he became champ without any build, two months ago
AEW was created out of hatred against wwe. Even though aew is a good show but at the same time they continuously take shots against the wwe just for clout or something. Kinda sad if you ask me
Unpopular opinion: Sasha Banks is overrated she is not good as people making her out to be. She can be good and sloppy/botchy in the ring, and her promos are not good and she don't have a character all she does is call herself “The Boss" and yet still till this day haven't done anything to call herself that and she trying to act sassy bit*hy and the results are not good and cringey.
Another unpopular opinion: Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are the perfect commentary team. Good heel commentator vs a good face commentator. Also, I just love whenever Corey picks on Byron 😂😂😂.
Unpopular Opinion: Not enough people respect Dolph Ziggler 🤷🏻♂️ He’s had a quietly amazing career. He deserves better hope he can meet with his brother over in AEW, but their roster is already pretty stuffed, and they’re in desperate need of more TV time
Unpopular opinion: Roman should lose the universal title to Braun breaker however u spell his name from nxt 2.0 he has potential to be a main card star. It looks as if this nxt 2.0 is trying to build stars like John Cena, randy, Batista and Brock Lesnar basically OVW 2.0
I wouldn't say Big E is terrible. Whoever said that is just hating. I think he's had a decent run. My only grip about Big E is that he doesn't have that it/super mega star factor that Hogan, Savage, Taker, Hart, Michaels, Austin, Rock, Cena and now Roman has. Like Big E doesn't have his own gimmick, or that sell out seats attraction that those guys had and when he's on the mic it doesn't feel genuine at all to me. Don't get me wrong the guy deserves to be champ cause of the hard work he's put in but I just wish he/WWE would work on that megastar abilty
At least its refreshing. Or let's make Seth champion again... I'm tired of same faces as champions. Either big E should keep the belt or Kevin should take the belt (if he's not leaving)
@@KingOfThaDead64 just like Kofi Kingston Big E will ruin the prestige of the wwe championship as well. Hopefully Rollins wins the title from that clown.

He often overates AEW matches and underate or unnecessarily criticize WWE matches which starts the conflict.
Absolutely hate Dave.
They also make his opinion sound like straight facts like it doesn't matter how anyone thinks,Dave Meltzer is end all and be all of wrestling for them
Dave rated that 6 man tag spotfest at full gear more ratings than both Taker vs Shawn wm matches like why would anyone take him seriously
Idk who listened to that guy in the first place. Metlzer is like that guy who says stupid stuff just to stay relevant
Meltzer only care about 1hour matches without any storylines or anything related to character build-up. He just want to see flips and kicks and he is gonna rate it a 5 star match.
@@VinexAesthetics smarks
Bobby Lashley the only one who looked good with the title this year. He embodies the champion look! A boss character in a game you know you cannot defeat.
Agree 🔥
Esteemed Forehead of the Table, I have to disagree with your sentiments about CM Punk's return. It wasn't meaningless. It was about reintegration and reintroduction for him. Shaking off that rust.
I got one. I’m late, but I got one.
The only reasons Logan Paul was not accepted with (largely widely) open arms by pro wrestling fans is a mixture of
Not being who the fans want to see at the moment, which is fine
And people plain and simply not willing to swallow putting his past behind him, which is questionable because he’s improved light years as a human since the incident 5 WHOLE YEARS AGO
Big E is a decent champion, his matches were great so far, it's just his feuds who suck.
Nah he is a terrible champion so far and will get even worse
Low-key I think big Es story with Seth and Kevin Owens is good. the Roman story made sense for sure as well as the bobby lashley fued. I say it's good just make him a bit more badass like big e when he came out with the powder entrance slapping his hands with The powder
@@Pack52022 Owens and Rollins are carrying that feud
The only feuds I like was him against lashley Rollins and Owens
@@AriyanFarzadMahmud-nv9ww they're not. You don't know nothing about good talent if you think big e is terrible 😆
He himself has no ambition to change
what would be really great is seeing the behind the scenes/bloopers of the greatone's videos
Sheamus is my favourite wrestler. I think the main reason he was underappreciated for so long is residual hate from salty Daniel Bryan fans
What do you mean!? Big E's story with Roman Reigns showed how great he can play a serious role when you disrespect his family. Big E is as much championship material as Drew McIntyre
Well he can, the priblem is he won't and he refuses to change
No he ain’t, he’s just a silly gimmick that can’t hang with the main eventers if he doesn’t change his gimmick. Like he probably will never be wwe champion after this. People like r truth or Christian bust their ass for years, stay with the company for many years and don’t get a wwe title shot? Like they since McIntyre they have been giving the title for undeserving people except maybe lashley.
Randy not only deserves to be 17 time world champion he should also win royal rumble twice and break royal rumble record ❤️❤️
Haven’t watched wwe in years and Big E is actually a WWE champion that’s crazy LMAOOO
Wwe champ doesnt mean anything now... Kofi kingston made it irelevant
@@TaiLung145 what? Don't mind the fact that the last few runs have been really solid besides Randy back in 2020
Big E as wwe champion is sickening
To be completely honest...big e as WWE champion seems awfully dull. I mean he's not a championship material. His character is bland asf just like all baby faces.
Is Big E being champ really that "crazy?" It's been known that Vince wanted he or Roman to become the face of wwe when both were down in fcw. Vince chose Roman, but it isn't that shocking that he would still want to push Big E as well.
At start my man just spoke the truth even world war 3 is nothing compare to wwe vs aew fan Bois fight 😎💪💪🔥🔥🔥

Cringe
He doesn't need to turn heel though. We already have too many heels and there's no logical reason for him to turn heel.
Sure because turning someone heel is always the fucking solution somehow even though his current title reign is good where its at
@@JamesJones-kb7zx Well honestly, it's almost always the solution with champions.
@@wwef6lr good point. At the time I wrote this, didn’t really seem like that to me.
In my opinion, Carmella's gimmick isn't bad, but they don't know what they're doing with it.
Also, Lone Wolf Corbin should've won the world title when he had the money in the bank
I agree I liked that Baron Corbin the most he seemed badass and aggressive
He was supposed to but he criticized wwe healt program on the internet so he got punished
First fans bark to push a Random superstar than they call him booring 🙄
From this we can know that wwe know who to push big example Roman reigns the saw something in him
Bruh they tried for 7 years before they succeeded.Roman till 2020 was bad ( except his shield run)
The great one with another amazing video
I don't know where the notion of judging someone based on a world title reign that has lasted 2 months comes. Even at that Big E has carried himself like a champ in everything he has done. Those banger matches with Lashley, McIntyre and Reigns have already cemented him as a high level performer. He is in middle of a unique feud with Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins and I am loving every second of his reign even though I felt he became champ without any build, two months ago
Too me the mjf and cm punk promo depended a little too much on the WWE references but that just me
AEW was created out of hatred against wwe. Even though aew is a good show but at the same time they continuously take shots against the wwe just for clout or something. Kinda sad if you ask me
People fighting about which is better AEW or WWE just like wrestling
Unpopular opinion: Sasha Banks is overrated she is not good as people making her out to be. She can be good and sloppy/botchy in the ring, and her promos are not good and she don't have a character all she does is call herself “The Boss" and yet still till this day haven't done anything to call herself that and she trying to act sassy bit*hy and the results are not good and cringey.
And you can pretty much say the same thing about Becky Lynch
I love McAfee tbh he is hilarious , he sometimes roasts wrestlers & Michael Cole absolute moments

How about drew vs lesner again with the live WWE universe this time ?

Another unpopular opinion: Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are the perfect commentary team. Good heel commentator vs a good face commentator. Also, I just love whenever Corey picks on Byron 😂😂😂.
The Miz is underrated
Unpopular Opinion: Not enough people respect Dolph Ziggler 🤷🏻♂️
He’s had a quietly amazing career.

The real mark will never say NXT 2.0 is better than the original
