Lovely Tidy Van. I'm Mr Tidy and my van has been a mess for the past 20 years. Get your self a trailer so you can remove green waste. Mercedes Sprinter or Vw Crafter MWB is best van. You can also make loads of money moving houses in winter. 1000 a day. Best of luck.
Thanks for the tipoff on the leaf grabber. It never occurred to me that design existed and it looks a lot better than traditional plastic hands. I only had 1 plastic hand following a divorce and was about to order another pair. Now I've ordered your ones which seemed good value too.
Vans seem like they make everything easier. I want one. I'm all electric and it would be nice to have room to charge batteries. Great video and van. Watching from Galveston Island, Texas. 👍🏼#30 from me.
Hey, vans are great. Very much a cultural thing van versus pick up trucks in England / Europe they are common place I had a pick up at first. I loved it but just too limited on space, I guess I probably needed a trailer. The property sizes are just too small here I wouldn’t be able to park up. Good point about the battery stuff! Might see a shift in vans over in the states in the next few years when battery tech really takes over. Thanks for watching
@@Grassrootspodcast lol… yep, 🥶 I’m hanging out inside my garage, putting together a large bid for my Forest property. I’m not a big fan of winter, but extremely blessed to have work available. Keep going strong my Brother…. Love yourself and put out those VIBES… success will FOLLOW 💪💪💪✌️😎
Thanks Nick. Yeah I’m in debate about those two. I must admit I have brought the spade out a couple of times ad hoc. Will definitely be a couple of additions and at this rate the spade is winning 😂.
I've just come across your channel..m your van setup look nice and tidy 👌🏾 I only started using the wolf garten tools towards the end of last year but they are absolutely brilliant! Looking forward to your videos this year 👍🏾
Hey Jordan, thanks for taking a look. The majority of wolf tools are amazing. The wooden handles are worth an investment. I though people just bought them to be posh. So I never invested for years. They’re so much better to use. When I get a few minutes I’m planning on filming a rating video on the whole collection.
You would have a fit if you saw my van. I have a smaller van and twice as many tools in it, but I always know where the tool I need is, under everything else generally! 🤣
Hey thanks for subbing 👍 A few reasons but it boils down to efficiency that we carry two mowers. I usually have a helper so 1 mows the other strims and blows. Let’s say the rear lawn is larger than the front say I might jump on and mow the front so I’m not waiting. They are also different sizes I do a lot of small student houses so the smaller mower is better but I don’t want to loose efficiency when I’m on a larger lawn later on.It also serves just in case of breakdown Not really essential and if I was on my own I would only use 1 Hope that helps thanks for watching :)

Hi there good van layout 👍what size screws do you use on the ply lining ? My van is double ply lined but I’m nervous about how far I can screw into it . I have ordered some of those clips you used on rear doors for wolf tools as they look great ! I have had thicker ply put in rear doors which cover the whole door which is great . Regards Andrew chapman
Thanks, so it’s a 6mm ply. On the lighter clips and attachments etc I used a 20mm screw. For the larger black hooks I re-enforced it behind the ply line with a small frame. I was a little nervous screwing in to some panels so I just took it off to look better safe than sorry.
Hi As a older gardener, thinking of swapping from petrol to battery operated tools, how do you find them,, compared to petrol, and where’s the best place to get them, Regards adrian from white Rose gardening
Hey, so I use the ego combi and an ego strimmer. Personally I think they are great much lighter and just as capable. The strimmer is amazing on those long summer days. I’m hesitant to go much further towards battery at the moment, however when stuff breaks I may well replace with battery. I don’t feel the need to change stuff unless it is broken or you need to for health reasons.
Brilliant video mate, I have a lawn care business in Glasgow and found this interested and gave me a kick up the bum to get my van sorted! Quick question, I've seen on comments below you've posted the link to the clips, have you got a link to the other clips that the Woden wolf garten poles fit in? Also how did you attach them to the ply did you support it from behind ?
Thank you, so with the ply I took it off the wall and put extra supported behind for the big black hooks. Mainly because they were holding the strimmer and ego combi. The wolf poles are held by a spring clip and hook so it’s like a rest I’ll link them below. Good luck with renovation 👍
Have you thought of a battery charging system in the back for the Ego, or is that not necessary? We’ll be watching in 6 months to see if it’s still that clean inside!🤣
😂 I’m sure the walls will have some stories to tell by then. Yeah I’d love to mount the ego batteries but they don’t produce a branded one. Can find a couple on Etsy but they’re expensive after shipping costs. I’ll put some thought into it!
@@Grassrootspodcast i find it handy for just blowing the mess off after mowing quick neasy no pull starting no idling and for the quick times you use it the battery usauly lasts a day or two if bigger jobs then use the back pack one you have
You’ve been the inspiration for our van build. It’s worked out well so far. No trailer-no unloading anything and it’s a great place for a nap. 😂

i have the same ego trimmer! I was just trying to decide today whether to get a second battery or not. I think I shall! Thanks for sharing!
That is one well laid out van!! Congrats
Thank you
Nice & tidy van. I never quite had mine setup like that when I was gardening & tended to just throw all my stuff in lol.
😂 it’s making such a difference. I’m naturally so messy myself.
I enjoyed the breakdown of your setup and how you have everything laid out. Well done
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Nice to have a few minutes spare to really think about the placement of items. Don’t often get that in this business.
New to the channel. I'll look forward to following as the year goes by
Hi much appreciated. I have been watching your channel for a number of years.

Amazing van set up👍 well thought out
Thank you
Nice tidy set up 👍 Clips are great, must get some of those. Be careful with bungy cords though - they'll have your eye out given half a chance.
Thanks, that’s a thought about the bungees! Might look for a better option
Well laid out I did not see a spade or a bigger fork best of luck for the future

I get my stuff from Harlands my closest but not really close dealer.
can you tell us the name of the car? And can you tell us the length of the wolf sticks, since they have 1.40 and 1.70...thanks!

I didn't see a spade of fork?
Yeah I’m thinking about including those. Just debating whether I use them enough to justify taking them in and out of the van every night.
buy an ego battery hand blower you wont be disapointed
I was between the br600 and the ego in 2020. The dealer was concerned about battery life on the blowers. I might try and demo one later this year.
