You'll love the world of deukdeuk, SuA is the main lead with oscare worthy acting, SIyeon playes 3 characters in one scene, Dami is the done child, Minji is playing two roles and Gahyeon is the mistress. Oh also, the chemistry series by insomnicsy although it barely scratches the actual dynamic, it highlights a lot of their family dynamic.
Red Sun doesn't have an mv but it does have a special clip. Highly recommended especially for a guy lol. It feels like 6 witches are trying to hypnotize you 💀
Insomnicsy's channel has an endless supply of compilations about their personalities and she is a very good editor. Dreamcatcher Mind is the 10 episode reality show they made last year. There were several clips from it in this guide. The haunted hospital, the drinking party, Jiu's let's smash it, the airgun battle, Gahyeon screaming in terror etc.
Gahyeon and Handong were the noobs, so they've been room mates since Dreamcatcher debuted. When Handong went to China, Gahyeon stayed alone in their room rather than move in with one of the others. She really missed Handong and waited faithfully for her to return. When you're 22 a year is long time.

RoSE Blue doesnt have as many views because it wasnt treated as an official comeback like Deja vu with an album. it was a single OST to a mobile that hadnt event been released globally at the time. the song is great imo, but the game and its marketing is pretty crappy, not the best marriage.

I dont really have any must-see suggestions to add that havent been mentioned at some point, but you mentioned you're getting started on ATEEZ so I thought I mention that DC and ATEEZ actually have some of the same producers! LEEZ and Ollounder, DCs producers are in the credits of a lot of ATEEZ discography, as well as Oliv, who worked on Sua's solo No Dot, and Peperoni, who worked on Jiu's solo Cherry!

I agree, just watching Sua, Siyeon, and Yoohyeon interact gives the perfect chaotic energy to keep you entertained. I would also like to chill with Dami (in any room).
People have mentioned the "this is" series by insomnicsy, and for good reason. Its really funny and cute video series to further show you the members. In fact I recommend checking out the channel's videos in general even if you don't record them as they have made videos for just about every bit of content released.
I think it would be fun to do the album listens you talked about, Dreamcatcher has a great many bsides and in very different genres. Dystopia: The Tree of Language is a masterpiece.

Loving the Dreamcatcher reactions! Just adding a few suggestions now that you've reacted to the main MVs.
They have a few b-sides, namely 'Red Sun', 'Black or White', and 'Wind Blows' which they actually promoted on music shows either as a debut encore or to extend their promotional run. Both great tracks and plenty of content to react to as they also made special clips, official dance versions, relay dances, and live stages for some of those.
There's also their self-made mvs which have become a staple for each comeback. Those are 'SAHARA', 'Wind Blows', 'Poison Love', and '거미의 저주(curse of the spider)', the latter was only played during their first fanclub fanmeet and only has fancams. They usually film those in the music show waiting rooms and are some of the funniest content they've done.
Also, they've started releasing special clips for each of the solo songs in the latest (Apocalypse: save us) album. So far we've gotten JiU, Gahyeon, and Dami's clips, and the current timeline is once every two weeks.

Korean age: Official documents have used the International system for quite a long time and the new government announced in April that they were abolishing the traditional system completely, which is a little sad because I like the way it worked. Jiu and Sua are the same age and getting to the point where girl groups tend to cut back on group activity to pursue individual careers. I hope this isn't the last year they tour, but it could be. It's incredibly tiring to tour they way they do. Even Gahyeon, the maknae, was exhausted after their recent trips to Germany and Spain. Gahyeon likes to make Vlogs, so that's one more thing for your list.
I think they will continue abit longer. but honestly happy face don't really disband group? dalshabet are still not disbanded. idk to me dreamcatcher member don't really want to debut to other group, so they will stay for a long time for this reason. like CEO said "dreamcatcher forever"

Yes!! a guide has come. this was a good start to get to know their genuine personalities, long time friendship, and a bit of the discography.
I was personally was drawn to them because they were really talented and I enjoyed a lot of their songs. I listen too many genres and my thought was if it's a good song, ill support it regardless of the popularity of the group. And they just had really good songs.
Underappreciated I feel can describe them more than underrated because they have achieved a lot throughout the years even without the deserved 1st win on a music stage. Some beloved groups in Korea still haven't really travelled aboard or touch international radiowaves; so it's relative how you describe their "success".
Also, despite the long road you saw how they still work hard together and enjoy each others company. Im sure there were hard times they had to deal with individually but I love how they are honest with each other and lay it all out on the table. Hard to find girl groups like that.

Cider is from Norazo. And they love it, along with Shower, because Norazo are as crazy as Dreamcatcher are. Same chaotic energy, with a rock vibe.
The song you couldn't tell on the reality is actually the OST for a children's hanguk aeni with ducks/birds, I think. Can't remember how it's called. SuA tried her best convincing the host to sing it from the start, he kept scolding her and refusing. In the end, he started dancing to it, so they all stood up and started singing together. At some point before that, it was Siyeon who was caught singing that song, when she was excited because there was chicken for dinner!!!
Thanks for the video. This guide is a really nice one to watch, but it really just makes you want to watch more! I've seen you really look for live vocal perfs, so I'm recommending a group called Mamamoo (in case you haven't checked em out)! They're known to be one of the best girl groups in terms of vocals, and they mostly sing live as well ^^

Mamamoo started with "retro" era, so their debut and follow up song are under this genre (even their predebut stuff is more on the retro side):
Piano Man (the comeback after debut) is a fan favorite, but of course I would recommend their debut song, Mr. Ambiguous. One of the best debuts of 2014, and got the attention of the media and netizens bec they didn't sound/perform like a rookie at all.
Next is Mamamoo's "booming" era. This is when Mamamoo started to gain more fans, their first win + more wins going up to their peak. Mamamoo also kind of strayed away from their usual retro sound.
Um Oh Ah Yeh (start to gain more fans)
You're The Best (got their 1st win, 8 wins in total)
Decalcomanie (widening their audience, getting viral)
Yes I Am (getting 7 more wins)
I would recommend two songs from these four: Um Oh Ah Yeh and Decalcomanie.
Um Oh Ah Yeh because this was the song that made them get well known more. Every performance is different because of the adlibs that they come up each time. The MV is very unique too!
Decalcomanie is like a "darker, more mature" side of Mamamoo. This song didn't really gain attention until Mamamoo performed it in 37th Blue Dragon Film Awards, adding adlibs and mentioning actors/actresses, making the audience (including the actors) smile and enjoy. This was a hot topic bec that award show is notorious for having poker faces and non reactive audience.
Next era is their "4 seasons, 4 colors" project. In this project, each MAMAMOO member is assigned with a mini album, a color, and a season. Plus each album have a solo song from the representative member of said album.
Yellow and spring for Hwasa (Yellow Flower)
Red and summer for Moonbyul (Red Moon)
Blue and autumn for Solar (Blue;s)
White and winter for Wheein (White Wind)
I will recommend two again: Egotistic (from Red Moon) and Wind Flower (from Blue;s)
Egotistic bec I think this is a song that got Mamamoo more foreign fans, probably because of its concept and genre.
Wind Flower is the opposite of Egotistic. The only song in the project that didn't get any wins, but it is a fan fave within the fandom. Personally a favorite of mine too.
Mamamoo post Queendom era: Hip + AYA
I recommend Hip. It's their best performing song, and the MV have around 300M views. It's a song dissing their haters haha and in general to not listen to what ppl say, and that you're "hip" the way you are.
Mamamoo post contract renewal era (current): Where Are We Now + mumumumuch.
Where Are We Now is a song about Mamamoo and their feelings now that they've reached their 7th year, which mumumumuch is a song for their fans.
I recommend mumumumuch, as it has a more light feeling and fun vibe. But if you want the crazy vocals, go for Where Are We Now. It's a ballad song ^^
As of 2022, Mamamoo just celebrated their 8th year, and is planning for a group comeback and concert! ^^
