I had to help remove many pcb ballasts on a job before I knew much about it. Sometimes removing blast shields from fixtures caused yellow and black dust to fall out around these things. I don't remember hearing much about PCB's during OSHA courses, but I do remember an older worker telling our class we had no idea the sacrifices to our health we made removing some of this material.
@@bsanchez3563 it's still a risk, especially if you have to do with electic equipment, and especially transformers are a nightmare, if you are lucky the oil in them does not contain PCB but it probably does even if it was changed in the early 2000s. PCB is everywhere in paint in joint material (if it's old and still flexible, there is prbably PCB) here in europe many buildings I see on a daily basis have tons of it

What class year was that may I ask? Jist curious if it is a risk today like asbestos is or if it can not really pretty micj be of any risk now.

PCB can also be found in yellow paint/dye
