When your 10/12/15 can all play first receiver you have 3 playmakers on the field. I expect entertaining rugby! My boys delivered from the worst start we’ve had to any season to 2nd on the log and only 1 point behind the top.
We are gonna miss gelant. He's been great this season. But, blommetjies might be our next aplon. Seems to be a great understanding between the back line players and team in general.
galant brings collision dominating power to the attack that is the special sauce for pulling that second defender.....just enough....to release those around him like Zas, Libok and Senatla. Blommetjies doesn't. Finding the balance between strength, skill, speed, defence.....sooooo very difficult and it seems that Dobbo designed, stumbled, lucked (take your pick based on your own views on Dobbo) his way into it. Blommetjies puts us one notch too far towards nippy and fast and I fear we will lose the balance.
Herschel was the FIND of 2019. He had that "first season magic" (also known as..."the opposition haven't worked you out yet") that was ruthlessly exploited by Rassie to great success. "the little man with the miracle touch". but be clear about this....Paul de Wet is the real deal. I have been fortunate enough to have watched a number of Stormers games live this season. Herschel is nowhere. I will be concerned if Nienaber expects miracles out of him again this season.
I disagree. Put De Wet in that Springbok camp for a season and you’ll see they’ll coach his natural play out of him and get him to play the Springboks high pressure, low possession game. Boks is all about territory.
@@jamiebrown1235 your point about the boks training the natural play out of a talented player, aside (it is a different discussion after all).....im talking about Herschel in the stormers set up. dont get me wrong, I dont have anything against him at all. for all i care he should go on to be the next FdP or George Gregon. im just calling what i am seeing on the field of play, this season, at the stormers. Herschel is struggling and Paul de Wet is bringing a lot more to the game.
SA beat NZ and Aus many times too.The time zone is much better suited with playing the Northern hemisphere teams instead of going to 3 different countries in the east then going all the way West to Argentina which made the traveling and schedule ridiculous.
That was Great Stormers tries this season part 1 of 25. I also remember a few against Leinster. Those were particularly palpable.

Tjo - that stormer's wing is super fast, hope we use him in world cup.
Stormers are playing some real entertaining rugby
Well... looks like the Boks have found themselves a new flyhalf.
Libbok is incredible with ball in hand
If the Springboks are not going to include Libbok, Roos and Galant in this year's test matches, than something is amiss.
I really love rickus pretorius's play too. His offload and playmaking skills are outstanding.
I hope you extend this video at the end of the season
Yip, I will

Why are South Africa s Teams playing up northern hems..they didnt do to well in Super Rugby...Australia n NZ teams tearing thm apart
The super rugby schedule was awful. 5 weeks on the road. Terrible jet lag. It was stacked against SA teams.
@@mikezog1030 & those terribly objective ANZAC refs
