I am overwhelmed by seeing Abid's love for India but I will have to disagree with the part where he said 'India will overtake China in 5-6 years'.
Economically it will take us atleast 20 years to overtake China. Ya we can overtake US by 2034 according to projections of GDP.
If China starts Taiwan war or something unexpected happens then it is different case and in that case india can very well overtake China in 10-12 years 🥰

@@Shresatyt ok, let me first clarify my agreement with him. i am not saying he is 100 % right but I feel at the momentum we are in baring any unforeseen circumstances , we will surpass china based on many factors. i am not going to go in detail. how many times in the past have you seen IMF , UN , world bank and others getting it wrong or when countries have surpassed their analysis? ok lets just say we hit in 7-8 yrs. its still right. lets not be too rigid in the numbers. i still remember when i used to say that india will be a powerhouse many yrs back , people laughed at me, they are own indians. to know whether we can surpass china , first you must analyse the truth about how badly china is doing. in my own analysis , though I am not an expert they are doing far far more worst than one can imagine. IMF's assesment about China 's current growth , or even last year is not true. they can assess china;s real data. china's population itself is not true. then its GDP itself is a bull. ( current and last 2 years. what it has achieve years and years back is not true with the current. china is in a real mess right now. ia m betting on india surpassing them in 6-8 yrs.

The fact that China is performing poorly is clearly addressed in the reports and this is why India will surpass china at one point.
If both India and China will be growing at same pace, then the GDP gap will never shrink and remain constant for an infinite amount of time.
Reports of IMF, UN and other such organizations are released Yearly which takes care of all new internal and International developments of a country.
I am proud to be Indian but it doesn't mean I will be delusional.
India's GDP is $3.737 Trillion while China's is $19.373 Trillions. The gap is too big to be covered in 5-6 years
