I usually watch your hunts the second you post them. This one I had to wait for the perfect time to watch. So here I sit looking at elk in a snow storm. Sam the man! I will never forget our conversation together about hunting. I will never forget that smile.. See you on the other side buddy..
This video is cherished now by friends and family. I know it will be cherished by his two young children when they are old enough to watch it. I wish I had something like this of my own father. Thank you on behalf of his children and wife--my family.
That's definitely one of my favorite Kodiak deer hunting films I have ever seen. It's hard to believe Sam didn't make it. He looked young and healthy. What a tragedy.
Lost my brother last Xmas at 30 years old. Hunting partners in the afterlife. My condolences. Every adventure will be different from here on out. Wish I had more memories recorded. Thank you for sharing.
What an epic adventure of a hunt, so glad you got this kind of last hunt with your brother. I lost my twin brother and hunting partner a month ago, so glad we got his big bull elk last year even though I had just gotten thru shoulder surgery, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Thank you for sharing your adventures and good times with all of us. My condolences to his family and all of you. We will always remember them when we are up in the mtns hunting forever!!
Such an amazing hunt. Hard that it’s your last hunt with Sam, but such an amazing last hunt with him in bodily form. He will be with you guys on every hunt in spirit. Condolences.
Really really enjoyed watching this! Sam and I were good buddies in high school and had a lot of good times together. What a tragedy that he’s gone. He was a really really good guy.
Can’t say enough for the love and camaraderie felt for Sam by his brothers at the Mountain Project. I know this must have been extremely difficult to put together! I had a lump in my throat and my eyes might have leaked a bit! Well done Chase and crew! Holding your crew and Sams family up in prayer! 🙏💪🏼❤️
Super awesome video! Sam seemed like the kind of guy that leaves an impression on all who had the good fortune to know him. Pray his family continues to find comfort in the good memories and great support you guys continue to provide!
Sorry to hear about the loss, the good ones get taken way too early from us, he'll always be there with yall on every hunt. No matter what no one can ever take the wonderful memories made on each and every hunt. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!! Keep the great content coming fellas
Once you have been to Alaska, it gets in your blood. So vast and wild and unpredictable, great video! I am sorry for the loss of your friend, cancer is so unfair!
Glad to see you boys back posting vids...and in one of my favorite places! Hunted Kodiak 5 times or so when stationed at Elmendorf AFB mid-late 90s. Such a fun hunt...at that time could get 4-5 Deer. Area also loaded with fox and good sea duck hunting. Glad to see you all get get some descent bucks and a few Harlequin Ducks. Sure looked like you AZ boys were freezing your asses off though, haha. At least you had a warm dry boat to go back every night. Anyway, congrats on your critters and thanks for the excellent video!
Sorry for your lose. We just booked a trip like this. I cant wait to experience this with my friends and family in a few yrs. What time of yr were you there? Looks like you made a life time of memories
Gents - at 8:33 I'm seeing Chase skinning that buck. I'd be interested in how you went about that process to tube skin it, or whatever the style was. Did you cut up the spine or up each leg and along the belly to get it off as cleanly as possible? Super curious.
I cut up each leg and the belly. I saved the whole hide to tan it. I euro’d the skull, but wanted a rug on the cape. It was super nice. I’m hoping to get it back any day now.

beautiful cryptorchid buck, you guys should post some info on those bucks, pretty unique deer.
That’s a good idea. We’ll get on it.
May you walk in peace and light with the Creator Sam.
Special times.

А что за оптика, что за труба?
How did Sam pass?
Cancer
No audio...is it just me?
Just you
