It kinda kills me that he ended up singing all of those songs at the end of his life. It's unclear why his own music did not prevail. I guess he gave people what they wanted because he needed the money.
There’s an interviews where he talks about only making a record if it was sure of a commercial success. This is sad because it really restricts your creative vibes. I guess he always needed to make money.
