12:04 I've tried Chimeras as a commander strategy before, but with Gnostro, Voice of the Crags. It was a surprisingly solid deck. I used artifact recursion instead of creature recursion to get my Chimeras back. Those Chimera tokens are pretty good with Proliferate (though what isn't?) because they are +2/+2 tokens.
Idea for Inquisitor Eisenhorn. First off I love the idea of changing the legend rule with the aforementioned cards but, what about playing around the legend rule with cards like gravepact and dictate of erbos. Could be a good source of removal. When you sac your 4/4 or the copy, the legend rule takes effect you sac one or the other and force your opponents to do the same. Idk seems like it could be a fun build around. I love your channel btw. My favorite MTG content
Vanquish the Horde in Mavinda is kinda sick because the cost reduction works on Mavinda’s tax. If there are 14 creatures on the battlefield, you can cast it for 2.
@@edhdeckbuildingyes! Honestly, as soon as I understood the tax part of the effects I wondered how to circumvent it, like "you can cast it for free" and similar. This could be veeeeeery interesting! Also, beware of "mass targets", i.e. cards that don't have specific targets like "wraths" cards Also, o guess that "Pull from Eternity" and "Isochrone Scepter" will be good friends there!
3:05 you could use the vast amount of things in black and dimir identitoes to sacrifice it (like "Ghoulcaller Gisa", "Whisper, Blood Liturgist", "Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar", "Priest of forgotten Gods", lots of other creatures that have "tap, sacrifice a creature: do X"
I'm actually building a rukarumel sliver/dinosaur deck, since it all kind of had that "discover life" vibe. I think it will play nicely, we'll have to see.
I think what’s neat about Eisenhorn is that you can build around both abilities pretty effectively. I’ve always thought of him as very well rounded commander in that you are encouraged to run more instant and sorcery’s and to keep mana open to crack a clue each turn. Keeping that mana open goes back to the first ability in that you are also prepared to cast some interaction. 10/10 would build
I built an eisenhorn Voltron w artifact payoffs. Evasion and protection plenty. cranial plating and nettlecyst for the big smacks. Deck needs some more reps but Dimir voltron seemed pretty unique to me 😋
My Rukarumel deck is full of all kinds of tribal cards that buff that tribe eg Voja, Rapahel, Be'lakor, Fangorn. So I can choose what tribe I need at that time, or once Maskwood gets out everything buffs everything. I call it my tribal, tribal deck.
Blinking is how I built Mavinda. Because I don't have enough blink spells, it's a weird ETB/control/lifegain/token deck..that gets stupidly complicated interactions, especially when Panharmonicon or MOM Norn is involved. It also goes virtually infinite with any ETB doubler, Restoration Angel, and Felidar Guardian. It's all fun and games until your opponents realize that your Skyclave Apparition or Angel of Serenity is going to lock them out of creatures.
Jeweled Lotus getting banned took a huge chunk outta my Glissa deck lol Still crazy powerful, but damn was it fun essentially spamming mana generation 😂
Wake up, honey. New five builds video just dropped!
I have a super fun Build-A-Chimera deck built around the Visions cycle, not high power by any means but a lot of fun
Rukarumel 5 color demon tribal with Liliana's Contract. Sounds kind of fun.
Biotransference and Skirge Familiar are great cards in a Glissa Deck

That's what I thought. This would be a great aristocrats build, making a token that dies every turn

wow. great idea

with the meren idea of putting creatures in the gy and getting them back, i also run stuff like street wraith and the swamp/forest cycling creatures.
Nice to see Mavinda getting a little love. I have a Mavinda Flicker deck. I've literally never seen anyone else play Mavinda... ever.

Inquisitor makes ¡legendary! demons

I love the artwork on Mavinda, just wish the ability was better. Hopefully we'll get a new one when we return to Arcavios.
i actually put the deck together in paper
Sliver Gravemother is fun as 5 color Encore.
With Rukarumel and Maskwood Nexus like effects, you can Encore any creature, including Legendaries.
Here for Rukarumel!

Biotransference turns Glissa into a better Meren
Can use fleshwrither in meren too
i made a skeleton tribal Meren deck. talk about nerfing a strong commander.
Why do you continue to use the word tribal rather than kindred.
FIRST 🎉
Warhammer MTG cards so awesome 😎
easily my favorite UB set
@edhdeckbuilding my mission is to secure the last two precons I need. Black Necron and the Temur one.
