Proof that Barry is the golden standard of what a husband should be
He does put up with quite a lot like "You are not the Flash Barry, we are." I don't for a second blame Candice Patton I think the writers for whatever reason struggled to write her. Whoever wrote the scenes between Barry and Patty should have been in charge of going through every script regarding Iris. To make sure she was as consistently written, the way we see Clark and Lois being written. I get that Barry has loved Iris for longer and that sort of thing can create an unbalance, but sometimes it feels like the writers thinks Iris doesn't love Barry as much as he loves her. That she is more with him because knowing they are together in other timelines and that he will always treat her as his number 1 priority. This video and song felt like it could have been in the episode.

Haha thanks! And yup, I'm sure she whipped up a mean quiche in 3x10! But I needed a clip and the first thing that came to mind was the scene I used from 2x10, when she jokes about how she doesn't want to subject Wally to her bad cooking. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

I could say they both look cute together. It basically felt like these two grew up together and yet it truly felt like they were meant for one another. These two basically had another wedding disrupt in Supergirl but in any future episode in Season 4,I would hope to see their wedding go all the way. :) Even though,this version of The Flash is not in the DCEU,it had me won over in a way,especially with Iris` dazzling looks. Candice Patton really fits Iris for me. But when The DCEU Flash film is released in 2020,I would try to feel the depth of Ezra Miller and Kiersey Clemons.

Father figure and an actual father is two different things. Lol Joe is his other father figure for being there but Henry is still his dad. Joe always saw him as a son in law and Barry became just that.
