Gosh, I miss the 90s sooo much. This song takes me back to my youth, an era of no social media, surveillance state, war on terror, pandemic, etc. It was a more innocent, although by no means perfect time.
That was always the illusion. You are basically saying you miss living in the matrix, because all that changed is your eyes are open to the real world we've always lived in.
I can relate! I miss the 90s too, everything you said and absolutely the music was great, especially considering the music of today. I can't stand the sound of auto tuned voices and it seems like that is all I hear when involuntary listening to it. Maybe they had that in the 90's, I don't know, but I didn't notice it. Maybe it's the latest trend -- to sound like a robot.
LOL--video cameras became ubiquitous in the '90s but there was a musical renaissance for sure in the first half of that decade (before it got shit again for good) and it was more mellow. The USA was definitely hijacked during the 2000 election, with 9/11 happening a year later. The Deep State coup on Election Day/January 6th is in is death spiral thankfully.
I don’t know why but I’ve always been really fascinated with innocent sounding female singers. There’s a certain purity to the way six pence, abba, michelle branch, etc all sound that’s just comforting to listen to.
@Snatcher Claus offense was obviously intended being if you're talking about pro choice then I wouldn't agree with you, not all conservatives are Christian and not all liberals aren't sinning or supporting a cause that may be son doesn't mean satanic if I'm correct (though not 100% sure) actual Satanism is about being one with nature and not being pro death and everything good.
@Snatcher Claus you haven't supported you're reason for calling the left satanist though I could say the same about the right and how they are exploiting the religion of people less fortunate than them and pandering for votes to get more power whereas in the last couple of years I haven't seen the left doing the same
I don't care what people say this song is or isn't about. It always reminds me of someone in particular, someone I can't stop myself thinking about all the time. There she goes. There she goes again, racing through my brain. 🤯😥

I used to hear this song so much when I was a little kid, and this really brings back memories and powerful nostolgia; now whenever I hear this tune I wish I could go back in time and experience that time all over again, except as a teenager.
There's really nothing like the feeling of hearing a song that you really liked back in the day all these years laters. I mean a lot of people discover these songs down the line. But if you liked it back then, then you hear it now, the nostalgia hits different. (If that made sense.)😅
Oh that makes perfect sense. I will always remember the girl that would pulse through my veins every time I heard this song (Also Kiss Me by the same artist) She, of course, didn't feel the same way for me. This song brings all that back, but being married now, and with all those years behind me, it's only the sweet nostalgia that remains. (Along the with "This feeling that remains", of course!😊)
This song brings back a feeling, an emotion of a time before a drastic shift of reality. Becker, Everybody loves Raymond, Eckerd stores, and blockbuster... let’s make the present just as good, and the future better for those who come after.

You said that perfectly. 👌🏼
I don’t know why but I’ve always been really fascinated with innocent sounding female singers. There’s a certain purity to the way six pence, abba, michelle branch, etc all sound that’s just comforting to listen to.
Maybe because thats how women should be. But i guess liberals and Feminists destroyed womens innocece and purity. Hehe.
@@drei9 not sure if it was a joke but I would put money on almost all of the artists named were feminist and or liberal
@Snatcher Claus I mean kind of hard to understand liberals being satanic but at the same time probably still feminist if not liberal
This song always echoed in my mind when I walked my toddler daughter to school 🏫 😌 lovely days.

The nostalgia tour continues. Man, I can listen to these songs and it takes me back to those days. So many memories tied to these.
When I was in my childhood, my school bus driver had this playing. It just instantly brightened my mood and made that woman a core memory for me. I can barely remember her face now, but I hope she is well. Much love

I grew up in the '60s and '70s. Most people tend to love the music of their growing years, as I do. But I've discovered that in every generation, there is good music. In the '90s a friend gave me a CD of music and this was on it along with Kiss Me. Just love it.
This song is so 90s it makes me feel like I'm there again. Beautiful cover of a legendary song.
People fawning about the "90's creativity" on an 80's cover video.

I love this version of the song and this singer. She's totally awesome!
I used to hear this song so much when I was a little kid, and this really brings back memories and powerful nostolgia; now whenever I hear this tune I wish I could go back in time and experience that time all over again, except as a teenager.
She's got like the sweetest voice. Some of the 90's best.
The 90s music was the child of the 80s music! Great decades in my youth!!!
Well this song was written in 1988 by a British band so it IS 80's music
Wow one of my all time favorite songs. Beautiful voice and looks to match. ❤
My daughter was learning to walk when this song came out... we sang it a lot.... a long time ago

There's really nothing like the feeling of hearing a song that you really liked back in the day all these years laters. I mean a lot of people discover these songs down the line. But if you liked it back then, then you hear it now, the nostalgia hits different. (If that made sense.)😅
I can relate to what you've shared 😊
@@blu3j00Ls such a bittersweet feeling. You remember those good times then you realize you're years past that point. Oh well. Life. 😅
Absolutely !
💯
Oh that makes perfect sense. I will always remember the girl that would pulse through my veins every time I heard this song (Also Kiss Me by the same artist) She, of course, didn't feel the same way for me. This song brings all that back, but being married now, and with all those years behind me, it's only the sweet nostalgia that remains. (Along the with "This feeling that remains", of course!😊)
Magical unforgettable moments, if only i could be 16yrs again...😢
We all have said that
This song brings back a feeling, an emotion of a time before a drastic shift of reality. Becker, Everybody loves Raymond, Eckerd stores, and blockbuster... let’s make the present just as good, and the future better for those who come after.
The 90's was so great huh ? It was the most violent decade in human history and was the peak of gang related warfare across the entire world. More people died of violence in the 90's than any other decade.
90s... Make me proud !!! Back when music was good...
There's still some really good music out there now. You're just listening to shit artists.
Born in 1960 I grew up with wonderful music, all types, this is a beautiful melody that brings a smile everytime
Leigh Nash is such an angel. When she was on Letterman's show he asked her if he could come to her hotel.

I LOVE THE 90s! even though I was born early 90s thanks to having older brothers (born 78 and 84) I really got the chance to experience it. Let me tell you the culture, music, fashion and everything will always be something special to me!!!! I hate that we cant go back in time lol

I simply can't get over how beautiful this song is. There really isn't enough slow pop like this
This song is about heroin
@@googlechicken Doesn't make it any less beautiful. A lot of music about drug addiction is expertly crafted and emotionally moving. A handful of songs by Falling in Reverse. Master of puppets Metallica, CG kid Hungry Ghost, and many Juice Wrld songs.
@@googlechicken Doesnt matter. People care too much about the message to the point where songs today are just slow rap.
You can thank Lee Mavers of the La’s who wrote and released the proper version 7 years earlier.
@@googlechicken the band that originally wrote this song says it's not about heroin, and this version is by a Christian rock band, so it would be kind of inappropriate for them. It seems that some people took the metaphorical lines about "racing through my veins" a little too literally.
I may be a bit older but its songs like this that make me proud to have been a kid / teenager in the 90's . I wouldn't trade it in the last greatest era for anything
