Started watching your vids in highschool about 6 years ago. Got my first reef tank about 5 years ago because of your vid’s. Last summer my reef tank inspired me to get my scuba certifications. I finish university this year and this summer I start working in underwater archaeology in the Caribbean. Honestly don’t know if I would be where I’m at if I didn’t click on one of your videos way back when.
Yea it is, it’s pretty overstocked too. Also a very weird shape. Not a lot of fish benefit from tank where they can only swim in circles. So while it’s a big tank, it’s still too small and too circular for these fish in particular. Which honestly isn’t surprising. A lot of the time in these countries they tend to not take care of fish like we would suggest or like to see. It’s common for them to keep bettas in 1/4 gallon tanks and stuff like that, where as we know bettas really need 5 gallons filtered and heated. It’s just a culture thing unfortunately.
@Kate Lynch what do you mean “these countries”? You would never see Bettas stuck in a tiny cup in a store where I’m from, you do all over the States though. You wouldn’t see the awful state of the care at lot of places like petco. And you don’t see goldfish kept in bowls or tiny tanks like you do all over American tv so think before you comment stuff like that
I've been subscribed to your channel for about 6-7 years... that was literally before you had facial hair or moved to college now you have 1 million subscribers. Thats awesome. My tank is still up and running. Just felt to say hello and wish you the best. God bless.
Nice people, very cool tank and amazing fish, but the arapaima should be in a bigger tank or indoor pond. And hopefully they take out the extra food after the feedings and test the water:)
still rather cramped in my opinion for a larger individual. they are the kind of fish that needs a humungous tank but preferably a very large pond. they
That tank is far too small for the arapaima. You can even see the damage on their mouths where they’ve obviously hurt themselves on decor or the glass. While I understand this is an interesting concept you need to use your platform to show and promote good care, not inappropriate care.
I REMEMBERED MY TH-cam PASSWORD!! 😂LOL . Sorry for the delay everyone, we spent the last month fulfilling all my 12g tank kit orders, and building the course out for that. WE GOT SOME FIRE VIDEOS ROLLING OUT FAST NOW THO. 🔥💨 Mall pond video is here!! 👉 bit.ly/3tTZ4Tp
See you soon lol. Have. Good day! You probably won't respond to this but if you do I will be really great full! I saw you at aquashella 2021! Look forward to seeing you this year also!!
I love these trip vids! What adventures! A word of caution about grabbing an arapaima, they have a very solid plate on their heads that facilitates their ability to charge when threatened, the biologist Jeremy wade was charged by one in the Amazon while trying to grab one and it hit him in the sternum and gave him chest pains for months.
hiko, sorry if i said his name wrong is such a great guy to have around, full of knowledge about every fish. Would be so fun to bring him to all my fish stores haha
GEORGE! I dont know if you remember me from aquashella last year, but congratulations on hitting 1 MILLION subscribers. THAT IS MORE THAN AN AVERAGE *CITY* OF PEOPLE HAS!!! keep up the grind! i love ur videos!
Always enjoy watching your videos& love learning new things here&there. Watching frm Australia(Qld). Congrats on 1mill subs👍🏻🎉☺️I've got 2 small tanks I'm proud of(living in small apartment atm). My tanks bring me joy🐠🐟
“We wouldn’t learn about them without this” yet we incarcerated these fish to “see them” Through our tiny boxes in our hands. What a magnificent fail of human technology
Hello I think you start vlogging was 2018 or 2019 cause that time I don't have phone yet so Im going to computer shop and watch fish video so I always see your vids that time
depends on what you mean. largest fish is the whale shark, largest bony fish is probably between oarfish for length and ocean sunfish for weight. belugas are not exclusively freshwater and will go in water with different salinity unlike fully freshwater arapaima but beluga are larger

Isn’t the tank too small for those huge fish?
I think its to small for the arapaima

@@dannymanny6397 bro chill. I speak from experience. Not from assumptions and shit
From an underdevoleped country all the bettas in all the storeas are all in tiny.
Cups or are in i big tank shared with 20 others
*Congrats on 1M, George! See ya at Aquashella in Orlando?! 🚀*
pretty impressive that they've managed to overstock a 5000g tank ngl
Your vieos got me into the hobby! Thank you!
Great video 💪🏾

Amazing aquarium no doubt, even 5k gallons is or well, seems to be too small for that Pima
yeah it seems cruel
Nice people, very cool tank and amazing fish, but the arapaima should be in a bigger tank or indoor pond. And hopefully they take out the extra food after the feedings and test the water:)
Started watching you a few years ago then got into the hobby. Now I’m working for the uk’s leading aquatics company thank you for inspiring me
Coral fish 12g hit 1 million subscribers congrats!
Still not big enough for the arapaima in it though. That's kind of f ed up. That thing needs at least a 20ish ft long tank.

Stop wasting your time
That really is very small for a arapaima

Thank you Idol from The Philippines ❤️❤️
Wow 💖.
title: "that's right i'm the biggest aquarium!"
the 1.25 million gallon reef tank in Ripley's aquarium in Toronto: "do you mind saying that again?"
That tank seems too small for the arapaima
Very nice 👍
I want this in my house! Looking forward to the pond video
Never clicked so quickly on a video
Come to Tennessee's Ripley aquarium you'll find aquariums far bigger than the one that you just seen and posted a video on
Beautiful 😍
Wow I'm early what nice day
This is so cool!

Did u get a chance to film the filtration room? I helped with this project
George your videos really inspire me to continue in this hobbie keep up with the GREAT WORK!!!!!
Oh that’s weird 😂😂😂
I’ve been there by accident 💀 there’s also a giant pond on the outside with a massive arapaima
I want to go but I have a fear of giant fish
@@TreyDa3rd22 funny thing, the arapaima outside is double or more the size of the one on the aquarium inside
Even though I'm scared of giant fish It's fun to see giant fish it gives me chills
I blame you for the 4 fish tanks taking up my whole room. Love your vids :)
That's nice
1 M 🔥🔥🔥🔥
woww. amazing gorgiee
You need to try and do a video with Andrea Sandler at his home aquarium.
Wow amazing aquarium for the first time I see a aquarium that inside a tree hahahah
Bro i watched you before your subs are only 725k now 1M subs keep it up man
If you look at the arapaimas lip, there is scaring from it hitting the glass. That tank is way too small for that size of fish.
Amazing
Can wait for aquashella just got tickets
please more videos I miss you
Hai goerge I love your content.... I want to ask you a question but I forgot what's my question lol
We put a magnificent creature in a tiny box to makeup for our insecurities related to our disconnect from nature and living in our own tiny boxes!
“We wouldn’t learn about them without this” yet we incarcerated these fish to “see them”
Through our tiny boxes in our hands. What a magnificent fail of human technology
“He’s not responsible for this tank” did I ever say that?
Can you do a saltwater pond please
Hello I think you start vlogging was 2018 or 2019 cause that time I don't have phone yet so Im going to computer shop and watch fish video
so I always see your vids that time
Isn't the beluga sturgeon the largest fish? They can get 15-20 feet.
Yeah, he was a wee bit off
depends on what you mean. largest fish is the whale shark, largest bony fish is probably between oarfish for length and ocean sunfish for weight. belugas are not exclusively freshwater and will go in water with different salinity unlike fully freshwater arapaima but beluga are larger
looking to get into the hobby I saw you stop at the gingerbread fish store and that's really close to where I live cant wait to start my own tank
The “Largest aquarium“ really isn’t that large lol. Still cool though.
It... isn't the largest one... so that's why
How thick is the glass used on those type of aquariums?
