On a road TT bike I'd say most of them can't go any wider then 28's. This Kanzo fast can take up to 42's on a 700c wheel, but gravel bikes aren't really TT bikes as such. The handlebars are more for comfort over long distances then they are for actual aero gains.
@@Iron883Man you're right about comfort but at the pointy end of racers it is absolutely a out the aero gains. Massive watt savings when you are averaging 20mph.
I test rode a newer Ridley Kanzo last Fall. I own a Ridley X-Fire. I was / am faster on the X-Fire. Aero means nothing unless you're in Kansas. Don't want to buy a bike that is only good for one race event a year.
I own one of these. Really hop Apidura makes these bags available to the public in Europe too. They look great on the bike.
Can you use this as an endurence bike swapping out wheel sizes
Any idea where to find these clips on adapter + aerobars ?
pretty slick
Mud clearance looks....minimal 😒....
A $15,000 bike to race gravel?
You can get one for 3.700 EUR with SRAM group set. The most expensive one is around 7.000 EUR with Shimano GRX 800 Di2 and classified hub
tt bars look too low
You can never be too low!
@@PureGravel yes you can
@@PureGravel do you know what's the name of the clip on / where to find them ? :D
whats the widest tire you can fit on a TT bike? asking for a friend
Ask Chase Wark. dude won the DAMn 240 on an aero road bike.
