I love watching galahs flying, they are some of the craziest fliers.
I admire every freeflight student I watch because they put so much time and commitment in to their bird and get such amazing results.
I hope to see this with my galahs soon.
Would love to be part of your journey!
@@BirdTricks I would love that too!
I love these ladies! They both have great positive attitudes!
Thank you for watching!!
A COCKATOO VIDEO!! YAY! Someday I hope my beautiful Moluccan Cockatoo, Mango, can enjoy flying like Momo. His wings were clipped all the time (before I had him). I haven't clipped him in years but his feathers are not quite grown in due to his plucking/self mutilating. We're almost there due to good diet and my learning... thank you Bird Tricks!
I love watching other birds flooraging
(Floor foraging)
Would be very cool to see a white cockatoo of any flavor free flight.
Looks like Momo was having the best time of his life! So fun to watch!
It brings tears to see this beautiful bird getting a chance at freedom and happiness because people around him love him enough to make it happen. Beautiful video shots!
I bought your parrot cookbooks as a gift for my girlfriend. She made one of the mixes from the book and the birds go NUTS for it!!!
Aw yay!!!
I’m from Sydney Australia and I never think of a galah as a cockatoo. It’s so wonderful to see them flying and in such beautiful country. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you and please take care and stay safe.
I cheered when he finally landed on her hand 🤗🤗
This is a video I've been waiting for I love cockatoos and birds in all. Id love to meet you 💕
You're 5th congrats
Oh my lord a Cape Parrot!!! They are SO freakin cool!!!!
Aww Thank you!! He joined to support Momo my galah!
@@ShaniceAaronPianist I have a female Cape. She’s awesome.
Are you in training with your Cape for Free Flight?
So amazing! Love seeing those galahs flying :)
What a great moment, you can see that Momo was having the time of his life. Also the gps unit is amazing didn’t know that there was such a thing.
Great vid! Honestly a great story that encourages people to keep training there bird no matter how stubborn it might be. Keep going!
Love the freeflight videos! I definitely relate, I also own a stubborn cockatoo and recall training indoors isn't going so well with Cheeky so far. I hope I can freefly her someday, poor Jamie will not be happy having to train a Goffin though lol! 😂😜✨
You're 14th
I love the freeflight videos. I wish people did it where I live, perhaps we have too many hawks locally. The Birdtricks telemetry package looks cool and while I don’t have a bird myself, it’s thoughtful of Birdtricks to provide an extra layer of safety for those who are lucky enough to freefly. Maybe it means I’ll finally get a chance to watch free flights happening around Washington, D.C., near my home. I have a mental picture of colorful macaws and galahs flying around the Washington monument.
Nice, and very happy ladies!
I can’t believe the cape parrot!!!!!
Typical galah, being a galah. Beautiful, crazy, temperamental, loving lump of nuttiness all wrapped up in feathers. I love mine to bits; he loves me to bits (also loves my house, preferably in bits if not supervised, chainsawer of toys, litterer of floors) unless he's tripped over - then it's my fault and I get a telling off. Precious and I love that they are looking after their little beautiful buddy so well.
I’ve never read a more accurate statement. My quaker is about the same but less likely to dive bomb people. She gets straight to the point and full on chases them, beak wide open and ready for the kill😂
What a happy video! It's really nice editing! Momo looks amazing in the sky. Thank you so much BirdTricks!💕
My Name is Mika!!!!
And I love galah cockatoos💝💝
Omeditoo!! Yay Momo!!
Your an inspiration I would love for my parrot to be able to go and fly free I feel as if he is trapped, I’m trying to find ways to teach him he is aggressive but wants love just very moody and hard to relate to but I cried seeing your bird so happy and free
This is wonderful
I love getting to know the humans and personal story behind the parrots!
I always love watching these videos especially when they involve galahs. They are one of my absolute favorites! I can't wait to finally get my galah in the future! When I do free flying is an absolute must!
AMAZING!!! Great Adventure! 🦅
Hilarious bird; great women.
It's so beautiful! Wish I could come too..💞
I hope I will learn my cockatiel to free fly soon too! 😃
Beautiful video, Thank you so much @BirdTricks for making this video and making great memories for my birds.
I'd love to see more about how you train and interact with your doves. My first bird was a dove.
Beautiful 😍♥️
He's like nope xD Like a cat
Beautiful video! Lovely editing! 😁
You're 12th Congrats
@@methamphetamine_9 whoop whoop!! 🙌🏻
This makes me so happy
Wow your so kind.
you're 6th congrats
I love seeing these stories showing all the progress!! One day me and my new guy will be with u guys! 💙 I love how you’re showing more about the GPS, is the clip that you snap it into something that you keep on the bird, or just while flying?
Yes, the mount is something that stays on the feather until the feather molts out. I will be releasing some more informational videos about the GPS and Telemetry units soon!
@@BirdTricks I know I'm really careful with my Green Cheeks that they do not get out of the house, but would this be something that would be good to have on them if you have people who do not know about birds coming around in case they do escape or get freaked out? I am in the process of free flight training them (just for in the house and in case of escape, we have predators around my house [owls, hawks and cats] and I am really afraid to clip their wings bc they wouldn't be able to get away).
That’s a cool story
True you are 8th and 9th Double congrats
Wow awesome video and photos
And can't wait for capri and blueberrys video😁😊😊😊😊😊
I love Cape parrots. They're so cute
Thank you!! His name is Noa :)
Here are some tips on getting a bird onto a healthy diet:
Sprout seeds, it is super easy and flock talks has a video on it. Once they prove to you they can eat sprouts or that they can eat something that isn't seeds stop giving them unsprouted seeds. Then give them only sprouts for a couple of days, and after that, start putting a little bit of sprouts on top of chop. Then they probably wont eat it all at once they will only eat the sprouts. So put the bowl in their cage and leave them in their for a while, like while you are at school or work. Slowly add less sprouts. This will only work if they have not had unsprouted seeds for a while.
For getting them onto pellets, use an unhealthy pellet. Like Zupreem fruit blend. It is not healthy that is why they love it. My cockatiel likes the bigger zupreem fruit pellets. Since cockatiels are natural ground foragers I put her on a water proof mat used for changing babies diapers, (clean of course) and but zupreem fruit blend pellets and her healthy pellets on the mat and she eats mostly the zupreem pellets, but also the healthy pellets. What I am going to do next is slowly ween her on to healthy pellets. She is almost converted. This is what worked for my cockatiel, it will not work for every bird, but i have found when I give her unsprouted seeds after not having them for a few days, she wont eat anything but seeds. She hasn't seen unsprouted seeds in her bowl in weeks and she is starting to really eat healthier. She ate mostly sprouts for a while though.
Love this video! I always love your videos
True you're 7th Congrats

@@methamphetamine_9 means what...? 🤔
I really wanna get my bird to get out it’s cage and be comfortable in his stand and I want him to be comfortable around my hand cause he’s still scared of it ( he’s a sun conure)
Any advice a video or something
Who do you recommend in Australia to help teach free flying and bird training?
Hi can I get any and every tip for soon to be adopted Macaw that would be amazing and any other information that is important for training
Shes 20 and is a hybrid i watch all your vids but want to make sure i didt miss anything 😊
yay
No @blue bell this comment of yours is first for your information
@@methamphetamine_9 ewwwww
Hi my bird is scared of food and objects and I am really sad because I rlly want her to not be scared nothing works and shes a budgie can u pls tell me??
Hello! Nice video! Can you recommend a macaw, that is good for first time owners and one that is well behaved with other birds and animals? (Excluding mini macaws)
If u want a small macaw I would suggest a Hans macaw and larger would be a blue and gold or scarlet or hyacinth or if u are beginner I would suggest a budgie or cockatiel btw you're 4th congrats my favorite macaw is a blue and gold make sure to give the bird a big cage.
That highly depends on the individual. There are small species like hans and severes, but in my experience they are both very sassy. However you bird should not be interacting with most other pets. Cats, dogs, ferrets, rats, etc are all very dangerous to allow your bird to interact with. They can easily harm or kill your bird, and their saliva is dangerous.
Very true @Squidy Fry
@@methamphetamine_9 Ok thanks
@Juli Robinson Ok, thank you
Can you help me by suggesting some weaning stage tips for cockatiel bird. My bird is now 1.5 month old, and how should i start weaning and what is the best food for that ?
Look for her "baby bird" video featuring HALO.
I have a free download on that here: birdtricksstore.com/collections/free-products/products/a-guide-to-weaning-baby-birds
This is hard to watch...I can’t stop thinking about a lost little galah Hos been visiting a lady’s garden down the country..but with travel restrictions I can’t go try help him..and it’s getting so cold..I am weighted on a new telemetry unit made by microsencory in Europe there about to bring out a new parrot unit..
Hello @BirdTricks you are a bird trainer right? So why do you only train parrots (not ducks, chickens, geese and pigeons)
My sun set coner died rip Rest In Peace
Aw I am so sorry Oh wow you are 8th, 9th and 10th
Do u mean a Sun Conure?
So sorry for your loss.
💔
@@methamphetamine_9 very rude! This person lost a pet. Have some compassion!

I would love if you could give me some advice I have a 8 month old Indian ringneck really sweet we got him at 3 months we recently got a 4 year old yellow named amazon parrot he is a little jumpy he will give like warning not to get near him and I don’t take that when he does that I tell him no bite and stop that and I pet him to calm him down he is not the problem my Indian ringneck is getting to the age of exploring he will walk around the house on the floor with out us knowing but we have dogs that will eat him and he climbs to the Amazon’s cage and stand and whenever I try to get the ringneck away the amazon is preening him and the ringneck tries to preen him back but my amazon was like no and growled and picked his head up and if I try to get him away while I the amazon is preening the ringneck he gets scared and bite down and the only time he has don’t this is the first time that my ringneck climbed to his cage and when I get near the amazon when the ringneck is on the Amazon’s cage since my ringneck has seen the amazon bite me my ringneck is not having it and will try to attack him please I need some advise.
