      I don't know whether you're smarter than a garden snail, but the guy took several direct punches to the head and at least 100 from the side while he was down. Put that together in your tiny little mind and see if you draw a different conclusion.

      If you watch another version where they show the replay (over and over) and show it in slow mo. then you'll see it was a legit solid KO punch. Vernon was coming in as Chuck's overhand right was coming in. It was a damn hard shot.

    • @pauliecopez2683
      @pauliecopez2683 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      I think a 30 year old Chuck would be trouble for alot of 205 pounders today. He is awkward and throws huge hay makers that connect with alot of power. High level wrestler with great take down defense forcing you to slug it out. His chin faded with age, but young Chuck could take a punch as well as anyone.

    • @krb0123

      @pauliecopez2683 yeah man no doubt young Chuck was a fucking beast. I think Rampage cracked his chin at UFC 71 and then Rashad completely exploded it at ufc 88. I still think that’s the most brutal 1-punch KO of all time.

      @ My friend, all due respect, but if you have to even ask that question you’re effectively admitting to me you don’t understand what basic fighting fundamentals even are, which is fine, but just know as someone who at least trains irregularly and has been following boxing and mma for over 20yrs, I at the very least understand Chuck was more of a glorified brawler than he was a technically proficient martial artist.
      He was able to get away with it before mma became a much more technical affair.
      I love Chuck but if he brought that style to the table today, he likely wouldn’t even make it into the UFC without first becoming a much more technically disciplined fighter than he was.

      I watched the finishing punch around 10x before I saw this comment wondering if guy took a dive. it looks like chuck missed, but also looks like it could have been a punch where he got knuckles right in his eye. that basically feels like instant brain bleed. not fun.

    I watched this over so many times and in slow motion and zoomed in and then I zoomed out. Is it just me or did this look fake? Everything up to that knockout was authentic it looks real to me, but that last punch looks weak and hit him in a weird spot and the way he fell and just didn't line up with Hollywood punched. Fake I said it was fake

    White didn't get punched at the end. If you slow it down to .25x speed and pause it, you will see that when Chuck throws the punch, Whites head is already turned to the left, yet he acts like he got hit

    • @ecl357mm
      @ecl357mm หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you're right. At 1/4 speed I can't detect the sudden and violent stop his head should've made at chucks punch. His entire upper body seems to keep going forward as if it never connected

    • @chipchelios
      @chipchelios หลายเดือนก่อน

      And right before he throws the punch, Chuck looks to the fence towards his right, almost as if he's given the sign to throw the fake punch. I think it was set up.
