I got Frigga but haven't played her yet. I'm waiting for some deckbuilder to do their magic. As for Surtur, Sizer's deck looks pretty good, I hope to try him out soon. And I'm excited about Deadpool's Diner because what I liked the most is that the community came together to donate bubs so everyone could get the rewards. I hope it happens again.
I hit Infinite today and ran into nothing but Surtur decks from ranks 90 to 100. My first impression of Surtur? Super OP. With Armor and Cosmo in play, it’s almost impossible to counter those big cards-especially since some decks also throw in Alioth. Competing with Surtur’s power in the Armor/Cosmo lane is tough. Iron Man actually works pretty well against it, and U.S. Agent has a lot of value, though some Surtur decks also run Luke. Honestly, I’m a bit worried about the Surtur meta, especially with only one OTA this season. Frigga, on the other hand, is fun but doesn’t feel strong. I’ve tried a lot of decks, including a Sizer Frigga-Move-Bounce build, which might be the only one where Frigga really makes a difference. Since there are only three main power cards in Move, her copies help if you only draw one or two. But in other decks, her copies just don’t feel impactful enough to make up for her tempo loss.
Nico’s my favorite 1-cost card of all time by a large margin; and everytime I use her, I always try to go for the copy card effect. Frigga seems like a more reliable-yet-costly alternative to me. Not sure how to incorporate her into my existing decks yet, but it sure seems more fun than surtur the another big stick. I play Arishem almost exclusively now. The randomness + extra energy really keeps me on my toes, and personally it’s much more joyful than chasing after the meta.
Surtur appears to be skilled at gaining power, possibly a lane holder on his own, while Frigga seems gimmicky and has yet to find her combo. But that frigga bounce seems very nice

Frigga seems fun to play if you get the copies that you want. Deck builders will have a fun time with her. Surtur seems to be super strong. Seen so many videos of him going so high. You dont' need even him to be super big since you have a ton of big cards out there. Excited for Malekith week.

I do not own Frigga yet, but I put Surtur in my Scream deck (unfortunately missing Cannonball) and it turns out very well with Scream/Kraven, Aero and Magneto :)
First impression of frigga is that she’s super fun. Been playing her in a move deck and went from 73 to 93 yesterday. Surter warps my brain a little bit when the opponent drops scar + another 10 on the last turn lol like I’m not ready for all that power
I've been climbing using a Surtur deck - the GunnyT one you featured yesterday actually, though I'm going to switch to the Sizer one because of some awkwardness in the former. My impression is that Surtur is super strong but also kinda boring for me. I'll keep using it for now but ehhh maybe later on I'll do something else. As for Frigga, I don't have the card, but it seems really interesting and kinda fun even if it's not as universally strong as Surtur. I'll wait a few days before deciding on Frigga.
I love both of the new cards. I played Frigga in the new Sizer cook and copying Torch and Vulture was fantastic. Surtur seems broke. I am running a Zabu, Zero, 4/10’s deck with Cosmo and Armor and it reminds me of the old broken Shuri decks. Peace and love ❤️

Surtur is just broken and amazing. Tried numerous variations of Surtur decks and all were just amazing and winning me games. Used one key and got Red Guardian. Debating on if I should spend a key for Frigga.
I don't have the season pass, so not sure about Surtur but from the looks of it he seems pretty decent. Frigga is nice, but I think she will get better over time and once people start to get a little more creative with decks.

I think Surtur is strong on paper, I'm not sure about in practice, as every time I've run into Surtur, I've had the better draws and reads. (Affliction dropping things below 10 or Shadow King)
frigga: can lead to very powerful high rolls but its face-up information for your opponent so its not easy to snap on. I think she'll be better in lists that use her for more average value and idk what decks really want her right now. surtur: raw stats is always good. its hard to interact with. only disadvantage is needing to draw it early, similar to cassandra nova. surtur is still a good play on 6 though. I think this will be a meta staple
I think there will be an interesting interaction with how some ongoing cards buffing others to 10 work. It could be a bug, but if it isn't, it definitely could give it more flexibility in a midrange deck

For the spq I’m most excited for the diner, I honestly preferred it to HV, I think the stakes made it more interesting, I’m also excited for the spotlight with thena lmao
Honestly, I'm most excited to actually use new cards! This is the first time I've gotten to pull using spotlight keys, and I got Copycat, Red Guardian and Frigga! I even used my tokens for Thena in the shop, and get to choose a Series 3 card this month to add to my collection (I'm gonna get Mystique!). So I am super excited to started developing some different deck archetypes to play something outside of Pool 1 and 2!
First impressions - Surtur - Very powerful. Gonna be cool to see what kind of decks people brew with it. Frigga - Complete honesty - have yet to even see it in a game lol (played conquest all day, have 20 silver tickets already, not one single frigga)
I think that frigga helps hercules be a bit better, since arana/iron fist + card + frigga is what you want to do, her/madame web helps you get + 1/2 move in before you copy t4/5 with frigga.
Surtur looks great as expected. I'm excited to play him but waiting to see if I win the season pass :) Frigga looks like she needs more time to find a home, I'll definitely wait for the last chance review on her since I have the other cards.
I got Frigga, but that’s because I was going for Red Guardian; I haven’t played her yet. Haven’t seen her played much yet, and seeing a bit of Surtur, which seems to be about a 50/50 against the Agent Venom deck I’m currently using.
Surtur seems really good. A little unfortunate that he has to be down to count. Don’t have Frigga yet but will probably pick her up as a bounce enjoyer.

There was this (pre nerf) Zabu 4/10s deck that was fun and easy and I liked it, Surtur may make that deck a thing again. Frigga I will likely get because she seems like she could have crazy high rolls, but will be just ok or useless otherwise. I will need a lot of play time with her to have more than a guess. QOTD: my first impression of surtur is that he is alittle overtuned and powerful but easy to counter. I haven't picked up the battle pass yet but I haven't lost to that surtur deck yet. Frigga seems amazing in certain decks and I may just go pick her up for a better opinion.
First impressions? Surtur: Super fun but narrow build that's widely telegraphed. Like most telegraphed decks, it shouldn't theoretically be a big cube winner as good opponents will either retreat or have a strong counter ready. I'm already snapping on turn 2 into their played Armor with Anti-Surtur decks like Affliction or a Move deck I know can outscale them. But it's great to have a card solidifying the "Big Boy" archetype (cards with outsized power stats reined in by restrictions on their play.) Shang-Chi is the savior of many a new player and one of the most iconic cards in the game. Nice to have a build worthy of challenging him, as there are so many 10+ cards across lanes he can't cover them all. (A Shang-Chi posse with Absorbing Man and Grandmaster anyone? Plus Fenris is coming! Add in Echo, Red Guardian, and Enchantress for the Armor or Cosmo!) Frigga: Broad utility. Straight up cloning your own card of choice has exclusively been a Nico Minoru ability, so it's good the have a second. Can creatively fit into many different decks. Room for tons of experimentation and excited to see her develop.
My first impressions of Surtur and Frigga. After facing a number of Surtur decks day 1, Surtur is really good upfront. It just does what it does nothing fancy but full of value. 3 cost 10+ power is fantastic. I've had cubes stolen from me by versions that play Aero. I cant even be mad by that. Frigga needs some experimenting i think but i've seen the move deck utilize her to double up on a huge human torch. Like 16 power and that seems busted.
Surtur is crazy, love him already. Gonna enjoy playing him until the inevitable nerf, but hopefully he's still strong and consistent post-nerf too like Thena. Waiting on Frigga until Friday, have only seen one game where someone played her against me and it wasn't anything special, but we'll see if/how that changes
I already know the Snap lines when I play against Surtur, since it's mainly him, Bounce, Move and Arishem I've run into lol. Surtur is a beast and he makes the 10's deck even more deadly. Frigga, not sure yet, I got her from Spotlights today and will try her in brews after I finish the 90's climb on ladder
Surtur has been looking pretty good, based on what I'm seeing. I plan to pull for frigga, mainly since I'm missing copycat + red guardian as well. However, I'm still not sure where she lines up in the meta yet.
My first impression of Surtur is that he's one of the strongest 3s in the game. Its so hard to replace him in the skaar deck so i went with marvel boy and added squirrel girl to the deck to try and imitate his power output and that kinda works. As for frigga i think she's brilliant. In my first game with her i got cloning vats and kamar taj and created four 76 power human torches in one turn. She's insane in move. I watched gameplays of both cards yesterday, and the impression I have is that Frigga is a very good card in the hands of high-level players. I watched the Evazord playing with it in move/bounce yesterday and it was simply broken, on the table there were 2 vultures with 27 power! As for Surtur, I found it to be a very linear gameplay card, and apparently it won't run in many deck archetypes
I think both cards are limited, though Sutur may be more versatile than I originally thought. He's very good, or should I say, he makes Skaar amazing. Do we know whether he works with cards that reveal at 10, e.g ongoings? I'm having fun with a C3 counter (Invisible woman, Shang, Shadow King and Grand Master are cube stealers). Not got or played against Frigga at all really, but think that it'll only be useful copying cheap cards. I like Move bounce so may try and get her if top players recommend.

Not yet having surtur I can say playing against that deck is tough!! Frigga seems a little clunky but I’ve had a couple plays against me that have been really neat. I opened a couple keys because I really like the variants. I got tokens and then copy cat (which is the variant I wanted most). Waiting to see your thoughts at the end of the week to see if I should get frigga. I skipped Anti-venom (though I could buy with tokens) and really like Ajax so the deck you featured today is tempting me to not wait.
Frigga has felt truly strong in bounce move. and not only for copying gigantic pieces, but also for versatility sake. sometimes I just need another spider, i've even decided to copy madame web a few times. frigga feels like comfort food in an inconsistent deck, where the 3 drop has felt flex and hercules is bad, it's a pretty great card imo.
I don't have frigga and the only person i fought using it was playing weird but surtur already kicked my butt multiple times, i think frigga just needs some testing and surtur is just solid

Pulled Frigga on 1 key, haven't completely figured out her fit, but she'll have a place in the meta at some point. In a negative neck on Wong, she gave me copies of a 0 Ironman once. Surtur seem OP and expect a nerf next season, perhaps to a 4 cost. Great early season card.
Surtur seems busted, Frigga seems really interesting (waiting until Monday, but seeming like a good use of keys). IW in the Sera Monkey deck seems like it will often need to be a turn 6 play as otherwise Cosmo or Alioth are bad times.
I haven't tried both cards but my initial impressions are For Surtur, almost no downsides of the card apart from low flexibility in different decks. Really good card. As for Frigga, I think her design is really unique. Question is can you find a way to copy a card that is good enough to: A) compensate for Frigga's bad stats and basically 'skip' a turn B) compensate for the fact that you can only play the copied card the next turn? The answer is probably 'No' for know, but in the future when more options to build cheap and powerful cards open up I can see Frigga being rly rly good.
Haven't seen Frigga at all, yet, so I'm not sure if she's actually worth opening for. I see more potential in Surtur. Don't own it but played a few times against it. Seems strong but takes a hit whenever Mobius stops Zabu.
First impressions Surtur - absolutely busted power scaling. I mean yeah it’s pretty much only limited to one deck but it gets huge pretty regularly. Now I understand that it’s all vertical scaling and Agent Venom probably has roughly the same power output but seeing that power go tall instead of wide feels completely different. Anyways I think it’s a super cool card that makes an archetype more fun. Frigga - i haven’t seen any frigga gameplay at all either in game or on TH-cam so I have no clue how good this card is.
So far Surtur looks really good but with not that many decks And I have played Frigga with Anti-Venom, she looks good but I’m hoping she and King Eitiri can help the Thors deck
Been playing Comiz's Afflict Evo deck and Red Guardian, Scorpion, Hazmat, and Cassandra Nova have been working well for me against Surtur decks. I still think Surtur is OP though despite that.

At the moment she doesn't seem a must have, but probaly i am wrong and someone is cooking a new tier 0 deck with her

I don’t have Surtur but he seems to be a better Red Hulk in the sense that he’s not as obvious as a target. And he’s less ShangChi-able too. I got Frigga and while I’m trying her out in different decks, I kind of have success with Move decks more.
I was really excited for Frigga the season, but her kill in tempo is really hard to overcome, the move deck is great, but pretty awkward to play. Surtur is OP in the most boring generic way possible, I don't get why they buffed Typhoid Mary right before releasing this. So i guess Fenris Wolf is what im looking forward to most.

My first impressions of Surtur is that the decks he is in are becoming more intimidating by how easily they can scale with little effort and I feel like the Skaar archetype is 1 or 2 cards from becoming a staple in the meta. As for Frigga, I have only found a home for her in Sizer’s move list (I play cosmo in place of Dr Strange) so I’m yet to see if there is room for a Frigga archetype in the meta.

Honestly it makes me wonder if the alioth/heim deck couldn't find some success with frigga+herc, maybe over ghost spider since frigga devalues her.

Surtur seems really good. A little unfortunate that he has to be down to count. Don’t have Frigga yet but will probably pick her up as a bounce enjoyer.

I haven't played with Surtur as I lack the season pass so that's my inpersonation of Surtur. I think I want Surtur. There was this (pre nerf) Zabu 4/10s deck that was fun and easy and I liked it, Surtur may make that deck a thing again.
Frigga I will likely get because she seems like she could have crazy high rolls, but will be just ok or useless otherwise. I will need a lot of play time with her to have more than a guess.

Frigga in move is incredible but I hope that's not all to this card I wish it finds it's place in more decks
QOTD: my first impression of surtur is that he is alittle overtuned and powerful but easy to counter. I haven't picked up the battle pass yet but I haven't lost to that surtur deck yet. Frigga seems amazing in certain decks and I may just go pick her up for a better opinion.

First impressions?
Surtur: Super fun but narrow build that's widely telegraphed. Like most telegraphed decks, it shouldn't theoretically be a big cube winner as good opponents will either retreat or have a strong counter ready. I'm already snapping on turn 2 into their played Armor with Anti-Surtur decks like Affliction or a Move deck I know can outscale them. But it's great to have a card solidifying the "Big Boy" archetype (cards with outsized power stats reined in by restrictions on their play.)
Shang-Chi is the savior of many a new player and one of the most iconic cards in the game. Nice to have a build worthy of challenging him, as there are so many 10+ cards across lanes he can't cover them all. (A Shang-Chi posse with Absorbing Man and Grandmaster anyone? Plus Fenris is coming! Add in Echo, Red Guardian, and Enchantress for the Armor or Cosmo!)
Frigga: Broad utility. Straight up cloning your own card of choice has exclusively been a Nico Minoru ability, so it's good the have a second. Can creatively fit into many different decks. Room for tons of experimentation and excited to see her develop.
My first impressions of Surtur and Frigga. After facing a number of Surtur decks day 1, Surtur is really good upfront. It just does what it does nothing fancy but full of value. 3 cost 10+ power is fantastic. I've had cubes stolen from me by versions that play Aero. I cant even be mad by that. Frigga needs some experimenting i think but i've seen the move deck utilize her to double up on a huge human torch. Like 16 power and that seems busted.
Surtur is crazy, love him already. Gonna enjoy playing him until the inevitable nerf, but hopefully he's still strong and consistent post-nerf too like Thena. Waiting on Frigga until Friday, have only seen one game where someone played her against me and it wasn't anything special, but we'll see if/how that changes

I already know the Snap lines when I play against Surtur, since it's mainly him, Bounce, Move and Arishem I've run into lol. Surtur is a beast and he makes the 10's deck even more deadly. Frigga, not sure yet, I got her from Spotlights today and will try her in brews after I finish the 90's climb on ladder

Surtur has been looking pretty good, based on what I'm seeing. I plan to pull for frigga, mainly since I'm missing copycat + red guardian as well. However, I'm still not sure where she lines up in the meta yet.
My first impression of Surtur is that he's one of the strongest 3s in the game. Its so hard to replace him in the skaar deck so i went with marvel boy and added squirrel girl to the deck to try and imitate his power output and that kinda works.
As for frigga i think she's brilliant. In my first game with her i got cloning vats and kamar taj and created four 76 power human torches in one turn. She's insane in move. Planning to try her in negative
Not excited for the return of Deadpool Diner, but definitely excited for a few new cards, my top being Fenris
I watched gameplays of both cards yesterday, and the impression I have is that Frigga is a very good card in the hands of high-level players. I watched the Evazord playing with it in move/bounce yesterday and it was simply broken, on the table there were 2 vultures with 27 power! As for Surtur, I found it to be a very linear gameplay card, and apparently it won't run in many deck archetypes
I think both cards are limited, though Sutur may be more versatile than I originally thought. He's very good, or should I say, he makes Skaar amazing. Do we know whether he works with cards that reveal at 10, e.g ongoings? I'm having fun with a C3 counter (Invisible woman, Shang, Shadow King and Grand Master are cube stealers).
Not got or played against Frigga at all really, but think that it'll only be useful copying cheap cards. I like Move bounce so may try and get her if top players recommend.
So far Frigga seems really strong, been using her in bounce and doing really well. Surprisingly, have not encountered much Surtur yet and I'm not playing him either so I don't have much to say on him.
Not yet having surtur I can say playing against that deck is tough!! Frigga seems a little clunky but I’ve had a couple plays against me that have been really neat. I opened a couple keys because I really like the variants. I got tokens and then copy cat (which is the variant I wanted most). Waiting to see your thoughts at the end of the week to see if I should get frigga. I skipped Anti-venom (though I could buy with tokens) and really like Ajax so the deck you featured today is tempting me to not wait.

Frigga has felt truly strong in bounce move. and not only for copying gigantic pieces, but also for versatility sake. sometimes I just need another spider, i've even decided to copy madame web a few times. frigga feels like comfort food in an inconsistent deck, where the 3 drop has felt flex and hercules is bad, it's a pretty great card imo.
I don't have frigga and the only person i fought using it was playing weird but surtur already kicked my butt multiple times, i think frigga just needs some testing and surtur is just solid
I haven’t really gotten to play against much surtur so I don’t really know yet. I got frigga first try but I don’t have enough move cards yet and she feels clunky in my bounce and destroy decks
Pulled Frigga on 1 key, haven't completely figured out her fit, but she'll have a place in the meta at some point. In a negative neck on Wong, she gave me copies of a 0 Ironman once. Surtur seem OP and expect a nerf next season, perhaps to a 4 cost. Great early season card.
Surtur seems busted, Frigga seems really interesting (waiting until Monday, but seeming like a good use of keys). IW in the Sera Monkey deck seems like it will often need to be a turn 6 play as otherwise Cosmo or Alioth are bad times.
I haven't tried both cards but my initial impressions are
For Surtur, almost no downsides of the card apart from low flexibility in different decks. Really good card.
As for Frigga, I think her design is really unique. Question is can you find a way to copy a card that is good enough to:
A) compensate for Frigga's bad stats and basically 'skip' a turn
B) compensate for the fact that you can only play the copied card the next turn?
The answer is probably 'No' for know, but in the future when more options to build cheap and powerful cards open up I can see Frigga being rly rly good.

Haven't seen Frigga at all, yet, so I'm not sure if she's actually worth opening for.
I see more potential in Surtur. Don't own it but played a few times against it. Seems strong but takes a hit whenever Mobius stops Zabu.
Surtur looks great, but haven't tried it yet, waiting to see the good brews.
I don't have either but I think Surtur is the best card in November and I might be making this week the one I skip for the month.
Haven't picked up frigga yet so i can't say. But Surter is obviously nutty haha

First impressions
Surtur - absolutely busted power scaling. I mean yeah it’s pretty much only limited to one deck but it gets huge pretty regularly. Now I understand that it’s all vertical scaling and Agent Venom probably has roughly the same power output but seeing that power go tall instead of wide feels completely different. Anyways I think it’s a super cool card that makes an archetype more fun.
Frigga - i haven’t seen any frigga gameplay at all either in game or on TH-cam so I have no clue how good this card is.

Been playing Comiz's Afflict Evo deck and Red Guardian, Scorpion, Hazmat, and Cassandra Nova have been working well for me against Surtur decks. I still think Surtur is OP though despite that.
Haven't played against Frigga yet, so that may mean she isn't very good. As for Surtur it looks great and the decks he fits into are just so huge that they're hard to beat. I'm impressed, looks better than agent venom
Surtur seems powerful, but at the moment i don't see many decks for him (the 10s and the double up with shehulk). Frigga seems good as a back up plan, for move, destroy and maybe also bounce. At the moment she doesn't seem a must have, but probaly i am wrong and someone is cooking a new tier 0 deck with her
Thanks for the decks! I think Surtr could well get nerfed as soon as this season ends (maybe sooner if it's too good?), it just seems too powerful. And I'm sorry it's not good news.

QOTD: Have not tried them yet. I am trying to reach infinite with decks that I know relatively well. From what I have seen, Sutrur is great, Frigga don't know yet
I don’t have Surtur but he seems to be a better Red Hulk in the sense that he’s not as obvious as a target. And he’s less ShangChi-able too.
I got Frigga and while I’m trying her out in different decks, I kind of have success with Move decks more.
Cassandra nova can also counter surtur a bit if you reduce the 10 cards to 9 power in their deck
I haven't gotten Frigga or Surter yet. I spent two keys so far to get Ms. Marvel and the Red Guardian variant. Surter looks like a menace though.

Hi, I started a month ago... cl899... is there a budget surtur deck?
I was really excited for Frigga the season, but her kill in tempo is really hard to overcome, the move deck is great, but pretty awkward to play. Surtur is OP in the most boring generic way possible, I don't get why they buffed Typhoid Mary right before releasing this. So i guess Fenris Wolf is what im looking forward to most.
My impressions of Surtur is that he will be a meta card very quickly and I'll be excited to play him though with Frigga I'm on the fence about if she'll be good or not

Frigga seems…ok, but even her best plays (like let’s say she copies something valuable in that Ajax deck), players will literally see that happen and never likely stay in to lose cubes on that..?
My first impressions of Surtur is that the decks he is in are becoming more intimidating by how easily they can scale with little effort and I feel like the Skaar archetype is 1 or 2 cards from becoming a staple in the meta. As for Frigga, I have only found a home for her in Sizer’s move list (I play cosmo in place of Dr Strange) so I’m yet to see if there is room for a Frigga archetype in the meta.

Just my take on Surtur & Frigga, I do not have the season pass as f2p but can say pretty confidently Surtur is very strong and a Meta card, if you can’t counter you loose most of the time. Figga seams yet unexplored to me but with strong potential
