This was my first contact with K4SWL. I’m waiting for his video. I’ve tried lots of times to get him but this was the first time I could hear him from CA mobile. He has been my CW mentor.
He is amazing and a great mentor to me, too. I don't think he made a video of this park activation (could be wrong though). And yes, I'm always trying to chase him from AZ and rarely have made contact.
It was Vince's arm. He has an app, not sure which one but probably ham alert, that sends him notifications for POTA spots to his phone. This appears to be an SMS message. The watch he uses displays the messages he receives on his phone. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
