it's sad, I was in an okay band, put everything into it, but the guys I started it with changed and I had to go my own way in the end. But nothing beats being the best of friends and making music. Very happy for Sam and Architects that they made such an impact, and amongst all the difficulties and the tragedy.
Perspective is interesting isn’t it. I saw a comment about Brian (RockFeed)interrupting Sam after watching and did not notice any sort of discomfort from Sam or out of pocket interrupting. It seemed more like a real conversation which is amazing to watch. Just my feedback, keep on the good work man 🤘
Saw them headline Saturday at Bloodstock festival, fantastic show and Sam seems such a genuine guy, love that they continue to experiment with their sound
Architects and Bury Tomorrow… I’m American but these two bands have gotten me through some rough days. Hopefully Martyn gets to shred a little on the next record! I think he filled in for Josh when they toured the States in 2019 for Holy Hell too. Guy is phenomenal!
I want to cry listening Architects and Linkin Park, not other bands. Maybe we feel something like we were betrayed by Architects when they after all this anger recovered, but we don't. Like we didn't get enough therapy. Still love their sound, though, I fuckin love Sam's abandoned and distant psychedelic vocals in Demi God or Libertine
Amazing interview, watched it all without any skips. Interesting questions and answers I haven't heard before. Sam really sounds like a great guy to hang out with. Keep going Rock Feed!
Yesssssss. Keep Jordan Fish around because Curse was everything Architects was missing all in one song. Seeing Red was good, too, but Curse is something different. As far as sound goes, I’ve accepted we are past the phase of Holy Hell, and that's understandable. It was closure and grievance all at once, and masterpieces like that cannot be made in the snap of two fingers.
With me personally going through stuff recently I’ve always stayed true to how I listen to bands and whatever they release and I love having the mindset not always expecting anger with the heavy I thought architects latest records were really well written and I’ve got plenty of favorites off of them but also the point of any artists is to grow in life and within their music and I find it absolutely beautiful those intertwining with each other and makes for such more valuable experience listen to that with favorite band or artist in general
Got a lot of love for Sam and the guys - have tatts representing both LF//LT and AOGHAU so the changes since Holy Hell have been a rough pill to swallow. Was so grateful to share in their grief at the time as I was struggling to manage my own. Absolutely understand growing past that though as it’s not really something you want to make your entire identity forever. Curse has been their best tune in years and as much as i was gutted to see Josh leave I’m glad they’ve got into a good song writing groove. I hope they find a happy place and stay the fuck off twitter lol
I’m really bummed out I went and drove 4 hours to see architects in Philadelphia this year but my vehicle broke down on the way, we were luckily able to make it to the venue but I had to wait outside for the mechanic and missed the majority of architects, at least my buds got to see them and I was able to hang out for at least one song before I had to go back to my car
Just some feedback - let the person you're interviewing talk. You interrupt so much. Sam was going to go into more details about making Curse in a day for example but you totally threw him off.
Yeah that’ll happen, i’m sure it be hard to stay professional while being a fan. Probably be hard to get used to, but over time interviewing more and more big stars, I’m sure he will probably only improve
I'm so sicknof youtube unsubscribing me from your channel amd also changing my preferences to personal when I Wana see all your videos bro..I'm aonsixk of shit culture cause I love this chanel and I love archery
I’ve been a fan since doomsday came out and this is one of the best interviews i’ve seen with Sam! I was disappointed that they didn’t play anything from AOGHAU on their last tour, but i’m a fan for life!
In the least parasocial way, I love this band, their art, and Sam seems like a genuine and fantastic person, I hope to see the band one day, wonder if they do meet and greets
rock feed is a birds fan?!?! LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!! architects are dope too, saw them with WSSleeps in myrtle. loved since all our gods. great interview, go birds
People say he could join Linkin Park he would be a good fit because Linkin Park is currently looking for a singer they want a female. But this guy sounds similar to Chester and would fit and I don't think people would be mad about it
My friends band ( CZYK ) is heavily influenced by the Architects and who knows where we'd all be without the Architects music being the soundtrack to our lives.🤘💀🤘
Anybody know anything about a song? I think it was called levitating but when i look it up all that comes up is dua lipa. Somebody has to know the song im talking about. I would guess it came out around 2005, kinda rock kinda pop. Maybe 2015?
How did sleep token become the bigger band? I don’t get it. Architects music is probably the best in modern metal. Keep these special guest interviews coming 🤘🤘
That’s a good question actually. Sleep token changes their sound so much, they can play any style, pop, djent, r and b, alternative. Arichects, got pigeon holed when they wrote metalcore albums imo and when they changed their sound, they divided the fans that wanted the more aggressive punk metal sound, but they gained a lot of fans when they started writing more pop metal. Both bands are really great imo.
@@michaeljvandyck fair enough I have heard sleep token and seen them live however I don’t see how musically their songs are as appealing as Architects. I can understand how changing their sound would have annoyed fans but the new stuff is catchy (sorry if I’m sounding like a teenybopper

R.I.P Tom Searle. Dude paved the way with so much great music. Architects deserves a Grammy
Everytime I see an interview with him. Dude seems like a genuine good human being. Such a humble guy. I definitely need to see them live one day!
I saw him there for Rockville. Never heard of Architects before then and I love that band now. Great performance. You won't regret it.
Sam is such a sweet human. Had the pleasure of meeting him back in the spring on the us tour.

Sam seems genuinely happy and content. And that makes me happy.
wow its great to hear him admit he was wrong. much respect you cant always get it right, take the learning experience and come back stronger
Sam is such nice person, good to see him doing better

I really appreciate you sticking around all these years. ❤️ truly means a lot to me.
That's crazy. I had to double check lmao. I somehow thought this channel was still at 15K subs. He's come a long way!
Love that De Gea and Hojlund are fans of the band.
